From Ohio, living in Arizona since 2004. Would discuss with friends about high school sports comparing Arizona vs Ohio. Comparing track and field results. And about four years ago saw the name Abby Steiner. Looked her up , she was a 9th grader running great times! So i followed her here in Arizona. What a high school career! I was actually nervous like before Browns or Ohio State games waiting for state results to be posted. Congratulations on her high school career! Looking forward to seeing her times with the Wildcats of Kentucky!

@Zippy Knowitall The Worlds will show a spectacular field...let's pray they all stay healthy! I was hoping Gabby Thomas would remain healthy for the 200m final in the Nationals to see how she and Abby would push one another. With the Jamaican trio of Jackson, Thompson-Harah, and Fraser-Pryce, the women's field of sprinters should be the crown jewel of the World's - hoping/betting WRs will fall. Best of luck to all of them!

@Zippy Knowitall I was a freshman at the Univ of Idaho in '68-''69, and Puma was making a splash in an attempt to unseat the most popular track shoe then, Adidas. On the track team, we ran with Adidas, but a couple of other schools, including the Univ of Washington, were using Puma. Back then, they were the only two racing shoe companies of any renown. A guy named Bill Bowerman started wearing Nike for the first time, I think in '69, at the Univ of Oregon...long ago and far away!

    60m - 7.30
    100m 10.99
    200m 22.70
    300m 37.70
