I had an idea a while back for a Minecraft map that used command blocks to teleport you around. Seeing this, I know that changing orientation like that would be even better. Now I wish someone would hurry up and make it.
Despite there not being anything even remotely scary, this video has left me with a very uneasy and uncomfortable feeling and I don't have a name for that feeling. But I don't like this feeling.

It's the craziest thing, you branch out from that room with that glass room overlooking that whole grassy scene, and finally you end up getting gravitationally launch through the the glass pane, It's even trippier if you look upwards on the way out from the room, trust me, you'll love it. ^^

I would like to see a game that is built on a truly non-euclidean space, where there are no portals, just consistent non-euclidean geometry. Yes portals between rooms is non-euclidian, but the rooms themselves are still euclidian. The space is "locally euclidean". Whereas the video I linked gives an example of consistent non-euclidean geometry, where every subspace within that space is still non-euclidean. Edit2: a few months after I wrote this comment, a new game called hyperbolica came out and it's a real hyperbolic game, I recommend checking it out!
I agree, during all the gameplay the only thing shown is that "the windows give view on a big desert yet there's a room next!!!". I've seen so much portal and 3d screen "non euclidian spaces" I didn't even get it was supposed to be non euclidian. And changing gravity is quite well euclidian.
So weird to think a game that came out two and a half years ago captured the elegiac-aura/liminal-space aesthetic that started taking off in 2020 so perfectly that they even threw in the obligatory vaguely unsettling '90s video game music.
You can't exactly see in 4Ds. You can see representations of 4d objects in 3d like you can draw a 3d object on a 2d piece of paper. I suggest looking into 4d objects, there are loads of videos about it
I kinda wanted the character to fall "past" the current planet/painting and observe all the other presented planets in the gallery, even if just briefly
People confuse non euclidean with warped space because of Lovecraft, who was scared of anything related to math or technology. (One of his horror stories was pretty much about air conditioning.) Non euclidean geometry is actually any geometry that describes curved surfaces.

Wow. this game really needs strafe jumping. the amount of times you tried to jump to another door, while backing up first to gain 'momentum'....then miss it by like 1 cm or something... I wanted you to have air control so bad to see what the rooms would of been like
