Tinman, you may be learning, but you are also a great teacher. Thank you. I'm 63 years old and am enjoying learning as you teach. Stay safe and enjoy life.
That saw rips, looks like a perfect reliable work saw ;) just a little tip to help you out: If you put some sawdust between the two wedges when doubling up, it stops them from drifting apart when you hit them :)
Gotta love the sound of a pine wood campfire / popcorn in a microwave idle. Of that saw. Literally releases endorphins or serotonin or whatever. Takes you to a happy peaceful place
Tinman your the best, explain everything just like we were standing next to you. 👍👍😎. Awesome channel fun to watch it grow. So glad Harvey sent me over when you were getting started. 😁😎 Pat from nw Wisconsin
Ah yes good old Manitoba spruce and pine, saw's get a lot of run time liming around here know it well. I burn through as much if not more gas and bar oil just trimming than I do bucking but that's what we have here so you make the best of it. Anyways thanks for sharing your time with everyone, take care.
Very brave Tinman, we can all watch these pro fallers and learn their techniques, but we don't have the practice, doesn't matter, as long as we put their safety lessons first and foremost, be humble, you did well !
Hey Tinman, I love how trees two, three and four did a little bounce then slid up right beside number one! Well done. Doesn’t matter if your dutchman isn’t perfect on the first pass as long as you clean it up to where you want before felling it.
Nice cutting Tinman ✊🏻🇦🇺that saw sounds and cuts awesome. Your giving me flashbacks of a guy called Billy RaySmith. Luv ya buddy✊🏻🇦🇺great to see you cutting Tinman …
Hey tinman. Hope you are well. You mentioned bouncing off the rev limiter. I would have thought this build would have an unlimited coil. What does it have? What’s your thoughts on rev limiters on saws in the 65-75cc range? I’ve been trying to find an unlimited coil for my 391 that I am working on. It’s limited to 13k but I think it would happily run a few more RPM than that after the port job. I would just tune it by ear in the wood and have a burble at WOT when I lift up. Do you usually do unlimited coils in your builds? Thanks tinman.
Great saw and power. One caution, though I am no expert, is you made the backcuts first and then the front wedge? Wow that looks dangerous as you are standing in the direction of fall when checking the wedge depth. The tree could easily fall on you, especially if rotten.
Holy cow that saw is just transfer work with no exhaust or intake timing from iron horse?? Dang she’s a ripper for sure. Makes a fella wonder… thanks tinman for another awesome vid. See you on the next one
Hey tinman love your videos and the question of the day I always pay attention never know what you could learn. Hope all is well. Picked up a 372xp will be going back through you vids carefully
A tin man question for you buddy I'm just learning how to adjust chainsaw carburetors the question I have for you is I got my saw to run but when I first started in the morning it will not fire up without me holding the trigger and giving it some throttle should I adjust the high or low and which way should I turn it in or bring it out the high or low also could have just be that I need to adjust the idle thank you so much God bless
hello tinman I am probably one of your oldest viewers but love your videos I am 90 years young and I still work on chainsaws I have a Mccullough timberbear and the cylinder on the exaust side is a v grove in the roof of exhaust port about 3.16 wide and goes on up into the inside of the cylinder and tapers to a point about 3/4 inch do you have any comment on that I am pretty sure all timberbear have this and so does 610 exhausts opens sooner and slower
I wish y'all would keep your Canadian geese up on your side of the border I got mauled by one as a teenager swimming in a pond and they shit every where cool saw love it

All you 372 husky guys. Its time to switch to a Echo 7310 hot rod... longer stroke more torque better filtration no auto tune, more ccs and cheaper to maintain....

Harvey is a very humble man and easy to talk to,I ran into him and his son a few years ago in the street in front of the local gun store

Harvey knows his stuff, and I would be enclined to say that getting a saw from him is almost like a "gift from God". Cheers

Thinking about getting me an old obs 454 dually. I love the gm obs perfect price of equipment.
Purdy good runin saw buddy have a good weekend.
I cut the second from the bottom raker off on my 372. It seemed to always be the culprit when my saw stopped while dogging in. It worked.
Hey Tinman,
I love how trees two, three and four did a little bounce then slid up right beside number one! Well done. Doesn’t matter if your dutchman isn’t perfect on the first pass as long as you clean it up to where you want before felling it.

I was watching Ironhorse build one. He's building a sleeper for Buckin Billy.
I never would have guessed, but Ironhorse lives about an hr and half from me in Upstate NY based on his video of nephew's house flooding
It has been "IRONHORSED"! 👍
Man, DOES THAT EVER SOUND GOOD!!!
If there was no port grinding what are the build specs?
A tin man question for you buddy I'm just learning how to adjust chainsaw carburetors the question I have for you is I got my saw to run but when I first started in the morning it will not fire up without me holding the trigger and giving it some throttle should I adjust the high or low and which way should I turn it in or bring it out the high or low also could have just be that I need to adjust the idle thank you so much God bless

Can you port my saw? I just want to hang it on my living room wall. Thanks from Beverly Hills. Can you sign it?
WILL PULL A 32” NO PROB?

Hey Tinman! Are you still just running 87octane with opti 2 in all yer saws?
I'm running 91 lately as thats the only ethonal free I can find. I don't find they run any different with the higher octane.
Have you ever hopped up a 346xp?
Great great saw stk however wicked once turned up. My favorite husky ever in that class size
When are you gonna get to a Partner 5000 Plus?
I have one some where here
@@tinmanssaws That’s what you said half a year ago too… GET A MOVE ON! No just yanking your chain, not literally though.. but you know what I mean
What makes this saw sound so bad ass?!?
im impressed tinman .
How do I remove a piston from the cylinder? If mouse urine was in there I’ve tried BB blaster acetone, tranny fluid still no luck.
Try kroil / oil
From Knano
A gunsmith's penetrating oil .
😎👍

o machado e a motosserra (the axe and the chainsaw)
entraram junto no mato pra mostrar a serventia
a motosserra roncava machado velho tinia
e naquele matagal foi só cavaco de pau pó de serra que subia
e esse grande duelo deste jeito é que termina
na briga das ferramentas o machado é que domina
motosserra parou cedo ali no tronco da quina
machado seguiu cortando mata grossa e mata fina
motosserra impotente rebentou sua corrente acabou a gasolina
Not wearing cutting chaps? Awe man, thats not too wise.
Chaps are ok but fallers pants like I'm wearing are not only more comfortable but provided a higher level of protection.
All you 372 husky guys. Its time to switch to a Echo 7310 hot rod... longer stroke more torque better filtration no auto tune, more ccs and cheaper to maintain....
No thanks
I got to say this video is the first time iv ever seen anyone run powersaw in yoga pants!! Lol
