Nah they even sell a solution to keep the image from fading - why? Because the image fades lol. With that said, yes there is a sublimation spray that is permanent called sublisnap. The solution bonds with the cotton. It is a liquid polymer. Sublimate does not actually have liquid polymer in the solution. Either way support either company. They are both local to the USA, so if you live here in the USA it id a great way to support small businesses. Sublimate is still a great company with a good product.@humblebitch939
@@humblebitch939 i find it to be permenant if you do it correctly. coat both sides of the shirt and also spray after you print and dry, then its permenant. it ends up very expensive. if you use too much the shirt turns stiff if you use too litle, it will fade, you have to do it just right.
Thank you I genuinely appreciate that kind comment and I appreciate the support. Should you have any questions feel free to comment and I’ll do my best to assist you in the best way possible.
I'd love to see how it held up to a wash. I know when a 50/50 blend it came out looking great because the ink was resting on the cotton. After the first wash all the dye on the cotton washed out and the image became a lot more muted.
I have 2 bottles of SubliSnap i am trying to get rid of. I am outsourcing my prints now and dont need them. The solution by far works the best for commercial use. These are 300ml bottles. I can ship in the USA only. No money needed - I just need to offload bottles and would like these to go to a good home.
None of these techniques seem to hold up from our experience. Turning garments inside out before washing helps but for best results stick with polyester materials for sublimation.
@@LanceMcGrewit is the cheapo amazon solution you want to avoid. Sublimate is good but still fades. Sublisnap is the only solution I am aware of that actually bonds to the cotton. It is a liquid polymer solution. I have done the wash test and it works well for commercial use.

Firstly , thank you for that video , I want to print on cotton tshirts only as that what my small business requires. Did you do a wash test ? And was this a 100% tshirt ?
If you want something that is actually permanent, I would go with sublisnap. The bottles are also 3 times larger. They are more so for business owners rather than DYI but the price/volume you actually get a lot more bang for your buck.
Very good, my be a solution for some of what I do but have a question. What happen to the sprayed area that don't get sublimated? Does it have film or sticker feel once is pressed? Hope not to impose on you, just curious. Thank you!

Strange, I purchased the same spray recently and it is not sticky at all. Maybe they changed formulation? I do find, however, that if I spray too much on, areas I sprayed that don’t have the print on it are yellowed, so it’s a bit of trial and error to find the right amount to spray.
I have printed with the same materials and the same sublimation spray but the result is very fade. Am I doing something wrong or is the print method not good enough?
Hello Malmo54, I don’t think this process is meant to last long on T-shirt’s I would use this only on maybe a Tote bag. Something that isn’t washed often.
Hello GT I have never personally tried that method. The instructions on this one says to spray it on the fabric. Joel this helps. Should you have any further questions feel free to comment and I’ll do my best to assist you
I tried that same one. Soon as I washed each item afterwards. All were faded, gets worse the more washes you do. Tried another which seems to be holding up way better than this one.
I had the exact same results with this one. I’m going to be doing an updated video soon. The whole image faded. I’m thinking of using this for maybe tote bags. Still not to sure. I want to try another brand to see if it’s only this one that’s giving me issues. Should you ever have any questions feel free to comment and I’ll do my best to assist you in the best way possible.
Subli - T is brand I got. I recommend doing the first being saturated then letting it dry. Then doing a softer spray and drying and repeating second spray. I made a Supernatural shirt on 100 per cotton, it only being black ink which I sublimation onto it. I have worn it at least 5 or 6 times. It has barely faded. But I also didn't wash it for a week or two after making it.

Wooow sublimation on cotton is game changing! The final result looks so vibrant and clean. Well done 👍 and great review
Thank you very much, yes It does! I was definitely surprised.
What u doing in here daniel y i quess tattoo artist can sublime too lol nice review thanks
No matter what spray you use will eventually come off and Duke your designs. I tried them all and subli mate works the best!!!

How long does the print last with this?...also any brand recommended? Also, do you still recommend this technique?
This lasted maybe 4 washes. I wouldn’t use this. Only if it was a last minute birthday shirt that wasn’t going to be used again .
So u see those tiny black particles?y does that happen that's weird it's happened to me...im wondering is my heat press too high?
With this one I pressed it like 3 times which caused the ink to bleed. With sublimation I only recommend pressing it once on medium pressure
Wait urs looks more like lint....my bright shirt it's like neon orange....it's like the material bleed?black weird.
