How can one be married and be celibate? Celibacy means you never have sex. In most cases celibate people take a vow to never get married (they marry the catholic church). Monks, nuns and catholic priests are celibate because they took a vow to say virgins their whole lives.
Chastity is the word he should of used. Chastity means your saving yourself for marriage.

Thank you!! I was discussing this with my close friend and she didn’t really agree. I told her if you start building certain sex habits at a young age, it becomes your norm and you’ll be addicted to it, without knowing. It will be harder and longer to break, if you don’t acknowledge this.
