- TIME LAPSE BUILDING A CUSTOM V-MAX 1200 - Shoogly Shed Motors Episode 106
The final instalment of "Musashi" the 1985 Yamaha V-Max 1200 custom build!
This project started out as a quick upgrade and turn-around build but slowly evolved in to one of the most comprehensive and complicated builds I've ever completed. The inspiration was Japanese Neo-Tokyo with Samurai and Kanji details. Concept by Jon Beckett of Outlaw Creations, build and fabrication by Euan Ryan of Shoogly Shed Motors.

a work of art on two wheels, lots of talent and quality service
Just an amazingly well though out build Euan! I cant wait to see some features of this bike!
You did a lot more upgrades than me I just put ohlin forks and shocks along with an otec swing arm then jacked the wheels from a vrod and I thought I was good to go ,you got a really cool motorcycle nice work.
NOOOOO😲 PLEASE LA V-MAX NO ,NO LA DESGUACES PARA HACER UNA MIERDA🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 DE ELLA 💥😔😡
Sweet pre-work meditation. Great vid. Ballache to edit I'm sure.
Nice job Evan, been quite a journey and it's good to see the finished article out and about. I bet you picked up a few new skills along the way, well done
Looks great mate not over the top like some builds ,mine still running on 3 ,
Amazing result! Very well done my man.
Now ride i for many many miles. These bikes should be ridden!
Fantastic build and what a craftsmen! What did you use for the front end conversion? And do you use everything or a direct fit fork onto original wheel? Definitely a subscription from me.
Hey - thanks for subscribing! Check out the full playlist for this build. There's an episode entirely on the front end conversion 👍🏻
Great job Buddy - looks and sounds amazing!
Wow! Fair play looks and sounds perfect! I'm glad you sorted the electrics out. Wish my max looked that good. 👏🏻
Such an awesome and unique build. Nice job dude!
Mate! Outstanding work! So good to see real steel fabrication. When welding, wear gloves. Won't get you for another couple of years but without gloves, hands grow all sort of nasty stuff (I've been welding for 35 years) You don't want that!
Absolutely solid work there mate!!! 11/10
Amazing work!
super job super result🎉
Love the bike and the video. Quality all around!
Hats off to you my friend! JB is a lucky man to have come across such a skillfull builder. Hope he rewarded you handsomely because it must have taken you weeks and weeks in total! A job really really really well done!
Really nice job. Well done.
well done brilliant job, even nicer up close at the bike show, looking forward to seeing your own bike develop
That’s a beautiful bike right there. Well done.
Супер!!! Дякую.
Beautiful job, the skill you have, now all I have to do now is go to college for 40 years andd then do the same to my own vmax the only think i wasn't sure of was the seat, i didnt like the pattern being half under the rear part of the rear section of seat, i would rather the whole pattern was on show, still a great job.
武者修行!
Been a great journey Euan, twists n turns, ups and downs and the end result speaks for itself, Musashi V4 rips and look forward to taking to more shows dude. A great collaboration, & thanks for a great build. 😎 🙏
Great job. Love the bike
The engraving on the air intakes, how was that done?
The silver box you wired up on the side, what was that?
The engraving was done by Tony The Engraver, a very talented motorcycle engraver and casting artist.
The silver box is a NWT X21 Plus P - it's a smart electrical control module 👍🏻
Did you keep the petrol tank the same size?
That was nice have the same bike bro
Sorry.....I still favour the original version...
Sorry but I do not
@@Myfaceurassistance 😄😄 of course you dont! Lol! It is always a personal choice/ taste. I do however, admit you have been doing a damn good job....
Outstanding work.
CADe o SOM da moto ???????????????????
How much is it to do that same build
Great build. What rear wheel and size are you running on the back? Wanna go to this setup to run radials. Thanks in advance!
Very nice!
where did you buy the screws for the motor ?
They're ProBolt Titanium 👍🏻
@@ShooglyShedMotors oh nice, do you have a link ? For buy it
Hi, does anyone know from which motorbike is the rear wheel?
Custom wheel from Taylor Made Wheels
Is this for sale? Holy crap this thing is SWEET.
What was wrong with electrics? Great series.
Identified a short in the stator coils eventually! Took a long time to find the issue.
Why steel?
Hi guys. Great build. I was wondering what you did with the left hand side plastic radiator guard with reflector. Doesn't look like you used it. Mine got cracked when I got rear-ended. Long story. If available, let me know, thinks. I get ideas from you. The motors on these are so nice.
Just saw the rear tail light, any specifics on that would be appreciated.
@78_outlaw would be the person to ask!
All that work and still has shaft😅
Great job... keep it up
barvy krásné zdravím z cz.
武者修行! Nice!
Wow❤
Nice work but as a vmax owner watching you chop up a nice one made me cringe you should've found a rough one to bastardize..
It's all part of the fun!
