    Looks like a good problem to have. You still have room for at least a few more! I'm thinking about getting the Horizon Hobby 3-D Extra 300. You should get it a do some videos on it!! Haha. You have room! Great video.

    And I thought my hangar was bad, I have a mere 20. I'm a paint contractor, cabinets mainly, and overspray and RC planes don't mix well. So I'm my tool storage room I have tall ceilings so did the whole 1" PVC thing as well.
    Works great and keeps them up out of my way.
    Still, dude, you've got a lot!

      Well I've only been doing it a couple years, I'm in my '60s retired military aircraft mechanic and have my private pilots ticket.
      This is how I fly now, I see my collection growing. One thing I've learned from you is I still have all my airplanes, there have been crashes but when I first started this hobby I didn't believe that you could keep an airplane for that long. So much fun, I've learned a lot from you. Thank you!

    O happy man! You could sell tickets to your cave, just compose an interesting legend to tell :)
    I managed to hide my "Widgeon" to the native box, to transport it to our field, and hanged two planes to the walls in my apartment, nose down, to "mark my place", to a great sadness of my wife.

      @@FatGuyFliesRC Maybe this thing is way obsolete, but the labor shouldn't be wasted.
      First of all, you are one of my teachers in RC, and I appreciate your passion and ability to adjust and fly so many interesting RC planes. I like you thorough approach so much.
      Finally, after your videos I decided to take my favorite "FliteTest Widgeon".
      Maybe, you would forgive me for the following, but I have an interesting concept for you.
      I watched many of your videos and noted plenty far-from-perfect and very similar takeoffs and landings, despite of your huge RC experience. And the best ones were when you
      - forget to flare "by the rules",
      - stood step aside of the touchdown line;
      - and touchdown near yourself.
      I don't want to teach you something, all of us overlook something time to time, but use the friend's eye.
      What's to admit:
      Frequently, you stand behind the aircraft tail during takeoff, and also land aircraft at yourself, at the movement axis.
      In this position, you can't see and estimate your plane's speed at this moment. Standing slightly (couple of steps) aside the movement line will permit to estimate easily both horizontal and vertical speed components.
      On the takeoff, you time after time "tear off" your plane (specially fast ones) before it gains enough speed and lifting force. It happens when you stand at the movement line. The plane drops a wing, and there are variants possible, from falling down, to struggle and proceed the climb. The airstrip in your club is very long, you could use it in a whole, approaches are open and unobstructed. But to see where your plane is, what is the horizontal and vertical speed components, plane's orientation, it is good to see a little from a side.
      The same thing is with landings. You are trying to observe the "last inch" rule in a literal sense and to flare at any price. But what's going on again and again:
      - You approach with a throttle, descending and keeping moderate horizontal speed over stall minimum (ok),
      - then in the air you put the throttle off (ok for some planes, not ok for some ones),
      - and ... "flare", trying for some reason to keep altitude at one level without a throttle (time to time the plane even climbs slightly). And the altitude is quite high, about a foot or two, it's not a "last inch" in scale.
      I understand that you are trying to slow plane's speed as much as possible, RC planes flare too, but, AFAIS, at 99% of cases you approach already at a nice slow speed, there is nothing to brake.
      Then, if our unfortunate plane doesn't want to glide for a long time, it looses the lift and stalls, falling on one wing, or diving forward, and dropping itself on the ground, from foot or two. Many planes don't want to land themselves like the "Bixler" does. Not nice, and could result in some damage.
      Frequently, you do this ("tear up") in a fraction of seconds, with mathematical accuracy (human organism is a very accurate computer), and a wing drops again and again.
      In other words, the wings should keep some lift until resting on the wheels steadily.
      I thought what to do, and my FliteTest "Widgeon" told me something. It's a hydroplane, and there is another technique to land it - on a water or grass. When the calm water is like a mirror, it is hard to estimate, how high you are. It is complicated to flare, so don't flare. Then, the pilot should barely keep some descent speed, and wait for touching a water. Another thing, the "Widgeon" doesn't glide at all (glides at a very steep angle and high vertical speed), and demands slight thrust till the touching. One time I even forgot to put the throttle off, and kept taxiing our field for some time. "Flitetest" so frightened me by their instructions, and I love this plane so much, that I forgot all my flaring knowledge.
      I think,
      1. Do not try to flare at all, in it's classical understanding.
      2. And maintain enough minimum horizontal speed, and small vertical-down speed, drowning till the touchdown - with the throttle if needed.
      Consider the trottle curve with its Zero as a continuous graph. A glider doesn't need throttle at final approach, it needs sometime a negative-throttle with "crowbrake"; the "Widgeon" needs some positive throttle till touching down, it "glides" with props working. You could reduce the vertical component more at the last moment. Some planes touchdown with zero throttle.
      3. Try to land near yourself, to control both vertical and horizontal speeds.
      4. Don't try to land "at any price".
      5. Go to another circle when something goes wrong.
      6. The second thing which you could to try at maiden (after basic trimming) is to try a plane's approach behavior and touch-and-go several times, anyways you'll need to return sooner or later.
      With experience, the vertical speed will bleed at the moment of touching (like mathematical limit), and the plane wouldn't bounce.
      The throttle itself depends on gliding abilities of the particular aircraft. To keep both vertical and horizontal speeds at minimum, we
      - give some throttle (ventilate the wings) till the wheels stand on the ground;
      - or simply glide (bixler-like planes, Cessna etc.);
      - or even give some spoilers (glider at a short runway).
      I like the challenging-on-the-landing aircraft.
      Certainly, you could try a "Space-Shuttle-style" approach, with dive and leveling at the last moment, but it demands lots of airstrip.
      I don't want to say that all my lansings are perfect, but I am in continuous learning process. For instance, the H-King Skipper XL on the grass runway has a very classical plane behavior. It will bounce hard, if landed with excess speed, both vertical and horizontal, and drops the wing being "overflared". The Volantex Phoenix 2000 doesn't flare at all, if you flare, it drops the nose and gains speed, and knocks against Earth in a hard manner.
      I think that landing can be a very beautiful and interesting maneuver itself.
