Just a tip because I’ve been using the Silhouette for awhile like I have the 2nd version of it, but anyways if you put your image in silhouette studio and trace it first and check your cut lines you won’t have to do that step when you go back into cut it because the cut lines will already be in there from where you traced it and it saves you that step.
Hello, your video was great and i bought the fabric sheet and for soe reason i cant use my cricut to cut the design. can you provide me with some tips to cut the design? it will scan it but when it comes to do the cutting it stops.
How would you compare this from a standard transfer with regard to how it feels on the shirt? Will this last longer? What's the difference in thickness?
I’m just wondering will the sublimate fabric work for an epson wf 7710 printer and can I cut with a cricut machine and heat press with an easy press 2 cricut brand?
Hello, my name is Patty, your video was vert helpful. I do have a question. On this fabric sheet you use for a sublimation; can you use any ink or does it have to use sublimation ink?
This might be a stupid question but why cut it at all? Like if you didn’t do it through silhouette it wouldn’t have the registration marks… and you could press the whole sheet since the white doesn’t have any ink on it?
I purchased this product and like the feel of it, but it looked good printed on the product but the end result on the shirt was muted; faded. why? and if using verbiage you must mirror the image.
Sublimation originally works great with light color polyester fabrics. The higher the polyester the better the print. This is just a way to get Sublimation to show on dark fabrics and cotton shirts
I read through the comments and didn't see this asked, But my printer the paper is fed into the back, Which direction would I put the paper, Like what part facing me?
Mark a piece of blank paper and print something. Make note of how you inserted It and if the mark was top or bottom. Use the same theory with this new sub fabric. I’d Ur printer prints on the top, then the sticky part should be faced down. And vice verse
is this inkjet printer your using ? and can you get this paper in the UK ? and do you know if you have sublimation printer which prints on white can you use same ink so you dont need inkjet ? as i mainly looking to do black or other colour garments
It looks like a cool product but I use easy subli and I sublimate using a sub paper directly onto the easy subli and it turns out much better than printing directly on the fabric. I am pretty sure if you did the same the results would be a lot better.
Agreed. And quite frankly I would never try to sell this to anyone. IMO The quality is substandard. Not badmouthing Southpaw, he no doubt did everything according to directions. But I feel the end result looks muddy and is not sellable.
Actually that’s the 13x19 size and some other vendors sell those sizes for over $5 a sheet. Ithey have four different sizes and I love that. The 8..5 x 11 is only $40.50 and it includes shipping. I use them for my business and I love them. My sales are going up for repeat customers because my customers like that they are fabric and not vinyl. They really have great customer service because there was a problem with one of my orders from the mail and their customer service made me a customer for life. But that’s just been my experience. Did I mention how much money I save by not using easy subli and being able to offer bigger size prints. I think they are worth it.
@@barboneal my colors come out really good on the sheets. And using them actually helped me gain more repeat customers. My customers say they aren’t heavy and they get great airflow.
@@ericaochoa315 can you share the link for the sheets please? I’ve been trying different methods between sublimation and heat transfer, the htv transfer paper peels off after a few washes so I’m looking for something that lasts longer. I don’t want to sell poor quality products. Thanks.
I understand that this process is more or less for 1 piece orders, but man that looks awful. I use DTG for these kind of jobs. A screen printed imprint with an underbased cymk print would look killer and produce the best, brightest, most efficient prints if you had to do more than 5 or 6 of these..
First of all this is not sublimation. This is a iron on. You don't have to cut out sublimation images. Because sublimation is the ink that get pressed into the fabric. What this is very expensive iron on paper. This video was a joke. Sublimation does not need a cricket or a silhouette to be used. You printed on the paper you press it onto the shirt and the paper is throwing away. you cut the paper out and you press the paper on to the shirt that's a iron-on. And most iron-ons you can get from Michaels hobby lobby or Joann's fabric for less money then what this paper cost.
This IS actually different than iron-on craft stuff. The ink that went into the fabric WAS sublimation ink. Just because you're printing directly on the substrate instead of using a transfer paper does not mean that the ink isn't turning into a gas and then dying the fabric. Subli-mate will also work with a mirrored printed sublimation paper also, so it IS indeed sublimation.

would like to know what is the Logiciel name's please!
Hmmm, in the video shows 380 for 40 seconds.

This is the first video I’ve seen where you used a fabric to sub on dark shirt. I just placed an order, thanks for the discount code!
Thankyou for the code. They took $14 off my total. Can't wait till it comes and I can start printing on dark colored cotton shirts.
I recently purchased sublimate sheets and I am loving them!!! Grest review!!
Where do you get them
Same question please
Glad you like them!
@@anastaciajuarez8360 i got them on amazon.
Do you have to cut out the design? Or can you leave whole piece of fabric like you do with regular sublimating?
Yes, you have cut it, the piece stays on the garment
Thanks for the 'schooling'. Good stuff.
I'm testing out a bunch of htv for sublimation now. I ended up getting a white toner printer but still use htv from time to time
how are you liking your white toner printer?
@@estabicha7465 loving it! As all methods it has its cons, but I genuinely like it and think it's a great option for full color prints
is this for ink jet or for sublimation printers and sublimation inks? thank you ahead of time and where can these sheets be boght?
Do you print with regular ink. Or sublimation ink?
What kind of printer do you have, ink or laser? Thanks for sharing

Awesome tutorial!!! I wish I could download my Silhouette studio to my iPad
How would you compare this from a standard transfer with regard to how it feels on the shirt? Will this last longer? What's the difference in thickness?
When you say "standard transfer" You mean a standard sublimation transfer?
@@SouthpawsStudio think she means regular dark inkjet transfer paper
It looks thick and reminds me of printable Sheets for regular printers
When you print with tbis process. Is the image breatheable?
Stupid question but are you printing with ink jet on that or sublimation ink? Cause doesn't the sublimation ink gas up when heated?
did you get a response?
what kind of print is on your shirt , looks cool
I’m just wondering will the sublimate fabric work for an epson wf 7710 printer and can I cut with a cricut machine and heat press with an easy press 2 cricut brand?
Did you try?
I missed the part of "sublimation" in this video...but I did witness Heat Press Vinyl
Will this fade over time or does it last the same amount of time as with regular sublimation? (Hoping that makes sense)
Hello, my name is Patty, your video was vert helpful. I do have a question. On this fabric sheet you use for a sublimation; can you use any ink or does it have to use sublimation ink?
I used sublimation ink. Specifically, Cosmos Ink.
THANK YOU thank you thank you for telling me where those pesky registration marks are!!!! Sheesh!
No problem at all!
Very nice video and well edited. 10/10
Glad you liked it!
This might be a stupid question but why cut it at all? Like if you didn’t do it through silhouette it wouldn’t have the registration marks… and you could press the whole sheet since the white doesn’t have any ink on it?
that won't work with sublimation on Subli-mate/EasySubli. The sheet is the actual white part you're subbing.
Love your videos so very complete and concise thanks I have to try this product
You are so welcome!
I purchased this product and like the feel of it, but it looked good printed on the product but the end result on the shirt was muted; faded. why? and if using verbiage you must mirror the image.
Do you use a regular inkjet printer to print on sublimation paper?
Do you have to cut the design? Can you just leave the sheet in tack and press without cutting?
No, you can 100% press the entire sheet
Isn't sublicotton the same as Printed dark tranfer?
I can see the heat press outline will dissipate ? and how it ?
As a lot of people have ask does this work with sublimation in?, i would like to know before i purchase the fabric.
Yes, it's made for sublimation ink
Wonderful thank you so much for the quick reply. Amazing content as always.
what was the response?
what kind of epson printer do you have
Thanks for sharing!
What's your printer model?
My printer when I print black thier are lines in the black
I thought sublimation was so having ink settle into the fabric and not adding a sheet to the fabric. Help me understand
Sublimation originally works great with light color polyester fabrics. The higher the polyester the better the print. This is just a way to get Sublimation to show on dark fabrics and cotton shirts
What machine did the cut
I may have to try that. Thanks for the info!
Any time!
Did you get to try it?
Isn't sublicotton just like Dark printable transfer paper? I need to do a side by side comparison.
I've never used that particular stuff
What kind of fabric did u used? Seems like u forgot to include in ur info box. Tnx
hello, it's the TUSY heat press good?? how long you have that machine?
I love it.. Mine has been solid. Had it for around 2 years now.
Is this sublimation ink or regular ink through the 7720?
Sublimation Ink
are you using the same printer you use for sublimation?
How do you line up registration Mark's on the cameo?
What kind of epson printer do you have?
WF-7720

Awesome thxs for sharing
Do you sell some of your printing designs anywhere? I love them
Does this work with any printer or just Epson
how does it feel on the shirt.. it seems to look similar to the printable HTV paper.. can you feel it on the shirt?
It’s a little different that Easy Subli and HTV.. it feels more like a fabric
Can this be done on Cricut explore air 2?
What's the brand of the shirt?
Can this be done with cricut
Sure can, there is just more of a size limitation. Abcdesignz4u uses a Cricut all the time!
Yes, it's a Mac/Windows kinda difference. Both do the same things but take two different paths.
Tammy if you try it let me know! I’ve used easy subli with my cricut and can’t get it to cut it off. I can’t figure out which setting yo use.
Where u order sheets from?
How does it hold up in the wash?
Are you using sublimation ink?
Do you have to cut it?
What would happen of I didn't have a cutter and just pressed it on to the shirt or cut with scissors
I did my first one yesterday and it turned out great, I don't have a cutter but needed the entire sheet.
In the UK we call it Teflon Paper.
Is it stretchy?
Same press I got
How does it hold up in a wash test how long it lasts before pealing off
I seen in a few other videos sublimation doesn’t necessarily fade but heat transfer eventually will
Is this company based out of the US?
Yes, Cali based
Hello! Can you use 50% cotton / 50% polyester shirts? Also are you using sublimation ink?
Thx!🙂
You can, but I always try to get as close to 100% poly as possible. The colors on 50/50 are quite muted after wash.
Hi, you did not point out if standard ink is used or sublimation ink.
What printed did you use?
Printer
Awesome but really expensive to do it this way.
What about bigger than 4x
So u don't have to use sublimation ink
It's not sublimation
Yes that is sublimation ink
What is he printing on?
is the printer a sublimation printer?
like these products
Why did you have to cut the design out of the paper. Why can't you press the whole sheet
seems like the paper is just a piece of fabric not sublimation paper. So basically you are hot gluing two pieces of fabric together.
Did he say 2hrs ?
You can also dry the ink under a heated platen much faster. Just don't close the heat press while drying.
And that's on a 100% cotton shirt?
yes, 100% cotton black shirt
Just checked the web page. They charge $48 for 15 sheets. Not worth it at all

What he didn't tell you was that it's not a cotton shirt
I love that you used a lot of colors but it seems dull. The colors aren't vibrant at all.
Are you the person off mercari ? That blocked me for some damn littlest petshop
I've actually never heard of Mercari until now, so sorry, not me.
Yes it was 100 percent him
To anyone that cares, That coupon code is EXPIRED at this point -_-
let me get with them right quick. I bet I can get it renewed!
also, currently "southpaw" (All lower case) is still working!
It's fixed and working again!
The picture on ur video and the final design on the T-shirt looks different and not the same .. the final design color are not vibrant and blend
my latest video actually addresses this.. I found a way to make it look better.
2 hours?!
Thanks for sharing. Just my feedback but this method looks terrible because it just looks like a piece of fabric sitting there even after pressing
Great video but that's not a great result in my opinion. The artwork came bad out of the printer..
