Probably bent when you hit that rock at the top of the hill they don’t take much to bend them. I used some steel tubing and sleeved over mine seemed to stop them bending 👍👍

I ended up adding an outlaw to the collection it was a bit broken when I got it now it's like new av been watching your videos on the outlaw av ordered some aluminium parts for it I like the car to be fair it's totally different to the ones I have keep up the good work 👍👍

Av moded a bit already av got arrma cars but I seem to have more fun with the little cars lol I remade a maverick quantum av just finished it now av started on this one 🤣🤣 when I got the car it was wrecked and had no body shell so I made a new one this one I used m3 screws to hold in place buy drilling the body posts and buy accident it's took all the flex out of the back end lol I was going to change out the posts once the new one arrive but it seems to be half as bad

Unfortunately, that's pretty much the sum of it.
Check the grub screws
Just diagnosed the issues. The FWD problem WAS caused by a grub screw... although not in the way I'd have expected! Video soon!
What are your thoughts on the FTX Vantage 2.0 & the Carnage, both brushed versions. If I decide to get 1 or both of those I intend to swap out the brushed system for brushless. Its cheaper than buying the stock brushless cars & will be much faster than the stock brushless versions.
They are perfectly good cars, for the money. Can suffer from weak spur & pinion gears, but those can be cheaply and easily upgraded. They won't survive crazy crashes, nor massive skate-park jumps, but they are more than enough for most people.
Their biggest problem is the new Maverick Quantum range of cars. They cost the same and are slightly more "premium", than the FTX cars.
@@TheRCScotsman I don't do skate parks or to heavy a bashing at all, I would be fitting a steel spur & pinion uprade along with brushless systems. I have the Quantum Flux xt brushless & the Quantum Flux Plus brushless.

Have you fitted those special plasticine driveshafts in that?!! I can't believe the rear axle, and the front drive failed on that ground? That's nuts!! 😬👍🏻
Oh, yes! Got them on offer; free with the purchase of a cotton spur gear and chocolate diff!

@@TheRCScotsman just watched the latest vid. Lots of little bits of damage, rather than one massive one. At least it's cheap to repair. Can you, and would it be worth upgrading the rear axle to a metal one? 👍🏻
@@roblowrie1969 You can, but it's ABSOLUTELY NOT worth it!! It's an RRP of £60 for the axle housing and a further £18 for the diff cover!

Man that ftx is so much trouble. I would sell it and get an axial yeti or a losi rock rey if they still make them.
It is, but I sort of like it! Axial Yeti has been discontinued for years and by all accounts, it was also a bit of a money pit. Rock Rey is current, but expensive. I was considering one, but I have something else in the pipeline.

Hey Andrew. Glad you're enjoying it! You must one of "those" people... as in, the people who have somehow snagged a good Outlaw and left me with a duff one!
Nah, the wheels have an alloy-look finish, but they're plastic. They're made by Fastrax, if you're interested.
@@TheRCScotsman they look like ally ones but I'm thinking of getting some ally ones plus I'm in the process of upgrading the plastic to aluminium so I can push it more by hell its quick

Sure, it's the bumper from the FTX Zorro. Straight fit, as long as you have two longer screws for the upper mounts.

@@aarongoodsir8713 Absolutely. That number refers to the capacity of the battery, not the voltage. It's just like having a larger fuel tank; your car simply lasts longer before it runs out.
