The last 4 sandwiches can be found from Sushi Oficianado in Casseroya Lake. Correction: Raid Power is about rewards to that type of raid. Not boosting power in a raid. Sorry, I got my notes mixed up :(
Is it about overall damage done in each type of raid? So if you did a raid power: grass, would that mean EVERY MOVE you did in a grass raid is boosted? And regarding xp boost - do you get xp for fighting that type? or does your party pokemon have to be that type to get the boost?

Hey Austin, for the Charizard raid, Dachsbun is fairy so immune to Charizard's Tera Dragon type and it also has the ability Well-Baked body, making it immune to fire attacks as well. I think it's a solid pick. Runner up I'd say Azumarill.
@@waixiong7127 it is going to be an event only raid starting on December 1st, but it (as well as other event raids) will be a 7 star raid. I feel it's worth putting out there that when I watched your shiny hunting video and learned you can get peanut butter from artisan bakery, I tried going there and I did not see peanut butter. I was very early in the game (only 1 gym badge, no other badges) but I feel like that's worth mentioning because a lot of ingredients are locked behind progression
Hey Austin! I believe the chance for an Herba Mystica to drop is actually 2.5/3% *per reward* which means that with an average of ~10 rewards per raid you’ll have roughly 10 rolls per raid to get one (and potentially more)
@@TheBestMonkeyMan so, what he is saying is: every item you get from a Tera raid den has a 2.5/3% chance of being an Herba Mystica. so if you get 10 items to drop from a Tera raid den, those 10 items each have 2.5/3% chance of being an Herba Mystica.
Quick tip, you can press plus in the shops to bulk buy, it creates a shopping list so you can click through and purchase everything at the end instead of 1 by 1
I tried to play Gordon Ramsey in Pokémon once. Told my Charizard that my steak was well done and I had ordered a medium rare. And that’s why I’m in the hospital with Third Degree Burns
Hey Austin! I have a correction for the video. You don't need all that salty herba mystica to get encounter power 3 and shiny power 3. You just need to avoid using certain combinations. For example, you can use 2 spicy herba mystica for the dragon sandwich, and get encounter power 3, sparkling power 3, and title power 3.
Great stuff as always Austin but just 1 thing I noticed, in shops, you can hit the plus button and mass buy multiple items all at once and it'll show up like a store receipt which is cute and works for selling items too.
Hey just to clarify Raid Power increases the reward of the corresponding Tera Raid. If you have a Raid Power: Water Lvl 1 then whenever you complete a tera raid that is a water type more rewards will be given at the end.
One thing I wanna point out for anyone struggling to get salty herba mystica is that there are three ingredients in the same category as the herba mystica that also give a huge boost to encounter power: curry powder, horseradish, and wasabi. Using these, one of the ingredients for the type you want, and the rest of encounter power that DOES NOT overlap with whichever if of the three you use, and any two herba mystica, you can get the same result as using the optimized recipe
Love the fact that (I feel like) not too long ago I sent over one of your videos to my friends like "oh I found this random dude on TH-cam and he's helped me breed every color of every flower in Animal Crossing" to basically notifying each other with same said friend the minute we receive a notification from you while we play Violet in our own tempo. The default #80 (ham sandwhich) is great. It gives "Normal rate up" so if you go to the "Fairy Team Star" and "Area 0 - where Iron Valiant spawns" (end game but you can rush to the fairy area earl)... you can get hundreds of chansy to spawn throughout the duration of the sandwich. Meaning you can easily get exp if you want to fast level up. Make sure to actually fight them and not attack them in Let's go. Let's go gives little exp unless you are like 20-30 level under the chansy. whereas fighting individually gives 2k+ exp.

A few questions/requests: - Is there a more convenient way to sort the sandwich list? I have a couple things favourited but its still a pain to navigate. - Is there a list of encounter power sandwiches for each type out there somewhere? Was able to get a few shinies last night using the couple types I found, but it would be nice to have go to recipes for all of them. Is it always cheaper to make sandwiches? EDIT: Rembered one more: Is there a way to check recipe requirements without being in picnic mode? @@T_T_i_N oh shite! I didnt see your name! I was writing the comment of "it didnt take 'austin' much necessarily" to op. Me and my friends have been trying to test as much as we can think to make our own recipes but all we can figure maybe is that the higher the type value, then its more likely to be in the 3 slots
Hi Austin thank you for all the work you do making these guides, I have a bit of info to offer that I'm not sure is known/tested in the community regarding union circle sandwich making: - Person A can host a Union Circle session with Person B and save their game before opening a picnic and initiating a sandwich making session, Person B would then join the sando session. - Person A would use your optimal recipe for the group's desired Sparkling and Encounter power and Person B would use the same initial ingredient with 1 single salt. The sandwich would still turn out to be Sparkling, Title, and Encounter power LVL 3. - Person B can then save and Person A can close their game, thus ending the session. When Person B comes out of their black screen they will be back in their own game with the sandwich buff, and Person A will reopen the game to just before having made the sandwich, in theory Person A has the power to infinitely share LVL 3 Sparkling and Encounter power buffs indefinitely with at least 1 friend! I'm by no means a tester but I have done this with a friend for the fairy, ghost, and dragon sandwiches as the host, as they do not have any herba mystica, and it has worked every time, please note though that these sandwiches all only require the salty herba mystica and I'm not sure if Person B's single salt would in any way change the outcome of a recipe that required 2 different herba mystica, I also do not know if 3 people could just add a single salt as long as 1 person added the 2 herba mystica. I hope this is useful information for the community if it is indeed unknown! My friend and I have been able to simultaneously hunt Iron Valiant, Scream Tail, and Flutter Mane all in one half hour sandwich buff in Area Zero which is how I figured out it would work! (you may not even see this I know you're a popular channel ^^)
I highly recommend the simple ham and pickle sandwich for Chansy grinding. Trust, Normal power 1 will spawn all the Chansy you need, especially if you are manually battling for the most xp

Hi I think it's great that you have the "screenshot" version of the charts in your videos but I think it might be helpful to align it so it doesn't interfere with the bottom-right corner of the screen, since if you're on mobile it might be obscured by your channel logo. For some of the charts it doesn't matter much, but occasionally there's info in that part of the chart that might be harder to see because of that.
Hello Austin, amazing and informative video as always. Seeing that competitive play season 1 will happen soon, could you please make an EV train(and erase) video soon? The information I’ve found online seems to suggest that there isn’t a “quick” method anymore like before (sw/sh jobs)
Fair play to TTIN and Austin for making this incredible list of recipes you both deserve a massive pat on the back. This will definitely help a lot of people.
There it is. I couldn't remember which vid you mentioned Tauros in. You can tell if it's the normal or version-exclusive Tauros by looking at the tails. Much easier and faster because you can tell from far away. Water Tauros (Violet) curls into a circle like a propeller, and Fire Tauros (Scarlet) has three tufts that split at the end of one thick tail
Love the all the coverage of pokemon Scarlet And Violet. I don't get to play pokemon violet till friday and your awesome videos are helping me get through the week, thanks Austin. 🥰
6:50 I feel like the entirely disinterested "You could do that." is the best way to sum up this entire system. Did we need an in-depth cooking mama sandwich sim in a Pokémon game? No, would've preferred a stable framerate and real accessibility features. But we have it, and yeah I guess you can do that.
There are more recipes! I have 151, idk if you mentioned it in another video but if anyone reads this, at mouth of the river on the east side of casseroya lake where the river meets the lake and theres a man at a picnic bench with a dratini who will give you 4 "sushi" sandwich recipes! 148-151
Hey Austin. A side grade for the max shiny + encounter sandwich exists for sweet + spicy: 1) 4x Low tier encounter item (e.g. red Onion) 2) 1x mid grade Humungo item (e.g. Potato salad) 3) 2x teensy reducing condiments (e.g. Olive oil) 4) 1x Sweet Mystica 5) 1x Spicy Mystica If you followed the example here, you should have a max ghost sandwich. This can work for all types by replacing the appropriate ingredients. Good hunting!
Someone found recipes that allows you to not have to use salty herba but instead uses more regular ingredients and 2 of any herbas if your having bad luck getting these specific herba
i did exactly what you said, went to a place where espeon was the only psychic type.. sparkling power psychic 3 , encounter power psychic 3 and im getting sunflora. i didnt know sunflora was a psychic type now
The third effect for the "perfect" recipes is "title power lvl 3", which is honestly great. All that is needed now are recipes for shiny lvl 3 + enounter lvl 3 + humungo/teensy lvl 3 OR shiny lvl 3 + title power lvl 3 + big/tiny lvl 3.
There are 4 more sandwich recipes for anyone who wants to have them all! Talk to the picnic person on the path in the southeast of casseroya lake to get sushi sandwich recipes. Disclaimer, I don’t think they’re useful, but if you wanna collect them all they are there
I’d like to point out that if you drop an ingredient(e.g. 1/3 banana), the types will rotate. Let’s say, Encounter power Fire, Raid power Steel & Item drop Poison could end up giving you Encounter power Poison, Raid power Fire & Item drop Steel.
Not sure if you will see this. But i think you no longer have to hatch the eggs you get from breeding if you are shiny hunting. I had been hunting for shiny Fuecoco for a while through breeding. And when i had 2 boxes full i started to hatch them. But i felt like looking at my profile to see how many shiny pokemon i had encountered. To my surprise it said "3". I had only encountered a shiny shroomish and hatched a shiny larvitar, Which meant i had lost a shiny. Fast forward 15 minutes later i finally hatched a shiny Fuecoco. But the interesting part here is that on my profile shiny encounters never went up to 4, it stayed "3". I think you no longer have to hatch the eggs you breed as the profile will tell my if you have gotten it or not. I might be wrong but this happened to me.
Thank you so much for this Video! Was searching for a Sandwich guide but didn't find one... In addition to this Video it would be great to get Video about how the self-made Sandwiches works - like using the Stats of ingredients shown on Serebii, because it doesn't work as aspected. Also it would be cool to see a guide on how to farm the herbs (best Pokemon to take into battle, which raid to battle and helpfull boosts) - maybe in your more optimised shiny hunt guid :) Anyway: thank you!
Great video, just want to say thank you for your guides and I appreciate how much content you push out, not easy. Keep up the great work and content. 👍

Bro let’s gooo. I need this badly, I’ve been trying to shiny hunt paradox forms for a while now, and not that much luck. Thanks a lot!
Hello Austin, amazing and informative video as always. Seeing that competitive play season 1 will happen soon, could you please make an EV train(and erase) video soon? The information I’ve found online seems to suggest that there isn’t a “quick” method anymore like before (sw/sh jobs)
Yes please!
Fair play to TTIN and Austin for making this incredible list of recipes you both deserve a massive pat on the back. This will definitely help a lot of people.
Love your content, appreciate all the work you do!
I just finished the game today so this is massively helpful. You are the GOAT of Pokémon guides.
Think we could get an ULTIMATE breeding guide sometime? It would be greatly appreciated, thank you for all your hard work!
thanks this was helpful!
Hey Austin. A side grade for the max shiny + encounter sandwich exists for sweet + spicy:
1) 4x Low tier encounter item (e.g. red Onion)
2) 1x mid grade Humungo item (e.g. Potato salad)
3) 2x teensy reducing condiments (e.g. Olive oil)
4) 1x Sweet Mystica
5) 1x Spicy Mystica
If you followed the example here, you should have a max ghost sandwich. This can work for all types by replacing the appropriate ingredients. Good hunting!
Your sandwich gave me two shiny fluttermailne and a shiny sableye in less then an hour. Thanks Austin.
This is gonna help me. Thanks for the video
I wonder how many time Austin will beat the game when the next Pokémon game comes out
Someone found recipes that allows you to not have to use salty herba but instead uses more regular ingredients and 2 of any herbas if your having bad luck getting these specific herba
i did exactly what you said, went to a place where espeon was the only psychic type.. sparkling power psychic 3 , encounter power psychic 3 and im getting sunflora. i didnt know sunflora was a psychic type now
Even at level 3, there will still be some other Pokémon, it’s just that the chance is a lot lower.
@@enzoongweekiat1711 so more of other pokemon then the espeon i wanted honestly . the gods hate me , i have no shiny luck lol
Is there anywhere that you could hunt eevee easier
I dont know if this is possible or actually needed, but can we make a recepie for than includes the sparkling power and egg power?
You know with sandwiches taking the spotlight in this game over curry, I'm kind of surprised that Subway didn't try to get in on this.
I have a question, when it comes to Humungo/Teensy power, does it work with eggs?
Call me a chef 👨🍳
Oh Austin, press + in a shop to bulk buy. It's so good when you want to get multiples of stuff. Also works for selling
This has to be the most annoying game mechanic I have ever seen in my life.
Huge help ! Gotta be honest I've been watching all his guides since Pokémon sun and moon
Thank you so much for this Video! Was searching for a Sandwich guide but didn't find one...
In addition to this Video it would be great to get Video about how the self-made Sandwiches works - like using the Stats of ingredients shown on Serebii, because it doesn't work as aspected.
Also it would be cool to see a guide on how to farm the herbs (best Pokemon to take into battle, which raid to battle and helpfull boosts) - maybe in your more optimised shiny hunt guid :)
Anyway: thank you!
Great video, just want to say thank you for your guides and I appreciate how much content you push out, not easy. Keep up the great work and content. 👍
PSA look at the Taurus's tail, the region variant has a more noticeable style. The water type looks like a propeller.
LET'S GOOOO!! Austin, thank you for this guide!!
This is the third time recently that I’ve clicked on the top of my screen for one reason or another at the exact time a notification for one of your videos pops up. It’s destiny
A very much appreciated video would be going over all the shiny Pokemon that hardy change, that way we can ingrain them in our heads to always be on the look out.
Can I just say how convenient these guides are?! Because of how amazing Austin is I got ten shinies no problem and defeated the cinderace spotlight raid den. Keep up the good work!!!
If you press "+" on the buying screen you can bulk buy things at the stores. Can also do it at poke marts and when selling things.
I’ve been craving this video! Thanks Austin!
Hey Austin I'm not sure if anyone had said this but if you use your easy sandwich methods with the tomatoes, onions, green pepper, hamburger and then 2 of anything, then any 2 herba's . If you use one sweet and one sour it works but will not give you encounter power. It gives catching power instead.
Austin, I’m sleepy, and bored. So I come to you, like I always do, thank you for the content, you feed my insatiable hunger for knowledge and efficiency in video games. Have a goodnight Austin
❤❤❤❤❤ the most anticipated video of the season!!
