    To everyone who is complaining about the game:
    You realize how much time and effort was put into this right? Code Parade, the orignal creator of the game, had to work hard on not only the 3d fractals, but the physics, hitboxes and contact, shading issues, noneuclideun surfaces and more. I do see things that can be improved, but it's tough to do everything on your own, and what you see here was hard enough. Be grateful.

    • @AiNaKa
      @AiNaKa 4 ปีที่แล้ว +54

      honestly, with the work of a single person, I'm genuinely impressed by this. I don't see anything to complain about but maybe the repetitive music, but that wasn't even him who made the music.

    • @michaelscott848
      @michaelscott848 4 ปีที่แล้ว +76

      I think the main issue with people complaining is not the amount of work put in, that doesn’t make it a good game, but the fact that it is a proof of concept, code parade said it himself, it is not meant to be a good game, it is meant to be an interesting game that proves you can have 3 dimensional interaction with fractals

    • @unepintade

      Of course its hard work, but that doesn't mean its good, you cant praise this as a game because theres another billion people trying to make a good game, everybody puts effort, if they all are praised then it doesn't mean nothing, the game as it is its not good because its only a system to show the fractals, give praise where it should be

    You could easily use this for filler terrain mapping on procedurally aided design. Things like horizon zero dawn. That or a texture overlay to a chaotic 3d poly such as mossy water or leaves on a tree ect. Basically proper use of this fractal renderer could save huge amounts of processing power for things like open worlds or travelling instances like tunneling through a planet or just anywhere you need "stuff" that isn't a part of your primary design scheme.

      in order to render fractals such as these, you have to run complex mathematical operations up to hundreds of times per pixel, per frame. Polygons are way more efficient for games on the whole. Also, since the fractals are essentially just mathematical equations, modifying them to suit your needs in most games is difficult, unless of course the whole gimmick of the game is that it is made of fractals.

      @@keenanstrauss7898 look, noneuclidian stuff, fractals, etc are trippy. The fact that you are addicted to something doesn't change the fact that if you watch stuff like this in VR it will be the same as if you were on acid or something similar. You can go waste your life away on something unhealthy if done too much, but if you've seen unreal engine 5, and combine it with noneuclidian VR games, it will be the same. Look, if you wanna experience it in your room you can even set up AR scanners on the environment for the game to be played at. Hallucinogenic drugs are way more expensive than this, and if ur going broke for a few trips and then a few more and then a few more, that's fine by me. If you have the cash, fine by me too. But you should always seek something of same quality, which can and will happen in the near future at an affordable price.

      @@duck3892 this is a testament to how little people actually understand psychedelics, it's nothing close to only being visual, it's a literal flipping of chemical switches in the brain. I haven't tried psychedelics btw but I'm very experienced with their affects on people, watch someone go through a DMT trip and you'll realize it's much more than a visual anomaly, sorry I'm in a bit of an argumentative state right now, just got done having a rant in the Instagram comments about how white privilege is just another institution of racism, and how I don't understand why everyone hates me for being white when I have a heart of gold 😭

      Watch the vid by CodeParade, he did this as a graphical proof of concept. The maps you see are 3d fractals that are WAAAAY more complicated than they look, and he explains the genius way he figured out how to render these without it tanking your processor (you still need a good GPU but thats normal for anything high res)
