    Some great mounting items for the serious photographer. A steady camera and reliable quick release mounts are a photographers dream. There are so many options there that it seems all conditions of mounting a camera is covered. You Michael can be thrilled because you provide some serious photography on your channel which I love. Thanks for informing us of what's available and your reviews.

      Thanks mate! There are quite many QR systems indeed. Some of them better than others. This definitely belongs to the good ones.

    Just wondering if the "Nano Swivel" good enough to support mirrorless DSLR? I'm thinking about using it on the mantis pod instead of the supplied ball head

      It feels quite stable. I've used it with a few big cameras already, but the heavier they are, the shakier the footage is

    I just got a set of the snaplock. There is a little but of play when locked. Not sure if it’s defective or they are all like that

      Mine stays firmly when locked. But I know there are a few different revisions already.

    Great review! It's been a while since this came out and it seems quite a few people had a problem of the beetle camera clip coming undone while travelling or even when they had their camera on it. Did you encounter this problem? Or is it stable enough? I am trying to decided between this and Peak Design Capture Clip V3

    • @TechMishka
      @TechMishka  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I only use the beetle when filming electric scooter videos and use the Sony ZV1 with it, as anything else feels too heavy. Never had an issue, BUT you have to really well clip it and lock the mechanism.
      Never had the chance to try the Peak design Capture Clip V3. I have a few PD neck straps and love them!

    • @jeehoonkim5429
      @jeehoonkim5429 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TechMishka So it really just depends on how tightly you fasten the clip. Thank you so much for the reply and Merry Christmas!

    Really informative video. Thanks.
    What about the Gopro mount during heavy duty activities like skiing, Mtbiking etc... ?
    It seems there a "ball bearing" enabling to orientate the mount in every direction. Is it sturdy enough to keep the camera facing the same direction during the mentioned above activities ?

    • @TechMishka
      @TechMishka  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I believe it is sturdy enough and it won't move, unless there is a very serious impact.

    I'll be honest, I'm still in doubt...
    I currently use the Peak Design Capture clip, I put it on my backpack strap all the time and whenever I need my Canon R5 + Canon 100-400mm goes on it to allow my hands to rest (about 2.4KG)
    and mine does support arca swiss as well, but such a system by PGYTECH interests me to make everything compatible with it and maybe get another clip for the belt (like they showed in the official video) but for some reason I can't seem to get myself trusting it with the weight though they claim to support up to 10KG, I do have some products by PGYTECH and loved so far all of them but, this one just... I can't put a finger or something, I do want to try it but something tells me I might not want to trust it... I guess I'll check prices and how many things for those I need...

      oh and, how's that new GoPro 10? (though I didn't notice? haha)

    • @TechMishka
      @TechMishka  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Peak design is really a great brand. I thought of showing my Peak Design strap for camera too, but then decided it won't be too interesting. I believe their clips are that good too.
      I will likely get a few more plates and use them with the smaller cameras, because of the form factor.
      I am also still a bit worried to trust all the cameras and mostly use them with the Sony ZV1. Time will show :)

    • @TechMishka
      @TechMishka  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The GoPro is actually nice. It feels like the Hero 9, with a snappier interface. I haven't had overheatings, but also - haven't really used the maximum frame rates. Still collecting some footage - weather has been rather bad lately :)

    • @DimusTech
      @DimusTech 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TechMishka With the peak design, I'm not afraid to jump with my Canon R5 + Canon 100-400 lens (about 2.5KG) that's why it's hard for me to switch when I trust a product even though it's expensive, I'm pretty sure you trust their strap too (I also use their Cuff and Slide)

    • @DimusTech
      @DimusTech 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TechMishka Well, there's no bad weather for GoPro's, that's why I love them. I heard lots of things about overheating, I know that I did have some issues in direct sun on sunny days with my 8 but nothing too much to worry, not sure of the situation with the 10

      @TechMishka  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      True - not necessary.
      I was just making some thoughts about how much time I spend on switching between gear. Arca swiss mounts, removing them, using 1/4'' thread and so on.
