Great video about the differences. I have shot the original Hevi-Shot single B, Hevi XII #2, and Hevi Xtreme 1/4. For me, with limited days in the field the premium is worth it I would like to see the Hevi Bismuth back with more 2-3/4 options for older guns.

Glad you enjoyed it! You are very correct with the assessment that quality is the way to go when time is limited. You definitely know your stuff there! Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment and being a Hevi Shot user

Im happy with hevi steel for geese. #2 will slay big honkers out to 45 yds, easily as well as #4 bismuth well.
My favorite all around load is migra 2-4. It handles ducks and geese well out to 45.
Bismuth is great, it’s just expensive and steel does fine.
A few brands are now offering 2-4 stacks. If you can get those in 1 1/4 oz payload at 1,500, they’ll do everything you need short of skipping busting late season geese at 50-70 yds. Give me #2 bismuth for that

@wolfpack3914 Thanks for the feedback. When you get a chance, give the new Hevi Steel Layered 2-4 load a try. I'm extremely pleased with the performance on ducks and geese, and the price is very reasonable, which is always a bonus
