For future reviews and/or retrospectives: I actually like it, when you talk about your experience with the game, what you liked, what you disliked, what some of your thoughts were during playing and what you learned. More of that, and less reiterating the story and things, that we already know if we have played it, or don't want to hear if we haven't played the game yet. Your "meta thoughts" so to say, are way more valuable. And in your spoilery part, it's actually really cool for people who have played the game, to hear what your thoughts and reactions were to specific standout parts of the game. Maybe there were parts where you were stumbling/stuck in particular. Maybe something really surprised you, or something or some or multiple aspect/s even impressed you. In other non-puzzle games, maybe you found something else, some aspect difficult to pick up or understand or learn to exercise.
Welp, it released. Mapping and puzzles are the best i have ever seen in a released portal game so far, but i am not so sure about story, its pretty nice and all, but i dunno if i like it more than mels story.
I just finished it, good review. Anyway, I CAN'T believe you just jumped over the fact that this mod is hard as hell. My god, spread over a year I gave up twice and only today got the courage to finish this brain evaporating difficulty monster thing.
I'm also amazed by the puzzle makers! So many puzzle solution are SO ingenious! I am often in awe after solving some of these! And I can't imagine - if it's already a head-twister to figure these out: HOW do you come up with these? What kind of mind does it take to think these solution sequences out? Some of them that are so incredible when you figure them out, that it just feels like a landrush of Aha moments! You rarely think about, that these tests had to be thought about and then constructed. And I have absolutely no idea, how you come up with some of these as a puzzle designer. Nobel price winners and "particularly cruel scientists" indeed! ;)

There will soon release a Portal mod called "Portal Revolution", which you should definetely review.
Agreed! It seems to be even bigger than PS:M. Unfortunately it doesn't get the same amount of attention, which is a shame.

I agree, Mel has the better story, Revolution has the more interesting gameplay with really damn good puzzles @@LAUCHGeorge
