Here we are in April 2023, and I think the idea of commemorating a structure, building or home is as relevant as ever. During the pandemic many people changed jobs and homes. This is a great size project that anyone can manage. Thanks for the inspiration.
Well here it is 2024. You made a wonderful quilt. at first i was confused. why is she putting strips of fabric across different areas of this beautiful piece of work. i kept watch😊ing. more confusion.lol. then it started to make sense. more watching. then the beauty camera through. grass, beads, beautiful flower, fence posts, and the schoohouse, the beauty of that building and the quilting that went into it made me sit with my mouth open. the entire quilt is something to behold and im so happy i got to witness the work you put into it even though it is 4 years old nooow. thank you so much 😊
Thank you for this refreshing look at fiber landscapes. Was pleasantly surprised how this all came together in a beautiful artistic scene; especially starting with multiple, varying strips of muted fabric. ❤️ this tutorial- thank you.
I am so in awe with the ease with which you use so many materials and textures to creates such a raw but delicate piece. Such an inspiration. Thank you, I learned so much from this class.
Thank you! I am just now deciding to start art quilting and your project was just what I was looking for. So generous of you to share. I'll be sure to send you a pic when I am done my first one.
This was just what I was looking for! Thank you for taking the time to be so thorough, demonstrating and explaining each step. It has answered many questions I've had about art quilts and fabric collage. Love this!!! 👍🏽
This is very inspiring video ... now I am absolutely motivated to follow you advices and start my own quilt that kind. Thank you so much for sharing the process and all your explanations.

Wow, what great techniques. I hope you are proud of these wonderful pieces of art. Thank you so much for sharing your art. I can’t wait to try your techniques in my art quilts.
How timely was this. Your work is beautiful and I appreciate the tips. My friend had a summer cottage which unfortunately burned down this past spring. Although the insurance company is replacing everything, the original cottage contained a lifetime of antique collecting, decorative crafts, Antique furniture. There was even an enamel wood burning stove. All gone. Her daughter sent me a perfect photograph. It looks fairly simple, which will be good if I can keep it like that. Wish me luck. Thanks so much for sharing your talent and knowledge. Please take care and hugs from Winnipeg!!
Wow Jackie! This is really cool! Thanks for taking the time to share your techniques in this tutorial! I love landscape quilts and have wanted to make some of my own. Your video gives me confidence to try designing one of my own.

This is such a beautiful piece! Thank you for sharing this video. One question I have is how the pieces you added on the backside work as a hanging mechanism. I am very new to quilting. Thank you!!
The project is very nice but it is very bad to have to pay 13,000 Colombian pesos just to get the mold. But hey, I already bought it since what else can be done.

I agree.
Как много сменили работу, потому что потеряли дом и близких из-за войны, и это уже после пандемии. Строить дома это самое мирное, что можно придумать.

I use different ways to hang these but I use dowel or wooden stick to make the top edge firm. And the use hanging hardware. Good luck
