Downloaded it, working in a fashion but even my M1 mac is struggling to compose the particles after a minor adjustment, is this normal, all the nodes appear to quiver, is that them compiling?

You need to make sure you added an instance polygon node, not just a regular copy of the polygon node (hit shift + control + v instead of just control + v). I had the same issue until I realized this!

I am using 18.6.4 studio version on windows but I cannot see the option of deinstance when I right click the border width. Is it not available in the windows ?? Thank You!

Ive looked through the comments to see if i could find the answer, but for some reasons as soon as i invert the mattecontrol everything just disappears. Ive tried redoing everything to see if some previous step got messed up somehow but it just keeps doing it. Please help!
Cries in Davinci Resolve 18...there is no Effect composition or pEmitters/renderers on here. I really like this and I hope I can find a tutorial for it for 18. BUMMERRRRR
Nice tutorial dude but with nodes you don’t need to copy and paste all the time. You can just branch one node into different trees. Eg the last step you could have used the same polygon with a new branch into the merge. Just a FYI. But great tutorial.
I followed everything exact and it worked out great. however, for some reason the particle dissolve looks like it is not centered on top of my logo and ends up fading away too early before the logo. Do you know what would cause this?
@@ThatModernDude It may not be sophisticated but... I was able to duplicate the dissolve clip in the edit page, change it to a compound clip and then change the speed to -100. Def taxed my M1Mac. I rendered in place (took about 10 min with DR Studio) and it was good to go.
Thank you mate! I've followed the tutorial with a more rectangular logo. Only problem is that when it has 'dissolved' I get a kind of ghost of the logo and particles in one spot afterwards! Is this the polygon mask that needs adjustment do you think?
Yes it does sound like the man needs adjusting, make sure it covers the whole of the logo with enough room to spare so when you soften the mask it doesn’t leak over the logo

bro your screen is too small on my 1080p monitor. plz, record your screen on that monitor where the audience can watch your content easily and see every single text. and your content is really helpful. and please make your cursor visible for us, it's too small.
When i render it out i get blocky artefacts in the blacks. Any idea why that is. Testing with standard preset. *Edit I just noticed that you have the artefacts in your render aswell.. *Edit Found the reason, i had the bit rate set to low..

Open up the key frame editor and make sure the animations line up!!

Oh true. That would be a bit harder. You could just reverse the masking and it will work okay, but the particle direction wouldn’t be right
