Got the glue from Amazon today and applied it to all of my foam hinges. Thanks again for a great tip. Dave, the Old Fat Guy Flying RC in the scorching hot parched desert formerly known as East Texas.

Thanks it is a great product, I can not tell you just how many tubes I have gotten from Amazon. Try not to fry up out there!

Greg, After you apply this glue, do you keep moving the surface until it dry's? Thanks in advance my friend! 👍😬

I will do a full range of movement once or twice just to help spread the glue. The Hold the foam remains flexable and as long as you put on a thin layer it will not hurt the movement of the control surface.

FGFRC, please check your twin timber. It seems there are hinges on the rudder and yet the foam is still intact. Yesterday I noticed my foam was no longer intact. The hinge had not come loose. And was still properly deflecting, but when it was centered it had become sloppy because the foam had broken. I will be using blenderm tape to try to remedy the situation. I don't want to pull the rudder off just to replace the cloth/CA hinges with pin hinges unless i have to.

Yeah they used foam hinges and backed up with some mechanical one but the foam dictates the flow of how it moves. Blenderm tape will fix that.

Very interesting for sure. Never thought of this. It doesn't stiffen the hinge making it more difficult to move?

No not at all, it is like a thin layer of rubber.

or U can replace with real hinges something I do if the foam hinge starts to fail

Always a good option , but this will prolong the time until you are forced to do that.
