- I've extensively modified my brushless FTX Outlaw, to try and improve it's stability... Matthew hasn't done that!
How different (on tarmac) do they actually drive? And can they both survive the bash?

Mike you’re not going to like this, but I’m going to say it anyway. As a brushless Outlaw owner, I used to RC every day knowing a rollover and a breakage was never far away. Then as you know, I bought the new Arrma Typhon 3S. I have driven it like I stole it almost every day for a month. 50mph round the streets, bashing through the woods, jumping on BMX tracks, somersaulting in skate parks, through water, dust and crashed it hard several times. Nothing has broken. It runs perfect every day. You need this in your life. I told you you wouldn’t like it 😉
Hahaha, you haven't told me something I don't already know deep-down! Yeah, she's a bit fragile and yeah... I _am_ looking at the 3s Arrma line-up! It does make sense!

Hi I’ve just bought a red Outlaw and am new to RC, well proper ones….. I’m running a brushed stock model, yours seem way quicker, is this because they are brushless?
Hi there. Yes, the brushless system is much quicker. Best to get practice in, before you add lots of power.
What spur and pinion the modded one has, along with pitch?
That's all still standard. 62t spur and 23t pinion. The pitch is mod 0.6.
What upgrades did u make to the car
Metal propshaft, metal chassis, metal rear arms, Carnage sway bar at the front, metal Outlaw sway bar at the back, chassis brace across rear shock mounts, Zorro front bumper and battery moved onto the top deck.
What motor are you both running please?
Are you using the stock ESC?
Hi there. No, we are both running the GoolRC brushless combo, with 60A ESC and 3500kv motor.
@@TheRCScotsman this 3500 kv works well with 3s lipo, or would it need different?
@@szakalbarnabas87 It would be BLOODY fast!! Temperatures and durability might be an issue.
how long does the battery last stock
15 to 20 minutes, probably.
Are you using 2s or 3s lipo on this setup?
