Roger jinxed himself saying nobody crashed yet cause right after he crashed and then two other riders crashed his personal wheels he was letting them use on the track and then I crashed as well 😂 Thanks again for bringing the new wheel out for all of us to play with
Well Jack should be happy. It seemed to impress a bunch of guys likely to buy it. As a first effort it got a lot right. Being a start up with only 15 employees I think they will be able to react quickly on improvements. A seat/trolley handle suspension cover and more pointy pedal spikes could be a start.
Agree. Even if they could set it to zero, it would still do what the Lynx .09/.11/.12 FW does. No offence to Jack and Co. but they should look into what changed between Lynx .07 and later versions and correct. I hope LK does the same.
i like what roger says, Set it to the lowest and work your way up from the pedal scrapes, maximize that low center of gravity. so many custom variables that the end user can configure, PSI, ShockBrand, Tire, Powerpads, Backing Plates, I like the 3rd part after market to have a sector to fill.
Yes, I know and I have done that. It's not necessarily easier (from my experience of doing it) because the tire isn't always easy to push/pull. Plus, scratches the front handle. Thanks.
I think that Nosfet should come up with their own wheel, this is essentially a Leaperkim wheel. A little surprised in Jack here since he seems to be the type to come up with a new project from the bottom up.
Agreed, but the expense of developing your own electronics, battery system, and motor is great. I imagine that if this wheel is a success for them they will have more resources (money) to develop their own hardware for future wheels.
I think this is the second or third video of yours I've clicked on because the thumbnail suggested an action-packed review, lol. Every time, I end up clicking away after just a few minutes of you talking to the camera next to an EUC. I would suggest riding the EUCs, preferably with a third-person view using an action camera, and discussing everything in a voice-over. That way, you could get even more views, in my opinion.
Thanks for your comment. I'm not here to earn money so I make content that I like instead of chasing "views". Some people enjoy my content, others don't. Such is life 🙂
Roger probably already knows the mechanics saying. The customer is always wrong and so we're all prior mechanics. Wishing you nice success and to be well Mr Ronger.
The adjustment on the suspension on the APEX is still a bit cumbersome and not addressing where the community wants to go. The best simple language that I can come up with to describe the future of unicycling is Digital. Digital Unicycling boldly steps forward in where we really wish our suspension should go. As we compare linkages to slider hydraulics, I do not know what will come out more efficient coil digital suspension, rail gun suspension, and how much having a linkage will affect a digital unicycle. Thinking digitally with unicycles will make unicycles safe as we can adjust suspension on the fly for dirt or pavement. Digital tire change is in our future, we just have to reconsider what a rim is and how it holds onto the rubber. Great video Marty! You have wonderful friends, please let them know how much you appreciate them! ...and give Roger more crap. He's going to end up in the hospital unless he spends more time learning how the e20 works!
What you’re requesting was called the “Bose Active Suspension” and has been too expensive to implement in vehicles designed to last less than 10 years. Unfortunately, this tech will have to wait a while before EUCs adopt the upgrade.
Really good video, thank you for the entertainment and great to see nobody got injured! My first powerfull wheel was MSP and I do miss the feeling, I just want to try this on lowest setting
Loved to see the APEX on the track However there are a few things to address: 1. *Pedal behaviour*: the pedal behaviour is weird as the wheel was not calibrated properly, we've calibrated pre shipment but it's always good to calibrate when you get the wheel unboxed. We've tested with more than a dozen units at the company and they all act normally after proper calibration. 2. *Bottomed out Suspension: The suspension are in the vertical position = the middle which meant it wasnt open = hard suspension feel and felt like it was bottoming out. 3. *Suspension Adjustment* It's recommended to follow the same procedure as the tutorial video to lay the feel flat on its front bumper, the release of tension of the weight of the wheel and minus Roger sitting on it will make it significantly easier to adjust.
We've talked about this a bit. The shock was "mostly" in the Open position but we were switching it around during the day. These guys know how shocks work 🙂 It may have looked like Roger was sitting on the wheel, but trust me, he was not applying any weight. Overall, the wheel was received extremely well by everyone who rode it 👍
Hey Jack, respectfully, please check out Trub's recent Short he posted. Calibrating doesn't fix the pedal issue, or not for long, at least. Something's different after LK Lynx FW .07. Just before 21 mins, Roger says it's still doing it. Pretty sure that's after calibration.
Who was juggling in the background. I bomb all over town, across fields and some trails on my t4 while juggling. I'm trying to decide on new wheel . Xway looks great(until next week when 10 more wheels drop!)

Hello Marty, to adjust the suspension height, lay the wheel on its front headlight and then just slide it. You save time and make it easier!
Yes, I know and I have done that. It's not necessarily easier (from my experience of doing it) because the tire isn't always easy to push/pull. Plus, scratches the front handle. Thanks.
They should get leathers, it's more fun to slide on the asphalt
The most solid peddle hanger I've seen yet. No adjustment though.
The quick adjust suspension hight is a very cool looking thing.

That adjustable suspension travel has me sold 🤙⚡
Love it!!! Require a suspension adjustment written examination before the practical examination. LOL.😊
