My daughter in an INFJ Electrical Engineer doing her masters. Very well suited to engineering. Don't let a personality test, horoscope, IQ, EQ define you.❤
Yes! I am a mechanical engineer, electronic engineer and have a master in mechanical engineering. I am INFJ too. I think that engineering is a good place and career to serve and heal people, to make a better place. Of course it is sometimes too cold and rigid but on the other side there are people who make things, machines, devices! That is the important thing: the people!
I feel that it is just better suited to certain personalities. Some jobs are easier to do with some personalities others aren't. At least I think that's what that means.
"there are no cars as INFJs aren't suited to careers in engineering so everyone is using the roads as one big sidewalk"...anybody else as confused by this line as I am? No reason why an INFJ wouldn't be suited to engineering or wouldn't drive places just because the other personalities are gone.
I feel like I have to push back against some of these notions. INFJs have Ti (introverted thinking) as a third, but valued, cognitive function, and this means that we like to see how things fit together, and the "internal logic" of systems. Combined with our Introverted intuition, we can absolutely become adept engineers and programmers; we're just not going to go about it in the same way as other types, and it might admittedly take longer for us to get there. I would also hope that a world of INFJs would have snacks/food/entertainment, because with our inferior function being Se, in moments of stress we can overindulge in sensory pleasures, like junk food and loud music. I don't think convenience stores are going anywhere. I think the biggest thing I would like to say is that INFJs are always looking for ways to improve themselves, if we're not moving forwards in our evolution, we feel like we're falling apart from stagnation. So if there was a problem with emergency medicine not being "up to scratch", I would like to think that INFJs would try to fix that; not just let it go... We're all about harmony and fixing things, but not only emotional or psychological things, we're equally interested in fixing and improving physical things and systems. While our mind "runs" on intuition, our feeling and thinking "systems" are Quite balanced, and the intellectual and scientific side of the INFJ is often overlooked. We're not "ruled by emotion", like ENFJs or INFPs might be (having Fe and Fi as dominant functions) and we can be quite cold and systematic when we have to be. So while this is a neat idea, and there are certainly some things that I agree with, I don't think the INFJ type was very well represented here as whole unfortunately. :/ EDIT: in the spirit of fixing things, I fixed some typos

This is so cute and cozy! I’m an INFJ, at least from the tests I’ve taken over the last decade and a half or so. I gravitated toward psychology first, but eventually worked toward an ecological engineering degree (yup, it’s a thing, and totally cool!). Nearly halfway through nursing school now, I do find it more fulfilling to work on care plans and analyze everything that might help the patient as a whole. But equally, am I duty-bound to do all in my power to understand somebody if it means helping or being supportive for them? (Yes probably!). I wholly agree with your idea that we would eventually identify sub-types. I wonder though, as infj's, would we just acknowledge the letters are for identification purposes and therefore be less concerned with any potential hierarchical emergence? Thanks for the great comment!
I love the message that came out here! Showing how some might seem better than others but in reality everyone has an important role to make much more fun and peace in their lives, to bring more colour and beauty around ^^
@@Psych2go ooo the last time I checked, I was an ENTP, when watching the video I love how you can see their strengths and weaknesses, the proof that different people make beautiful changes in different ways ^^, the fact that INJFJ's also agree with having more personalities around and their insight view of it is very considerate and understanding of them! I love seeing it all being peaceful even though debates could happen ^^
What I love about this is that it isn't a utopia. Because a world where everyone is of a similar mind is going to have colossal blind spots. Honestly I think it'd be worse than this. People would be too busy in their own heads for much of anything to be achieved. Takes all sorts to make this world run. A lot of INFJ media is a little pretentious & full of itself. I say this as an INFJ myself. So its nice to have something a little realistic. Look how oh so evolved & higher minded we are guys lol.
As an INTJ, the idea of a world ruled by INFJs both intrigues and terrifies me. On the one hand, there's going to be so much freedom for philosophical discussion, Which means I get to enjoy sharing my ideas with people who would be interested in them and who are likely to understand what I mean. On the other hand, the would feel incredibly quiet, almost empty, to the point that it starts to feel uncomfortable and unnatural. Also, while minimalism can be a good thing, complacency kills. There are things that people CAN'T do without, like entertainment, medicine, technology, among other such things.
It started off sounding nice to me, but then I ended up being scared of this reality. My entire social life is with online friends(who I do love and appreciate with every fiber of my being, having this lack of a social life wasn't on purpose lol), so not being able to talk with them would kinda crush me. I dunno, that's just me lol
It was interesting how, socially, humanity was brought back to the early 1900's; less travel, more staying in place and focusing on community based relations.
@@patt3rs358 Yeah, it really is something. Though I do still think the diversity we have today with technology is a good thing, we just need to figure out how to use it properly. And who knows? Maybe due to how human nature makes everyone naturally pretty curious and inventive, even with a world full of INFJs, we'd end up evolving back to where we started off before the lack of everyone else, it's an interesting thought to me
Oh I hope you do every personality! This just highlights that INFJ's (or any other type) is not the best type. We need each other for balance and to learn from. Edit: I'm an INFJ
Nice video I'm currently preparing for a test. I don't have a very good relationship with my mom however she helps me by making study notes. I feel like it's wrong but she insists making them saying that she only saves time. I feel like my family only try to make their reputation look good. They aren't worried about fixing thing wrong in our family.
I would thank my Mum, smash the test & then sit down to discuss larger family issues after, if she's willing. She'll possibly be more receptive that way. Good luck! 💜
As an INFJ in engineering, that statement gave me an existential crisis of sorts... Apart from that, very cute video as usual! Edit : Thanks for the responses guys, I'd just like to clarify that I am not contemplating my life decisions here. 😅 I understand that personality types aren't strict templates. My statement here was in a humorous tone, but hey, that is what the limitation of texts is, hence INFJs would rightly eliminate mobile phone when they come to power... 🤣
You don’t need to have existential crisis. Tertiary Ti is strong enough in many INFJs (including the ones in engineering). I get and appreciate the overall message of this video but it’s based on the premise of INFJs having very low TI, which isn’t invariably the case. Some INFJs are very logical and mechanically scientific.
I am an INFJ with an engineering career. I initially started working on a philosophy degree, but switched over to mechanical engineering. To me, it is just understanding the world better to be able to make the biggest impact. I am also not limited by just only doing engineering.
@@Ghost_of_the_MountainI agree tottally , I think psychology could have suited me, but I picked biochemistry ingeneering, because I thought It would allow me to impact my sorroundings in very different ways. Plus I love science even if it takes more effort to me personally
To clarify, no person should ever feel that they're in the wrong profession because of a personality test. No person should ever feel forced to fit into a cookie cutter definition of their MBTI personality and pursue whatever it is they want! :)
The video is an accurate description of the hidden impulse that we as INFJs feel about how the world ought to be. There are a lot of conversation that we internally carry on within ourselves about the world's needs (mostly in abstract). This is why I found the last part of the video most meaningful - the reminder that diversity is always beautiful and necessary. It's also something of a wake-up call that we cannot have all things good and beautiful solely with our thoughts, meaning making and interpretation of the abstracts.
Why would we be bad at engineering. I'm an infj, I draw cars and planes when I'm bored, or car a plane parts, new engine ideas, new differential type. I've worked on rotary engines a lot as well. I'm also very good at making quick decisions and I haven't really felt stress before. My neuroticism score on the big five test is just 5%
why do i struggle so much to find my real personally type, i have pretty much every trait of an infj but also a lot of all the others traits, i don’t understand myself and i tried years to explain myself, ununderstandment mode activated 😅
“one big sidewalk” i was daydreaming throughout this whole video. i’m an infj, and feel like the world wasn’t made for me (ex: the lack of consideration many people have towards the earth by using one-use plastic items), but i always tell myself that i will change the norms & approach every situation with gentleness-the most infj thing to do on earth
I'm all for making the world a better, healthier place but I need my tech, my communication, the exciting flavours of food that may or may not be good for me. At first it sounded like a good idea (not a great idea) but towards the end I was just "nope. Keep the world as it is. I will stick it out"
As an INFJ-A, yeah I agree. That world is bleak and one note, almost robotic, and paints all INFJ's as basic bitch hippies. I'm gunning for an engineer career, have been an electrician, and learned how a nuclear reactor works for fun. INFJ's aren't all for regressing tech to, "let things heal," especially since there are solutions that both help the world heal and still allow us to progress
INFJ love new technology, they are not always prefer medieval days, and also care about physical health as equal as mental. I guess all MBTI types have something good to add to the world only if they know exactly who they are and where they stand the most to succeed the best. -Speaking as INFJ myself😊❤
If everyone was the same (regardless of personality type) Life would be stale, and everyone would agree with everyone so nothing would get done. The world thrives on conflicting ideas.
Hi there! INFJ Nurse here! :) I find the video to be really accurate! There are a few things I would add in a world of INFJs! + I think workplace environments would be a lot less stressful, though overall productivity would take a hit. People needing more time to recharge their batteries would result in shorter work hours, but the work force would be better rested, less stressed, and less prone to burnout. Shorter hours would mean overall less work is done, but with a reliable and well-treated workforce, employees would be more consistent. With a more local focus, the population would be less funneled towards one or two places and have more variety, reducing strain on any one particular place. + Emergency medicine isn't impossible in the era of the INFJ, but shorter work hours would be essential to allow for clearer mindsets. INFJs would work emergency medicine with each patient's best interests in mind. Decisions would be team-based rather than hierarchical, and a greater number of workers would be needed to take the strain off of a very busy floor (fewer patients per nurse & doctor). We may not be the best at making quick decisions, but together we can make good ones, and having more minds mean more avenues of thought being considered at once. + Law breaking would likely be a rarer occurrence. With people's needs and desires being more accounted for, and advocacy for change in full swing, more people would feel recognized and policy change would result in greater equality and more equal socioeconomic standing. Decreased stress and increased empathy would result in more widespread care and crime would be less frequent. Police would likely be trained in handling domestic matters in mental health crises and other interventions. Firefighters and paramedics would still exist, though likely with a more local focus and greater emphasis on a team effort. + Feel free to add other thoughts. These were just some ideas in my head! Thank you for reading, you are amazing, and have a wonderful day! ^_^
I really like your videos and I find them helpful at times. Just before I wrote this I subscribed. I am just saying I have watched your videos in the past and they have helped me with my crush. I would really like it if you made another video about something like making your crush think you like them. Making my crush think I like her will make me feel better because she might talk to me more. I ❤ your channel can’t wait for the next video!
As an INFJ, this video helps me understand why this type is so rare. It’s almost like the other types function in a way so the INFJ doesn’t have to? I mean, just for example, has INFJ ever been the head of state, President, or Queen/King? Makes me wonder. 🧐I think an ambivert INFJ might be up for it, but in general there are a lot of requirements that would make most INFJs just lose interest. Like going to parties, meetings, more parties, public speaking, campaigning, you name it! 🫣It would be fun to see a video that shows what life is like with an INFJ president/king/queen. 😂😮💨
I'm not convinced things would be as dire as emergency medical or fire services not being available - INFJs may find it more difficult to meet the skillsets and mentalities needed for those careers, but that isn't to say that their desire to make the world a better place for all wouldn't mean that some would not sacrifice of themselves in order to ensure those needs are met for others. I think it's a very simplistic view of people to believe they can't find a way around their challenges in order to be their strongest and most versatile self. Admittedly, I'm an INFP(T), so it may be a case of me being similar enough in some ways, and too different in others, to see how a world run by INFJs could get into that kind of mess.
Also, can you guys make more videos on other types? Like the ISFJ or hell any sensor, included the other intuitives. I also would like the use of functions when discussing traits
I'm an INFJ. Everything is true what you said about us. I love this videos. And nowdays I fight for myself everytime because of my personality. I feel lonely to myself everytime. And I think everybody hate me. But I Always take care of everybody😭. Being an INFJ is very very hard.
I'm an infj and I think every other personality is as important. I don't want a world ruled by just infj but I do wish a better world for us. I want a more balanced world. Ofc I don't want to lose technology or public transportation but I want them to be greener for the planet. I think if we work hard we can have it all and still protect and care for the planet and people in it..
As an INFJ, you lost me in the middle, What's with all that scary dis organization!? How one sided do you think people are, I must be some kind of hybrid because no, I'm not even bad at administration. 😮💨 Honestly I believe that having that emotional harmony makes us function better with less burnout issues. I get a lot done functionally when I can find a peaceful space with no conflict.
They should really label this in video as opinionated biased nonsense lol People will actually believe this oddly wrong AF stereotype portrayed in this video...
An INTJ only world would implode on itself without external threats, plus not everyone can be a leader-type. We need a goal to strive towards, conflicts to win in.
Im an INFJ and agree with this video. As some people have mentioned, there probably would be global leaders, scientists, and most of all, convenience store, because some people are interested in those fields, but I agree, and think most of us would find peace as a global necessity.
Just from reading the title I thought of pretty much the same scenario. I didn't think of the loss of emergency medical services but it fits with the rest quite well.
As someone who is part of this trade, I'm not happy being one. I understand my actions better, but this won't stop me from feeling out of place no matter what the situation. I understand people better and yet i don't use my knowledge to be more open to others.
I'm an INFJ....or I was I.....I don't feel that sympathy anymore I used to cry when I see people cry or cry even more than them...why am I losing empathy or sympathy!....I feel like I'm growing cold...
This was a very eye-opening and thought-provoking video to watch but made me think if each of the personality types got such a video to better understand their strengths and weaknesses better it would be great!

I wholly agree with your idea that we would eventually identify sub-types. I wonder though, as infj's, would we just acknowledge the letters are for identification purposes and therefore be less concerned with any potential hierarchical emergence?
Thanks for the great comment!

"INFJ's aren't suited to a career in engineering"
Me, an INFJ studying engineering 👀
I love the message that came out here! Showing how some might seem better than others but in reality everyone has an important role to make much more fun and peace in their lives, to bring more colour and beauty around ^^
Yes. Ultimately, diversity is a strength! What's your personality type? How do you feel about INFJs and their portrayal in this video?
@@Psych2go ooo the last time I checked, I was an ENTP, when watching the video I love how you can see their strengths and weaknesses, the proof that different people make beautiful changes in different ways ^^, the fact that INJFJ's also agree with having more personalities around and their insight view of it is very considerate and understanding of them! I love seeing it all being peaceful even though debates could happen ^^
There'll also be fewer children. As an empath, I don't want to have kids cause I don't want to put another person through this.
I’m an INTJ too🤝MBTI is literally horoscopes for smart people
As an INFJ i agree one because it feels good knowing you are one of a kind as a person
now i need an entp version of this, the world would die☠☠☠
Wow I need to see that
im betting everyone would have their own land and debate for it day and night 😅
The only way this could happen is if the INTJ's used them as cover for their own plans.
as an INTJ, I think we would help with all of the decision making, whilst enjoying the peaceful world INFJ's created.
I’m an INTJ aswell, and I can say if we ruled the world everything would be incredibly efficient but we’d all be egotistical out of control idiots
INTJ as well, i agree dylan, except ego should not play a role in the function of society.
I need an INTJ in my life. We could change the world together
@@PlayshotKalo I'm already on my way to change the world
Nice video I'm currently preparing for a test. I don't have a very good relationship with my mom however she helps me by making study notes. I feel like it's wrong but she insists making them saying that she only saves time. I feel like my family only try to make their reputation look good. They aren't worried about fixing thing wrong in our family.
Believe me if your mom helps you study, she cares, just say how you feel
@@fable_enthusiastdat true
I would thank my Mum, smash the test & then sit down to discuss larger family issues after, if she's willing. She'll possibly be more receptive that way. Good luck! 💜
As an INFJ in engineering, that statement gave me an existential crisis of sorts... Apart from that, very cute video as usual!
Edit : Thanks for the responses guys, I'd just like to clarify that I am not contemplating my life decisions here. 😅
I understand that personality types aren't strict templates.
0:30 when rare becomes ordinary
1:17 the earth
2:16 no time 4 fun
2:56 critical care
3:43illusion
4:30- cy sleeps
I'm an INFJ and I feel like we are becoming more ordinary. I started noticing more INFJ people. Are we really that rare?
I actually found this entertaining and funny, love the video, keep going (but take your time) ❤
This should be a series, with you doing a video like this for each personality type
Very interesting video! Great idea! I would love to see it with more types!
As someone who is not an infj i would freak out
I am an INFJ myself, and I can relate to this video
“one big sidewalk” i was daydreaming throughout this whole video. i’m an infj, and feel like the world wasn’t made for me (ex: the lack of consideration many people have towards the earth by using one-use plastic items), but i always tell myself that i will change the norms & approach every situation with gentleness-the most infj thing to do on earth
Bro my phone is melting because of such a hot take.
I know this is just a joke but LMFAO
This was cute! I’d love to see a similar breakdown of what the world would look like with all the MBTI types in this style.
If everyone was the same (regardless of personality type) Life would be stale, and everyone would agree with everyone so nothing would get done. The world thrives on conflicting ideas.
I think the world would be a better place if everyone was INFJ than if everyone was ESFP.
I would love to see a video of ESTP vs INFJ relationships, would be very interesting to see
that makes me realize im almost the exact opposite of an INFJ, im ISTP
You should do a video with if the world were run by INTJs, they'd make the world safe healthy, advanced and efficient
As far I remember one 'famous aquarelle painter' was INFJ and he ruling the world is the worst vision I can imagine. xD
I discovered I am INFJ 2 days ago and I'm liking it :)
Hi there! INFJ Nurse here! :)
I find the video to be really accurate!
I'm an INFJ and this is soo accurate!!
As an Infj, this made me feel uncomfortable.
I ❤ your channel can’t wait for the next video!
discovered i was an infj minutes before watching this video and after it it gave me so much peace imagining a world like that
As an INFJ in STEM I have to disagree with the technological advancements disappearing lol
Can you do one for each of the personality types I really enjoyed this one
I’m an INFJ! I’m an advocate
This video is amazing
In that kind of world may die very soon, but at least we’d still have each other right?
1:23 "INFJ'S aren't suited to a career in engineering"
Meanwhile me who has a degree in engineering: 🥴
I feel so exposed
I’m an INTJ and if everyone was like me we’d have a very very large problem
We can take care of each other, and move schools and work to later in the day when we cant sleep.
Can you do this about all Myers Briggs personality types? It would be super interesting:DD
this
As an INFJ, yes, YES
Also, Fe means they would be entirely willing to make those sacrifices, as long as it didn’t clash with their Ni goal
Also, can you guys make more videos on other types? Like the ISFJ or hell any sensor, included the other intuitives. I also would like the use of functions when discussing traits
Exactly
I'm an INFJ. Everything is true what you said about us. I love this videos. And nowdays I fight for myself everytime because of my personality. I feel lonely to myself everytime. And I think everybody hate me. But I Always take care of everybody😭. Being an INFJ is very very hard.
I loveeee the lofi aesthetics of this video. The music, the visuals, the voiceover. It feels like home.
Honestly I believe that having that emotional harmony makes us function better with less burnout issues. I get a lot done functionally when I can find a peaceful space with no conflict.
They should really label this in video as opinionated biased nonsense lol
People will actually believe this oddly wrong AF stereotype portrayed in this video...
I would love to see a series based off all the personality types specifically INTJ's but thats probably just a personal preference
An INTJ only world would implode on itself without external threats, plus not everyone can be a leader-type. We need a goal to strive towards, conflicts to win in.
So a world with only INTJs probably wouldn't work, but a society could
I would like to see the same video but with the others 15 personalities please!
It would be interesting to see the difference.
Im an INFJ and agree with this video. As some people have mentioned, there probably would be global leaders, scientists, and most of all, convenience store, because some people are interested in those fields, but I agree, and think most of us would find peace as a global necessity.
What an absolutely beautiful video. Thank you

Just from reading the title I thought of pretty much the same scenario. I didn't think of the loss of emergency medical services but it fits with the rest quite well.

You really have many interesting videos thank you❤❤❤
Could you please make "rule the world" videos like that one with other personalities?🤩
This is truly the best channel
i love the new story format of the videos so much. the listicle one was getting a bit exhausting to watch
This is rather ridiculous. Probably written by an ESFP

I agree that this video is ridiculous, but you criticized the ESFP type for no reason.
As someone who is part of this trade, I'm not happy being one. I understand my actions better, but this won't stop me from feeling out of place no matter what the situation. I understand people better and yet i don't use my knowledge to be more open to others.
I like how Cy was basically just living in a different world like it was nothing
I dont think i will like a word without energy, tecgnology, advancement and i'm INFJ.🤔
I wonder if they will do this concept for the other personalities too. Am very curious how the scenorio changes with each one.
💛 I needed this
