Problem with this faucet is handle for cold is at 3 o'clock straight forward out over dishes. Which can be an obstruction. When dishes are in sink you must use hot which is at 12 oclock straight up handle position.

Im considering this particular model just wanna know besides pull down does the faucet swivel?
Yes. The faucet swivels. I prefer this feature because I have double type of sink, so I can move it left/right for easy cleaning.
Aside from the faucet, does the deck plate have to be secured through the empty holes?
