My father in law passed on May 30 2021 and he took care of everything . Today when I had to face this water damage I didn't know what to do. I really missed him today... Thank God for people like you 🙏🙏 I appreciate the confidence you instilled in me to dominate this repair/ replacement emergency job. 💯 Keep doing what your doing bro, blessings coming your way 💰💰💰
Thank you for sharing this video. I went and had and purchased the Glacier Bay Paulina Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet with TurboSpray, FastMount, Soap Dispenser in Matte Black from Home Depot today 10/29/24. I removed my old 18-year-old Moen. My gosh I've never done yoga in my life to get rid of the old one I'm so glad that the new one is easy to installed underneath the counter
This is the 3rd one that I've watched and this is by far the most descriptive step by step of them! Thank you sir! As my papa used to say,you are super! Thank you
Thank you so much for this video. I was given this same faucet and felt overwhelmed. I feel confident that i can do this on my own now. Much appreciated!
Great camera work and explanations. 👏 My Tips are to always lay a few paper towels under the sink/connections then check back in hour/two because sometimes there's a slow leak. Also these water fittings have rubber seals so don't over tighten and always use 2 wrenches. :)
Thanks for the video. I just tightened my kitchen faucet. Never something I pictured myself doing, but it only took 10 seconds of turning and it was done!!!
just a word from my earlier days. put a dry tissue or paper towel under your water valves or plumbing connections and check the next day for a drop of water means you may have a very slow leak. beats heck out of coming back a week later and findings a wet cabinet floor
I just picked that one up at Home Depot for $40. Thank you for this video, even though I had to make a small modification under the sink your video helped out tremendously, thank you!
Thank you so much for taking time to make this video. I followed this, not the instructions and it was fairly simple and I’m in no way a handy man. Thank you again!
You can do it David! Faster and better than a pro... and of course lower cost, but the big benefit is the feeling of accomplishment on something you will use for the next 20 years! Way to go David!
Awesome! Thank you so much - for a non plumbing / mechanical person your video helped make the replacement so easy by myself! Got the matte black version which was $119USD at Home Depot!
So glad to help Pat. There is no need to hire pro's for these simple jobs. Save yourself money and time but best of all feel good that you did something yourself. Happy New Year!
Great video! Saved me a bag of cash. One trivial thing. Why does most everyone call the tank a "hot water heater"? It's a "water heater". There's no need to heat hot water.
This is great. Excellent video without any "fluff". I'm ordering one of these for my utility tub today. I need the sprayer to rinse rocks off when they are removed from the tumblers. Where I live it's too %$#*@ hot (114 F.) to rinse them outside. Many Thanks.
Thank you for this video!! I am so proud I didn’t have to call a plumber 🎉 I did have to call Pfister to ask how to UNINSTALL my old faucet. They were super helpful and I got it DONE!👏🏼💪🏼😅
Thanks for the video! My dad installed one similar to this but the faucet part kept moving back to the center when you moved it over to the other sink. Went through the video and realized my dad had wrapped the black water tube around the water lines causing the problem. Undid the black line, and readjusted it. Works perfectly!! Thanks!!
Thanks for this content. It was very helpful in prepping me for my GB faucet. I purchased a slightly different GB model but the install procedure was exactly the same.
Nice video, thank you! Will be installing mine later today. Except my access under the sink is a little tighter, but will work. Thanks for re-assuring my confidence for this project!
I appreciated your tutorial and found it simplified for people that are mentally DIY challenge. Yes, I am not only a member but the president of the club. * My question is, did you ever find out what the Allen key was for?
Thanks for the detailed instructions! I found the two ends of my deck plate not completely flush with the sink (you can see a slight gap), while the center is. Does anyone else have that issue?
How do you get the trim plate or the base to stay down? A plumber came to replace it and it didn’t lay flat so he chalked but the chalking hasn’t been done well. I wonder if he needs to tighten it better
Hi there. Thanks for this video. I noticed on the box lid on your McKenna it says in the list of items needed to install "Silicon Sealant." I have the updated McKenna II, and on the front page of manual it says needed: goggles, wrench, silicone sealant. Where would you even put the sealant? It doesn't say in the instructions anywhere, yet it says you need it to install?
Agreed Chris. You COULD add silicone around the base plate but I think you would likely make a mess of an otherwise pretty install. As shown in the video the base plate comes with a nice rubber gasket that is hidden underneath so that is all I used :)
@@URTechDotCa i’ve pretty much got my base plate as tight as can be but it still has some play. If water gets around the base plate it seeps underneath. What do you recommend?
I had to pull the head attachment off due to leaking. Cleared the line but can't recall how to put both orange pieces back on correctly. The manual doesn't explain how. Advise with photos or a video?
How do you unsnap the water line? Mine is currently already snapped, so I am unable to fit the whole thing through the single hole. The washer to tighten it down is supposed to be under the counter, and I can't get it through the hole without unsnapping that black water hose.
Thank you for a very informative video. Question: Will I be able to do this same installation on a system that only has 1 cold pipe line (no hot water line)?
Just a FYI. at the end of the video I noticed the weight was just below the hot water shut off handle. Looks like if you wanted to pull down the faucet nozzle to the maximum, you would not be able to because it looks like the weight would get caught between the hot water shut off handle and the hot water pipe
Problem is I can’t twist the connection enough to stay tight. It tightens but then looses its grip. Cheap plastic. Taking it back and getting a better brand.
I'd stay away from glacier Bay. Nothing but problems. Get a Moen or Delta. For that quick connect on the glacier Bay I watched another guy use channel lock pliers to get it real tight

This guy is SO Canadian. And in this context, that's a compliment.
HA!!!! Thanks Polemeros. All this time I thought YOU were the one with the accent!

THANK YOU🙏🙏🙏
I read the instructions twice but, I really didn't get it until I watched you do this. Again Thank you 😊

@@URTechDotCa I agree!
Your video was helpful. I bought @ Home Depot. I just followed your instructions. I didn’t read the manual. Thanks
I just installed my faucet watching this ! U made it so simple thank you 😊
Thank you so much for this clear, straightforward tutorial! Made quick work of what had initially seemed like a daunting task. We appreciate you!
Glad it helped!
nice job explaining insulation. Really good job. it wasn't a 30 minute video and no hamming it up. thanks.

Thank you for your video, I was able to install my faucet after watching it
Just did this myself while watching this video. Thank you!
Fantastic!
Thank you for showing how easy installing it is! This is the one I just purchased too!
Thank you so much for the video. I’m starting remodeling the house and this video made the installation so simple and quick
Perfect for what I needed. Made replacement/install so much easier.
Good video Sir, gets to the point without a lot of needless hoopla. Thank you!
Thanks for a super informative video. I am terrible with my hands but was able to install the whole thing myself, thanks to you.
Anyone can do this one as long as they are willing to try. I am still very happy with mine. Thanks for watching and commenting Shaheer

I got this exact model for 46.00. 63 and change with the matching soap dispenser.
Great buy.

Excellent content 👌
It's what year did you think I got my GED or what year do you think I graduated college
Thank you!!!
Can you do this if your sink only has one hole rather than 3?
Yes, the instructions usually have a section if you only have one hole.

Did I miss the reason for the Allen key? LOL Usually have extra parts with my job completions, not tools!
It's for the set screw on the handle!
I'm watching this after taking a second trip to homedepot for silicone because that's what the damn instructions say
What year do you think I graduated I had a choice
I purchased one, no instructions. Don’t know how to do the pull down part. No water access mine is all new plumbing.
They’re on sale for $60 right now on Home Depot. I’m sure it’s worth it!
Really nice and helpful
What if you don’t have enough room to tighten the faucet?
Thank you
thank you!

I had the same problem... I tightened it down as tight as I could get it with my hand and three weeks later it was loose and wobbly!
Simply .. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Good video. I will tell you though, there's a reason those are so inexpensive. Hopefuly it lasts for you but I've had no luck with mine.
How to remove the nut??
Mine doesn't work. Turned water supply on........Nothing!!!
Broken valve cartridge replace cartridge.
It fell amazing
How do i take off that plastic nut?

As a circle view of apartment person I don't have the luxury of crying in here
