Cost me just around $1, to make the equivalent of a $5 - $6.50 bubble tea from the stores in my area. (3 bags tea leaves $0.54; 500ml water $0.001; 30g tapioca balls $0.30; 2 tbsp creamer $0.09; 1 tbsp sugar syrup $0.10) All my ingredients are purchased from the supermarket near my house though, so I'm guessing stores buying directly from suppliers have maybe half my cost price? But then again they also have lots of other costs to consider: manpower, machines and shop rental costs and stuff.
When she said you could make this with coffee instead of tea I started imagining this as a caramel iced coffee and soaking the Boba in caramel sauce instead of honey 🤤
Okay, this is scary delicious! I mean, get you in trouble because you are drinking to much of this and your clothes don't fit any more - TROUBLE! My husband has grown up on Vietnamese Ice Coffee and this is better than anything we have ever had including the local coffee shop on every corner (we substituted coffee for the tea per your suggestion). Even my 11 year old son liked it! We are making your spicy Korean ribs with rice right now. My husband is searing the ribs as I type. Thanks once again for a fabulous recipe!!!
+Lesley Goodman that's amazing Lesley!! I'm so so happy to hear that you guys are cooking up another recipe of mine!! 😊Hope you guys enjoy the ribs with rice!! 😘❤
I recently started enjoying Asian cuisine and really enjoy watching your instructional videos. I am a good cook & enjoy eating good food from where ever. Each of your recipes are explained thoroughly. I have never subscribed to any TH-cam video channels, but I subscribed to yours. Keep doing what you do.
The first time I booked this type of tapioca, I made the mistake of having too much. I thought it would keep well in a fridge but it doesn't so make sure you use the right amount!
Thank you so much for showing us how to make Bubble Tea. I followed your instructions and it turned out better than my local shop. When I'm out shopping I usually get one of three flavors, I get Matcha with lychee popping boba, or Thai and Taro with original boba.
hehe that shaking part was so cuuuute! Will definitely be trying this recipe out! I usually use jasmine tea, sugar and milk but I'll see what adding condensed milk is like
You doing Bubble Pop was the cutest thing! And that shaking, you know how to have fun~ I was looking for a simple boba recipe and this seems like even I can try it, thank you!
I've seen so many boba videos on TH-cam, but I couldn't find any good ones😫 Your video is definitely the best, most accurate, easy to follow and delicious looking boba tips & recipie 💖 Dude, it's crazy cause I bought exactly the same boba package and wide mouth Mason jar today before I watched this, so perfect- can't wait to use them! Thanks for all the tips, I'm going to use ALL OF YOUR IDEAS 💖💖💖👍👍👍
OMG!! YASS!! I Always by these when i go into town because where i live i have a place called Pearls bubble tea and i always get milk tea and fruit tea :)
capt.sandy Vagoo I have some local Asian stores about 20 mins away but i haven't been in for a while so i don't know if it does! I must have a look haha
My 9 year old has been after me to make boba tea for 2 weeks. when I showed hi. what you made today, he freaked out and told me we need to go shopping so we can make this. He loves your videos! Thank you.
I had bobba tea ten years ago in a very good chinese restaurant in London.. nowadays Bobba tea became way more popular...you can have it in Berlin, Zurich even in Cyprus... but everyone makes those fruity versions with extremely sweet jellys in it..and I just miss the one I had ten years ago.. and this was it!!! Exactely the one I wanted.. it tasted exactely like the one I had ten years ago... thank you so much!!!
+Darren Liu hey Hayden! It was good to meet you in Seoul Korea!! I'm totally fine with you calling me auntie, it's so sweet! 💕 hope you and your family travel arrived home safe & sound!

Since we are in quarantine I can't get Bubble tea from the place I usually get it from so I have been making bubble tea at home, so this tutorial is really helpful at the moment
I like your recipe a lot better than the one I've had. So now I'm going to try it. I know it will be great because you haven't steered me wrong yet with any of your recipes. They are all fantastic!
amazncy Thai tea is so easy. I freaking love Thai tea with my whole existence. Watch "eat now cry later" on TH-cam. She makes authentic Thai tea like the restaurants. I tried other youtubers recipes and hers is the best ... but if you don't want to I remember the recipe in my head! 4 CUPS water 3/4 CUP brown sugar 1 CUP Thai tea leaves Boil water, once boiled, add tea leaves, soak for 45 minutes, strain and add half and half for creamier taste. (Other people use milk too but doesn't taste the same in my opinion) .. I measure the half and half by color since I drink Thai tea so much lol
I just bought my boba ingredients yesterday on Amazon! I got powder mixes, mango & honeydew, and regular black boba. I can't wait to make this at home ☺
I live in the middle of nowhere so the only way I can get boba tea is if I make it, I'm so glad this video exists. I'm going to get all the ingredients now!
this video is so awesome, now i can make boba tea anytime i want rather than go to a tea house and spend anywhere from 4 to 10 dollars a cup. my fave flavors are Thai iced tea, taro milk tea and honeydew milk tea!! thanks again for a great and cute video! ♡♡♡♡
Joshua Walters boba is basically another word for tapioca balls. They are made from black tea and have a chewy soft texture. You can buy them in an Asian grocery store and it's packaged dry and shriveled. You can cook them for 5-7 minutes and have to soak them in simple syrup preferably brown sugar simple syrup. I don't eat them anymore but I used to when I was a kid !
It is a tea of your choice with toppings, usually it's jelly like tapioca pearls but in Australia there's other topping choices aswell like red beans, pudding, Aloe Vera, Coconut Jelly, lychee jelly, basil seeds, Aiyu jelly and lots more. :)

Thank you so much for this! Just made it for the second time today, and it's SO good. Finally get to scratch the boba tea itch I've had since quarantine started.
I love milk teas!!! I mostly have to decide between Match, Thai, and taro. Though lately I been going for the popping boba, like adding lychee flavored popping boba to Match milk tea is soooooo amazing.
I had Jasmine milk tea with aloe jelly instead of the normal tapioca beads yesterday. It was so full of flavour, had the light yet very flowery taste that Jasmine tea has. Would love to try and make that
Add brown sugar into the milk tea and you will get a nuttier flavor like the ones you get at the store (I used to work at boba stores)
do you have the exact recipe?
she said 2 tbsp of sweetner in the recipe so probably replace the condense milk with the brown sugar
how do you make tea without milk. What do the shops use for the fruit teas.
@@amandajoyr1 they use fruit flavored syrup
Why tf are you watching this?

Who else wants to make bubble tea to save up money?
me, i spend way too much on bubble tea from the stores...
Not me but ok
It costs $7 for boba where I live ;(
It costs way too much time to make this that if you were to work a minimum wage job it would pay off immediately.
Cost me just around $1, to make the equivalent of a $5 - $6.50 bubble tea from the stores in my area.

When she said you could make this with coffee instead of tea I started imagining this as a caramel iced coffee and soaking the Boba in caramel sauce instead of honey 🤤

I made this with matcha green tea and it was the bomb

Okay, this is scary delicious! I mean, get you in trouble because you are drinking to much of this and your clothes don't fit any more - TROUBLE! I recently started enjoying Asian cuisine and really enjoy watching your instructional videos. I am a good cook & enjoy eating good food from where ever. My favorite milk tea is the jasmine one. It’s soooo yummy!😊
So true when it comes to controlling the sweetness, the salty tastes , loved it ,thank you so much 💖
The first time I booked this type of tapioca, I made the mistake of having too much. I thought it would keep well in a fridge but it doesn't so make sure you use the right amount!
yeah fridge boba is the worst lol. If it ever happens again put in in an air tight container and leave it out.

just recently found out what Boba Tea is, I had Creme Brulee flavored and I love, love, love it. Thanks for the tutorial.
do u know how to make thai ice tea? or 3 layer milk tea?
+curiouslysimple thanks!!
amazncy Thai tea is so easy. I freaking love Thai tea with my whole existence. Watch "eat now cry later" on TH-cam. She makes authentic Thai tea like the restaurants. I tried other youtubers recipes and hers is the best ... but if you don't want to I remember the recipe in my head!
4 CUPS water
3/4 CUP brown sugar
1 CUP Thai tea leaves
Boil water, once boiled, add tea leaves, soak for 45 minutes, strain and add half and half for creamier taste. (Other people use milk too but doesn't taste the same in my opinion) .. I measure the half and half by color since I drink Thai tea so much lol
3 layer milk tea is made from strong black tea, evaporated milk and palm sugar that has been melted into a syrup.

Can you make the honeydew milk tea? I love it so much.
this video is so awesome, now i can make boba tea anytime i want rather than go to a tea house and spend anywhere from 4 to 10 dollars a cup. my fave flavors are Thai iced tea, taro milk tea and honeydew milk tea!! thanks again for a great and cute video! ♡♡♡♡

Watching you just put a smile to my face. I love your show. God Bless!
What are the Boba balls? And what do they taste like? I've never had them.
+Joshua Walters it's tapioca pearls. Doesn't have any smell or taste but the texture is chewy and fun to eat!
Joshua Walters boba is basically another word for tapioca balls. They are made from black tea and have a chewy soft texture. I did this recipe it tasted more like a restraunt boba tea and it was DELICOUS IM IN LOVEEEEEEE
Recipe without boba: 1. Half cup of any sweet tea; 2. microwave for 1~2 minutes (nearly boiling point); 3. add milk
LOVE this video! I have an addiction to boba and now instead of buying it all the time, I can make it at home😆 Thanks.
I really like your personality SK! You're such a joyful woman who is very optimistic. I wish I could have a wife just like you someday.
I think I want to make this with earl grey tea and this is my first video I ever seen on your channel, good job!
I've never had Boba. What does it taste like?
tea with milk and gummy bears
Kind of like a maple syrup gummy bear
It taste like a cross between soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, green curry with a sweet maple flavor.
+scottmthw dang, what kind of boba is that? lol.
It is a tea of your choice with toppings, usually it's jelly like tapioca pearls but in Australia there's other topping choices aswell like red beans, pudding, Aloe Vera, Coconut Jelly, lychee jelly, basil seeds, Aiyu jelly and lots more. :)
so excited while watching this video
Hi, I love your show. I don't know who does your captions, but they seem to be making fun of the host. If you are not aware I recommend removing or editing the captions.
+The Mazzy Show that's Google's auto captions! 😂
I still get the feeling that someone is manipulating the text. The first line says "some gone wrong guest" as your name. and there is a line that says "I'm going to use this black kid in my house named Jacob." You might want to make sure you have the community functions turned off for CC contributions. It's in advanced settings. i think someone is hacking your subtitles. Thanks! Just want to make sure someone isn't pranking you.
You can't do caption without my permission and no one is working for me as a content creator. So no worries!
Yea, I guess you're right. I just wanted to make sure she wasn't getting trolled on without her knowledge. Some of those captions seemed too coincidental. you know?
The Mazzy Show it's auto-translate
This is so pure
Never had this kind of tea but I am making it for sure this week. Just wanted to say that I really don't care for the live feeds you have been doing lately. I preferred this show better and love it when Jacob and his daughter get involved.....but thank you for all the dishes you do. I am also making the kimchi, bacon, sprinkled peppers. That one made my mouth water!
I love milk tea , im going to try this now for sure. Thank you
This is the first episode I'm watching on this channel and you are so darling ♡♡♡♡ love it and will watch more!
Thank you for providing a nice recipe & amazing company listening to you.

You make me smile so big! Such a sweet person!!!!!
That looks so unbelievably good! 😍
Thai tea and taro milk tea are my faves!
Thank you so much for this! Just made it for the second time today, and it's SO good. Finally get to scratch the boba tea itch I've had since quarantine started.
I ALWAYS love your clothes!!! This shirt is soooo adorable. Do you possibly remember where you got it?!
I really like when you shake the bottle, funny😂😍
Aww she's so adorable!
