    Nice one. In few first seconds, you got me with those lights behind you as the Sun through your window. And then I remembered a video where you were saying about them. Awesome system. Great Video.

    Thanks for video. I used your Amazon link to buy the Beetle.
    Side note…can’t remember when I started following you…certainly when you had less than 1,000 subscribers. Just saw you’re now past 50,000. Well deserved! You make great videos with no fluff. Keep up the great work. 👍

    Hi Phillip. Another very useful video. Thank you. Been following your channel for a little while - Your range of DJI Mini 2 videos were super helpful and useful when deciding whether to take the plunge and buy one... I did in the end and am really enjoying flying it so far. Keep up the good work dude. 👍🏼

      Hi Ross, Thank You! Happy to hear you're having fun with the drone, keep on flying! As for this bit of gear, fantastic, very easy to use and just shaves a ton of time of switching between setups for me!

    Nice video as usual! Just got a question: Is the PGYTECH base plate compatible with Peak Designs Capture clip? Both are arca swiss compatible so they should work (in theory).
    In generell I already ordered two PGYTECH snaplocks to equip my slider and my Manfrotto video head with it to be able to switch my camera gear fast. I‘ve been waiting for a great snap in solution like this one, thought a long time about the Manfrotto 323 but its locking pin sticks out downwards restricting it to be mounted on big flat surfaces (e. g. bigger Manfrotto video head plates). The chinese knockoff 323 changed the position of the locking pin but weren‘t available (anymore) in Europe.
    So this seems to be a great solution and the best thing is I can (probably) use it with my Peak Design Capture clip without changing the base plate.
    *Edit: Peak Design Caputre Clip V3 and the PGYTECH base seem to be incompatible (see my next comment).

    • @PhilippJansen
      @PhilippJansen 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Just received one of the snaplocks and it IS NOT compatible with the arca swiss Peak Design Capture plate! Both plates (Peak Design and PYTECH) have a slightly different design. If you try to put the PYTECH plate into the Peak Design Caputre Clip V3 it won't lock, which is pretty dangerous for your equipment! Likewise, you can't put the Peak Design plate into the PGYTECH base; it won't fit because the Peak Design plate is to large.
      Take this with a grain of salt, because PGYTECH contacted me via Amazon and told me the one I received is faulty. They didn't tell me what is wrong with it. They just suggested to send it back to them and wait till the product is widely available and shippable via Amazon directly. I sent them an E-Mail asking for this compatibility issue but didn't receive an answer yet. I'll keep you updated. It would be shame if you could only use the PGYTECH with its beetle and not with Peak Design Capture Clip V3!

    • @PhilippJansen
      @PhilippJansen 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Now I received an answer from PGYTECH: Their Snaplock system is not compatible with Peak Designs Capture clip. So you would have to get PGYTECH‘s beetle clip instead of the capture clip.

    Can it be mounted on a hat/cap to support a camera?

    • @PhillipSkraba
      @PhillipSkraba  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you make a hole Kevin 😂 To support a GoPro it's quite hard as it's heavy, so the head mount from GoPro is coo, for the Insta360 GO 2, the hat clip works great!

    Very nice opening, very smooth n cinematic….nice work with audio effects mix. Hey question for you Im currently on BH Photo ordering up spare props for my mini 2 and I see this hot sexy cute little cube camera coming out Panasonic Lumix BS1H Full-Frame Box Style Live & Cinema Cam, this thing looks incredible for price point! Do you know anything about this camera? Perhaps, can get hands on one for a review?
    Thanks in advance Phillip! Been bit busy at work past few weeks finally little break to catch up on your videos…..could see this paired with the Meike 50 mm T2.1 Ff-Prime Cine Lens… can see this little beauty cruising the skies on future Octacopter looking at.

  • @shanereighard421
    @shanereighard421 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Is there any wiggle when the adapter is locked in? I had a similiar system but it allowed slight movements and made composites with changing camera settings a bit difficult.

    Wonder how it compares to the Ulanzi Falcam system, they look very similar. I'm using the Falcam system for about 6 months now and overall it's great, except when the plate doesn't want to go out easily from the mount.

    • @PhillipSkraba

    • @PhillipSkraba
      @PhillipSkraba  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have some of that system here - th-cam.com/video/EowX5PaTIn8/w-d-xo.html It's a good one, and both work fine, it really depends on which one you prefer. I tend to use the Snaplock a lot, it just seems really nicely polish, attention to detail kind of thing, makes me happy to wear it.
