    Here's my Mike Patton story
He was in town supporting the Tomahawk project, they were on tour with The Melvins
Anyhow, with a ball cap and sunglasses on, he resembles about 4 billion people
But i heard him say something, just some random throw away phrase, but i recognized his voice
I looked over and we caught each others glance
I nodded and simply said "Mr. Patton" and he nodded in response
Later that evening, the venue was so packed, i found myself standing in the sound booth too watch the show
When it finished I chatted it up with the sound tech guy and lo and behold Mike Patton walked into the booth
He glanced my direction, dismissedly, but then realized i was the guy from earlier
He semi smiled and said "Hey The Quiet guy from the store"
That was it, thats my Mike Patton story
My brother has a better one, but he'll have too tell it

They didn't sell out to the industry wanting radio play. Verse chorus verse, guitar solo, chorus. They mixed it up their way. Was lucky enough to take a ride in the minivan around W.A when I was 15 (yeah I lied about my age but nothing untoward happened anyway) on the epic tour..then on the Angel Dust promo tour, spent time in Melbourne at the hotel and local park, we all were chatting, joking, jovial and feeding apples to possums❤..then I went back overseas and saw him again. I was confident through work I'd inevitably run into him again..but life got in the way💔 Will never forget the feeling I had when he first looked at me in Australia before that possum park escapade...I was talking to Jim Martin about where we were going to go have dinner as Mike and I locked eyes. Awkward for JM as I rudely, completely did not hear another word he said...(we ate at a Japanese steak house, well Jim did, I drank from nerves)🙄 And couldn't wait to get back..then the pissing possum escapade...BE still my BLEEDING heart! When MP looks at you so intensly, almost stares..yeah..you will not ever forget that feeling..everrrrr. I won't. First and last my little girl.. and then Mike's face WILL be what I see when I die.❤❤

Love this song. Just catches me right.
    Lyrics
I want them to know, it's me
    It's on my head
I'll point the finger at me
    It's on my head
Give it all to you, then I'll be closer
Smiling with the mouth of the ocean
And I'll wave to you with the arms of the mountain
    I'll see you
I will let you shout no more
It's on my head (It's on my head)
I'll pick you up from the floor
It's on my head (It's on my head)
I'll let you even the score
It's on my head (It's on my head)
Give it all to you, then I'll be closer
Smiling with the mouth of the ocean
And I'll wave to you with the arms of the mountain
    I'll see you
Give the same to me, then I'll be closer, closer
Give the same to me, then I'll be closer, closer
Smiling with the mouth of the ocean
And I'll wave to you with the arms of the mountain
Give the same to me, then I'll be closer, closer
Give the same to me, then I'll be closer, closer

This song is a beautiful masterpiece. Just the perfect balance of harmonic parts with things getting heavy and kicking into full gear with the chorus. First time I heard said chorus, I was mesmerized. It really showcased what a talented band they are as a whole.
Patton reigns supreme in his ability to control his voice, goodness, he is a mad genius who still sounds every bit as good as he did when this song first came out.
