DUDE! Freaking BAD ASS!!!! That is an absolutely beautiful bike and totally looks like its right out of Hollywood. This is me looking at your video 😮😯😲🤯😍
That is me riding it too. With the suspension it has, she rides like a dream. This is a fun one to play on. Thanks for watching. Yes, I still have my 500x. She is way too much fun to sell.
@kevinrose7495 So glad to hear that. A few people was surprised that I sold it. I needed a bike that my girlfriend could ride with me. Then she broke up with me.
@@OzarkHillsAdventures I traded my glowing for it. It was not running. I had to put a new flywheel key in it and starter clutch. She runs great now. Fast bike.
@kevinrose7495 Oh yeah. I took that Gold Wing for a ride last week. Except for my long legs being a little cramped, I liked the way it went down the road.
@@OzarkHillsAdventures ok. You know who I got it from? I put many many miles on that wing. But vmaxes have been in my blood sense 98 when my brother got his new.
Sould it need special machenic or every yamaha machanic can repair it? i am cosidering it to buy but in my country this bike dont exist which make me worry for repair. Parts i can import but the problem is repair? Any advice? The one which i going to purchase is 2006 gen 1 model
@@OzarkHillsAdventures Thanks for reply... Another question does it feel heavy on crowded roads. Is it feel heavy and make you tired fast? Highway is far away from me mostly i will use it in my daily routine in local crowded roads.
@@ZayyanAjaz it does feel just a little heavy at slow speeds on a crowded road. But it's not terrible. Now out on the hiway, not at all. It handles good.
Well, this is not a stock V-Max. The front forks and tail piece are from a 2004 Yamaha R-6. Congratulations on your purchase. The V-Max is a beast of a bike..
To bad these are shaft drive. A Vmax engine in a yamaha warrior would be the cats ass.. the only trouble would be you need to figure out better brakes.. your max is a very good looking bike..
I hear ya about the brakes. I've owned 3 Yamaha Warriors. The front forks and brakes, on a stock V-Max is nothing to brag about either. At least I don't have that problem now. Thanks for watching..
The rear wheel looks like it might have come from a Harley Fat Boy. Since the Vmax is shaft drive, the choice of aftermarket rear wheels is very slim. You can send the factory wheels off to be widened and have the diameter increased to the tune of roughly ~ $900 per rim, you can do the 17" yamaha diversion (EU model yamaha) wheel conversion - cheapest option, you can try your luck at finding an old set of aftermarket V-Max wheels from the late 80s & 90s - either from the US or Japan typically the most expensive option, up to ~$3500 depending, Or you can buy a set of current day aftermarket V-Max wheels from Pro-drag or Carrozerria - roughly $2400-$2800 but the best performing option. The factory Vmax wheels are more akin to Harley sized wheels and there are not many radial tires that will fit the front rim and exactly 0 radial tires for a 15"x3.50" rear wheel. If you intend on keeping your V-Max primarily on the highway and just cruising with your Harley buddies - leave the wheels as they are and run quality bias-ply tires. If you intend riding more aggressively and carving up some backroads - the bigger rim and radial tire modification is a must. The improvement in handling is quite noticeable. If you can afford to swap the front forks out to an USD setup and have the frame and swingarm braced - your V-max will be able to handle like a modern sport bike.
Gorgeous beast, bikes alright too

No special mechanic needed. Any Yamaha mechanic or motorcycle mechanic can do the work. They are awesome machines.
