    I have spent 3 days on this and I really don't know what I am doing wrong , I have watched everything you have done , checked all the boxes time and time again , everything is right , the only thing that does not happen is when you copy the acting and polygon nodes (13.15) I just get the clean plate , no actor (or particles above the head ) I have done it over and over and still the same.

      Time travel to June 2022, I am having the same problems that you are. I think because this video is over a year old, the several upgrades have made the process different enough than what is presented in this video.

    Still struggling to get logo to work! need to solve that before I tackle this. Perhaps you could do a vid, showing a trouble shooting a fusion effect. After all this is your node tree I downloaded and I cannot get it to work.

      What sort of trouble shooting

    • @gimbalair
      @gimbalair 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      For me, using your preset dissolve download, it wouldnt run in the main edit window but run fine in fusion, kept stalling. I’m running an M1 mac with 16g would have thought it could cope. Also when creating a new dissolve effect i added my media in at the 2 points but got no output even when i sent media out to ‘2’. Maybe an explanation that if you dont see an effect on screen or it is jittery, why that might be and how to overcome it and fix it, what to check for.

    can someone help me out here? i can make the particles but as my device is weak i have to use timeline proxy resolution while im doing the process. The problem is when i hit "full" in timeline proxy resolution, the particles i have created diseppear. Thought i might be the processing capacity of my computer, but when i export the project, the particles are not there on final video.

    Just some advice, these types of tutorials should ALWAYS start with a finalized render of the output so we see exactly what the finished product looks like. Great job.

      @@ThatModernDude I thought the same thing too, and came to the comments where I learned it was 35 seconds in. This means the it's best to start off the video with the rendered effect as this grabs the attention of the viewer. Great job tho.

    Would it be a huge issue if you were to dissolve someone that’s walking? You were moving slightly in the video you used but it’s not a full on walking.

    • @directedbymarvin
      @directedbymarvin หลายเดือนก่อน

      If the background is static, it shouldnt be an issue. If the camera moves with the subject, I'd try magic mask (or rotoscoping) to separate the subject from the background

    could anyone tell me how to do the reverse of this, does reversing the arrows in the fusion clip work?

    • @KyleCre8s
      @KyleCre8s 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would say just render the clip in the same direction as him, then import the rendered clip into the Edit page. Then, go to the speed controls in the inspector of the edit page, and change it to reverse. I believe the icon is an arrow pointing backwards. If you need the effect to be faster, you can adjust that with the sliders below. Hope that helps! If you need me to explain in more detail, plz just comment back and ill see what i can do.
