The Combo/Milky story did reach its climax in the end, you just have to listen to the conversation and watch the earlier episodes. When Lol told everyone that Combo was innocent and that he has changed, Milky was the only one who wasn't convinced that Combo had changed his ways. He didn't want a "racist", in the same building as his "black daughter." So, from the moment he woke up in his hospital bed to the moment he sat down with Combo to have a cup of tea, he was naturally convinced that Combo was still a racist and is someone who could never change his ways. In the end, Combo was actually sincere with his words and whatever punishment Combo was going to get, then he had already pardonned Milky for his future actions. This makes Combo a better person than Milky and this is why we see Milky crying at the end when his guys took Combo away. If he had thought Combo hadn't changed, he wouldn't have batted an eyelid, but after what Combo said, he knew it was too late to do anything and this is why you see Milky in tears, he had no say in the matter.
Does many one know if there’s anymore of this excellent drama ! I’m a Canadian love British drama ! Does this series end at episode 4 , or can I find more episodes , thanks
After watching all of this is England it would have been better if combo killed milky. Back stabbing friend, deadbeat dad and Woody forgave him ( and helped raise his kid) but not willing to do the same for a man who went to jail for the mother of his child then has other people kill him without even attempting to do it himself. Gutless , The real snake in the grass right there.
What Combo did angered not just Milky but enraged his family and it wasn't just assault, it was a hate crime on his part. I didn't want Combo to die but you can't exactly say Milky and his family weren't justified either. One way or another what goes around, comes around. By handing Combo over to his death, Milky is now in Combo's shoes by having to live with the guilt of letting hatred and revenge consume him.
Real difference from having an affair to literally killing someone to death. Not saying that Milky is a saint, but I can understand why he needed to do that. I feel like he regrets it thought.
this was a good series and i enjoyed it quite a lot.. i have a question maybe someone could answer? who were the white guys milkys friends delivered combo too? not sure what they had to do with that whole story arc.
They are guys who combo knows in his past, probably of the national front, we see combo dont was alone in the movie he had so much many mates and sure they want kill him for giving his back in the past
Remember what Woody said.. forgiveness. Harvey once or a few times apologized for his verbal abuse to gadget...and others..he knows he's wrong. He doesn't mean it . Forgiveness is good thing mate.
Everyone saying Milky is evil completely missed the point of the entire series. Forgiveness is amazing, if you can manage it, but sometimes there are still consequences for our actions. Milky’s consequence will be that his relationship to Woody and Lol will be permanently effected, possibly never to be fully repaired. He’ll always live with the guilt, it will eat him alive. There are consequences even when there’s forgiveness. There’s no need to hate Milky.
still its hypocrital he wanted woody to forgive him after he shagged his girl countless times, and didn't even tell him woody only found out after Lol gave birth to a child that obviously wasn't his, you might not agree to this but imo what milky has done is arguably worse than what combo has done because lets look at it that way, milky chose to hang out with someone who clearly was a racist and used him as a punching bag for years and he still agreed to hang out with him and he found out what it was like how hanging with someone who doesn't like anyone but his own kind might not end well now what milky has done, he went behind his childhoods best friend behind his back, and shagged lol countless times, even when woody cried to him because how distressed he was over how lol was acting he didn't even go admit it to him, he didn't plan on telling him and woody only found out when lol gave birth to milkys child Hanging out with an enemy is not worse than betraying your best friend, someone that considers you as their own brother and even then milky went too far in his revenge, don't accept his forgiveness thats understood, make your friends beat the shit out of him half to death, but murder isn't the right revenge for someone who hasn't killed someone dear to you and imma mention this combo gave away around 4-6 years of his life and never got his friends in trouble when he could've when he didn't get woody in trouble after the first time he got arrested and took the fall for lol
@@homersimpson6585also lol being the mother of his child, and if combo hadn’t went to jail for her, she would have still gave birth to Milkys baby in prison and she and woody wouldn’t have rekindled their relationship. Me and my husband just finished the series yesterday and milky truly is a snake in the grass. Helping Combo out and giving him a place to stay after serving time for her, lol felt like she was giving back something to him that he lost going to jail for her. That’s why her and woody were adamant he was staying with them. Just like you said, in the long run, combo did what he did to him so long ago on one night and he didn’t even know him. Milky long term fucked woody, his best friend and was barely even sorry for it. Then upon hearing what combo did for lol and how’s he changed, even Shaun points out. Him being a child who literally witnessed the brutality. All I know is we started off liking milky in the first movie and by the time it ended, we’re done with him. Just seeing combo happy and feeling like he’s truly making a difference with his life kills me every time. Makes you feel like you can fuck up in the world and there is truly no forgiveness no matter how hard you try. Mick was worst than combo and milky wouldn’t have done a damn thing about it. Which clearly showed when mick grabbed lol by her neck at the apartment. His own hate made him disgusting, and he was the biggest coward, couldn’t even give combo the decency of beating him; himself.
@@homersimpson6585 Milky seemed pretty torn up that he actually went through with it.. Seems like he wouldn't be able to tell his family no either way.

@@coldsake07 I honestly don't understand how you formed your opinion. The humorous bits are still there, with Woody's parent's monumental lameness and Flip and Higgy's occasional appearances. And when they're not fighting with each other, Harvey and Gadget still have some funny banter together. Even that bit at the end between Shaun, Smell, and Harrison was pretty hilarious, where they easily could have played it heavy and confrontational like Shaun's first meeting with Harrison. I think this show, and the film before it maintained a near-perfect balance between jarring drama and light-hearted humour from start to finish.

Well turns out that accounting for everything that's happened in the series from the very beginning, Milky is the biggest POS out of all. Surprise, surprise...
I've rewatched this show from time to time over the last 5 years, and I still can't decide who it was that Milky's relatives handed Combo over to for execution. I'd always assumed by their appearance, that they were former associates of his back when he was a white nationalist. But now I'm thinking back to Mick in the '86 series, and if I'm not mistaken, I believe at some point in a confrontation with Lol he threatened that he knew people who were affiliated with organized crime. But if that was the case, and these guys were just going to kill Combo as revenge for supposedly killing Mick, then why would they intersperse video and audio clips of the National Front between Combo being carried off to his death, as though to infer that racism is ultimately what led him to his fate? I'm fence-sitting on this one, someone else please give their input.
@@hanswurst3060 I really don't think so. Combo was calm in the van partly because he thought that they'd just beat the shit out of him; it's not until he sees the (probably) National Front guys he starts to panic and beg for his life. He clearly knows who they are and that they're there to kill him, probably for something from his old NF days. Milky's connections just handed him over knowing what would happen.
personally I think there is no good in-universe explanation, and the creators just didn't want to create a "black people lynching a white man" scene. this could suggest unwanted conclusions - the viewer could think "well, apparently Combo as the racist was kind of right all along - yes, he beated Milky up, but apologized, reformed himself, and they murdered him anyway, what a savage reaction" so they avoided it by adding this extra step, which isn't really accounted for in the narrative, and neither does it naturally flow from the story. the National Front clips are just more sand thrown in the viewers' eyes. it's just to divert our attention from an unwanted interpretation.
It's not relevant who they are. All they are is paid hitmen. Obviously Milkys family don't want to be involved/associated with his death so they hand him over to them to finish the job.
"...now we are scarcely allowed to mention the word (Englishman)..." This is supposedly set in 1990...? Man, if they knew how it was going to get by 2023...

I'd say he is a pretty big deal in the UK, but doesn't quite get the kudos he deserves (in my opinion).
Won't cry tought - HxC * Saludos :) - Si gracias por update :) enjoy With Subtítulos. 📀

Milky was always a snake in the grass
Milky, ends up being the bad guy
This England 2000 is posible? (The Combo's revenge xddd)
Is there more to this amazing tale , because the Milk and Combo thing leaves a bad taste in the mouth, which really cannot be glossed over .
The Combo/Milky story did reach its climax in the end, you just have to listen to the conversation and watch the earlier episodes. When Lol told everyone that Combo was innocent and that he has changed, Milky was the only one who wasn't convinced that Combo had changed his ways. He didn't want a "racist", in the same building as his "black daughter."
So, from the moment he woke up in his hospital bed to the moment he sat down with Combo to have a cup of tea, he was naturally convinced that Combo was still a racist and is someone who could never change his ways.
@@hitchensrazor5450 I think he did have a say in what would happen next he was just a selfish coward.
An interesting thing too was combo says his hatred for him back then was from jealousy over milk having a functional family.
Does many one know if there’s anymore of this excellent drama ! I’m a Canadian love British drama ! Does this series end at episode 4 , or can I find more episodes , thanks
That's it bud
After watching all of this is England it would have been better if combo killed milky. Back stabbing friend, deadbeat dad and Woody forgave him ( and helped raise his kid) but not willing to do the same for a man who went to jail for the mother of his child then has other people kill him without even attempting to do it himself. Gutless , The real snake in the grass right there.
milky didnt want combo to die, but the decisions he made while angry couldnt be taken back, and he has to deal with that now
@Shirt Flames what do you mean
What Combo did angered not just Milky but enraged his family and it wasn't just assault, it was a hate crime on his part. I didn't want Combo to die but you can't exactly say Milky and his family weren't justified either. One way or another what goes around, comes around. By handing Combo over to his death, Milky is now in Combo's shoes by having to live with the guilt of letting hatred and revenge consume him.
Real difference from having an affair to literally killing someone to death. Not saying that Milky is a saint, but I can understand why he needed to do that. I feel like he regrets it thought.
I guess I'm the little boy blinking at 51:00..like what did you expect
So I guess it turns out Smell is just weird and jealous 😂😂😂
Didnt she make out with a child? Ofc she is weird
@@DH702.. no kidding ... If it was a older guy with a young girl it be a major no. .... But either way it's a major fuckn no.
this was a good series and i enjoyed it quite a lot.. i have a question maybe someone could answer? who were the white guys milkys friends delivered combo too? not sure what they had to do with that whole story arc.
Paid hitmen, not relevant except to give a definitive idea of what's going to happen to Combo
You cannot damn near destroy someone and then tell them how to feel about it.
En This is England 86 odiamos a Lol. En This is England 90 odiamos a Kelly.
I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't feel bad for Combo.
W R O N G
Do you really think he had Combo killed? Severely bashed up yes…killed ? I don’t think so. There must surely be a sequel
still its hypocrital he wanted woody to forgive him after he shagged his girl countless times, and didn't even tell him woody only found out after Lol gave birth to a child that obviously wasn't his, you might not agree to this but imo what milky has done is arguably worse than what combo has done
because lets look at it that way, milky chose to hang out with someone who clearly was a racist and used him as a punching bag for years and he still agreed to hang out with him and he found out what it was like how hanging with someone who doesn't like anyone but his own kind might not end well
now what milky has done, he went behind his childhoods best friend behind his back, and shagged lol countless times, even when woody cried to him because how distressed he was over how lol was acting he didn't even go admit it to him, he didn't plan on telling him and woody only found out when lol gave birth to milkys child
Hanging out with an enemy is not worse than betraying your best friend, someone that considers you as their own brother
and even then milky went too far in his revenge, don't accept his forgiveness thats understood, make your friends beat the shit out of him half to death, but murder isn't the right revenge for someone who hasn't killed someone dear to you
and imma mention this combo gave away around 4-6 years of his life and never got his friends in trouble when he could've when he didn't get woody in trouble after the first time he got arrested and took the fall for lol
Seems like he wouldn't be able to tell his family no either way.
what are your ideas what happenned to Combo?
RIP Gavin Clark
Oi! Cheers from America
so , doing heroine is a junkie but takin lots of pills and speed it aint😂😂😂what a hypocrisy....ive been through all this and i know exactly what im sayin
I couldn't hear in the beginning, what did Lol ask Trev to do?
Gracias 🖤🖤🖤🖤
❤
milk es la serpiente en el jardin :(
Is there any talk of future episodes ?
This is England 2000 is apparently happening
Jenifer's fn weird
56:43 jajaj
I love how Woody really doesn't even care when his mom gets slapped LMAO, he just lets Lol deal with it
Also, that Gadget and Kelly scene was amazingly acted in how pathetic Gadge was. Shaun and Gadget both should have stomped that guy out too.
I know this is a dumb question but whatever happened to Combo?
he is dead.
Tortured to death or simply death but 100% he is not alive
Is there any info about the next season?? I think it is confirmed but couldn’t find any date.
Apparently they are waiting for actors to age so they can do one final film called This is England 00
i dont get why kelly was kicked out of the house?
she was using heroin
Por fumar plata
seriously, brillant film and series, but the ending with combo "dying" i didn't like it. Really bad choice in writing. I mean kicking his arse is one thing. And now milky that..p.o.s has to live unhappy and dead inside..smh..
Combo and Lol should have ended up together. He didn't deserve to get killed.
So when did this turn into the sad show fun ruiner?
Indeed
It was heavy from the start
@@sc885 yeah but it was also light and fun and endearing as well, Where did all that shit go?
@@coldsake07
I honestly don't understand how you formed your opinion.
@@josh420masterB The film was a perfect ballance, and dare i say a perfect film, but this show is like 90% human misery, i kept fast forwarding to find the joy and love and friendship, and i got maybe 10 whole minutes of it. Just admit, you love drowning in the blues. This show has become unbearably meloncholic. You need a natural light lamp and a nice muffin or something.
Shaun so useless in most of the scenes he's in. Just there because he was in the film.
You got it all wrong mate. The people that killed combo are just milkys family
Milky's connections just handed him over knowing what would happen.
personally I think there is no good in-universe explanation, and the creators just didn't want to create a "black people lynching a white man" scene.
this could suggest unwanted conclusions - the viewer could think "well, apparently Combo as the racist was kind of right all along - yes, he beated Milky up, but apologized, reformed himself, and they murdered him anyway, what a savage reaction"
so they avoided it by adding this extra step, which isn't really accounted for in the narrative, and neither does it naturally flow from the story.
the National Front clips are just more sand thrown in the viewers' eyes. it's just to divert our attention from an unwanted interpretation.

I'm referencing the Censorship of words, to clarify before someone froths at the mouth...
so true, UK is finished in hands of non-whites
These actors are fuckin amazing
