    I am researching BLW right now for my 4 month old so I am ready. I love all of your videos and was excited you did one about this because I tend to trust your evaluations because you do pros, cons, and seem very non-judgmental. Anyway, wanted to pass something along about allergens and a tip I learned from my doctor. Peanut Butter allergies are almost unheard of in Israel because of a treat called BAMBA. It's basically peanut butter cheesedoodles (without the cheese). These are like puffs. I am planning on using this as a snack so I just wanted to share with you like you do with all of us.

      That makes a lot of sense! They're basically introducing peanut butter early on. Thanks for sharing!

    Our first meal was peanut butter toast and a spinach omelet. 2nd meal was avocado toast. And 3rd was peanut butter and jelly. She's doing so good! I love baby led weaning.

    I started purees with my daughter at 5 months, she's now 7 months and I am slowly giving her small chunks of soft food (avocado, banana, streamed carrots etc..) I see most parents who start BLW give long strips/big chunky pieces, my question : when I give her bigger chunks she tries to shove the whole piece in her mouth so is it ok to start with smaller pieces first and gradually increase the size of the chunks once she gets used to chewing ?!

    What websites or blogs did you go to for guidance? I love the products you talk about but idk where to ...find out how to find them, if that makes sense. Great great great videos - I legit really like your videos. Also, have you ever thought about a career in newscasting or on like a daytime show? You kind of give off the vibe of a daytime show person. Anyways, thanks for the help!

    Yay, my question made it into a Susan Yara video (the one about feeding with a spoon)! :) By the way, my little one hates eggs too! He always has though, but he eats pretty much everything else. He turned one a couple of days ago and he hasn't had a single puree in his life! Crazy! With my first we relied SO much on purees and always making sure we had some in the house. It's been so nice this time around to just give baby whatever we're having for any meal! (he eats all meals with us unless he's napping for whatever reason)! Yay baby led weaning!

    Sippy Cup recommendations?

    • @SusanYara
      @SusanYara  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I love the Cheeky Baby straw sippy cups. They're spill-proof and easy to use. Nikash picked up on how to suck on a straw better than a sippy cup with a spout, so we went with that!

    Will you be teaching Ash sign language as a way of communication? My son is 3 months too young but I'm highly considering it.

    Lets say baby eats 3-4 meals and snacks on his own. And makes his clothes, face and hair dirty. So, isnt it a hassle for mom to clean him, and change dresses all day long?
