That's a perfect work saw build. I agree with your comments about the 372 with a 50mm bore vs the 52mm big bore. Pulling a long bar in big wood you will notice the torque difference.
Tinman do yourself a favor and put a winch on the front of your weasel. I’d tell ya to get a dump bed insert too but I know you haul water. I’m the same way working on acreage all the time and having a winch and a farm jack definitely keeps me having options around the homestead. I use my winch for plowing and pulling trees outta the woods to stuck vehicles
That 372 looks good! I just sold my single ring 371XPG yesterday. It was a nice saw, but I found myself grabbing my 500i over it every time. I’ll probably regret that later!
Love my 371 with nothing but a base gasket delete, mine has a double ring piston though Really want a 500i but would have to sell some stuff to get one
@Leave_Nothing_Stock Yeah it's a 7900. It only has an hour of run time so far, well until this weekend. Only thing I've done is added a port and scoop to the muffler and gutted. Do ya have a good port history with em? If so I wouldn't be against shipping it. Thanks
Firewood guys need to take a second thought...a 1x10 10 foot is north of 25 bucks now...I bought a bandsaw mill...much more profitable than burn wood...less customers too... Great videp
Another good film 👍I have a question for you. I'm looking at porting an a very Stihl 021, it has a double adjustable carb and only one web on the crank 😮 Because of the was the saw is designed you cant do a base gasket delete so I was going to fit a pop up piston, and just clean the ports raise the exhaust a fraction but on the inlet I was thinking of removing a small amount off the skirt of the piston rather than removing material off the cylinder, have you heard of this done before. Keep up the good work Tim
Unrelated video but worth a shot. I have a 576xp (2012) with a damaged crank bearing (lower needle bearing) cases are fine. Any thoughts on using a 372xp crank? They have same stroke and bearing shaft size is same.
Hey Friend , I like your Husqvarna vids , well all of them really. Can you tell me if there are any differences between a 365 sp and a 372 xp other than bore diameter? I think I need a big bar too. What your doling looks much more easyer than getting close in with a 20" . Thanks and keep up the great information vids .
@@tinmanssaws Thank you for your prompt reply. I have an original down to every bolt and screw oem 365SP I bought back in 2000. It’s been a great saw and I am trying to revive a mixed matched 372XP which is mostly aftermarket parts and I find your vids very helpful.
Hey tinman! I’m looking to rebuild one of these, what brands would you recommend for replacement parts? I see a lot of options when looking for parts and its hard to tell what brands are quality.
Maaaaan I need to start learning how to weld up pipes. That saw is a monster. Seems like nice cutting weather you have. How stronger is hogans 266 vs your 266se? Thank you tinman for the quality content

And I think you are the right Man to carry on the tradition! !
Harvey builds one heck of a beast. Very smart builder 👍
That is one saw that absolutely does not skip a beat.
Holy Mackerel!
I could hear that all the way here in Pennsylvania, lol!
Super job, Harvey. ! 💪
Hey buddy, thanks for always taking the time to be here!! I appreciate you!!
I was listening to it and watching then I closed my eyes and listening to it and that is a very very supper strong running saw.
I believe he roughed up the intake, but didn’t change the timing❤❤
I don't comment on many videos but I have to say, that saw doesn't miss a lick. From idle to full throttle it's ready.
I agree it's a very stable build, I'm glad folks are noticing!!
Fine saw,not a single hickup and bites the wood.😎💪
Great running saw
An Ironhorse built saw would a dream
Thank you for taking us along
so many choices!!! hahaha!!
in love my 2163 to 2177 convert! cuts like hell!

Love watching you run a saw. Some people with a long bar still be bending all the way over. It hurts my old back just watching😁
Wow, what a build! Only thing wrong with it is I don't have one yet! Lol
Man that saw sounds good. Great job Mr. Harvey The Ironhorse.

More than one way to skin a cat. Watching you work that saw it looks like the perfect deal! Nice saw Harvey!
That's I really nice strong saw there boy!
Good saw,sharp chain....... good times!!!
Hell of a runner, crisp and strong. Sounds like it's had a muffler mod as well
Yeah, Harvey built it a pipe.
There it is! So nice that saw!
Great video Tinman and a great work saw

If it wasn’t for my work giving out very generous bonuses every year, I’d never get one!
The 500i is a tough saw to put down for sure
Hay Tinman ,that saw rips and sounds awesome 👌 cheers man .
I Want An Ironhorse 395XP 😮😮❤️ That Saw Is Incredible
What a ripper!!! I keep dreaming about getting my dolkita ported, no one messes with em tho. Harvey is the man!! You too Tinman ✊️
Where are you located?

@IronMan are we talking a 7900? I'm out in California but u build em. I've got a new one coming in this week for a customer

Cool nice saw tinman
Good running saw!!!
This was a great video! Like how that 372 runs!
Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
Hey Martin, thanks for being here!!
Them new husqy bars look sharp
That 372 Runs and sounds so good!
That’s a nice saw works nice 👍👍👍😎
Harvy chose you for your integrity !
Man that thing does good for stock numbers! I like it
@@nseric1233 go watch the vids , not stock at all , they are there for you to see
@@nseric1233 a stock saw isn't coming close the ring alone and weight of the piston is enough
Nice saw, I perfer the low top myself, just a personal preference, I like the look better. But it's a screamer for sure. TC Mahalo Tinman 🤙🤙🤙

It's a common move to alter timing by cutting the I take skirt. It works quite well.

Pretty sure they have the same crank. It's the pro side bearing that's different.
Tinman, great ripper there..I saw Harv tested it before send it your way. Ey, will you be willing to port a Homelite 550 on the channel?

Hi, they are exactly the same same saw except for the piston and cylinder. Some older 365s may have a different carb on them as well.

Nice running husky
Dude, what is the exhaust on that thing?? This is exactly what I want my 372 to sound like!
It's an iron horse built pipe, wrapped in a "stock" muffler
Hi everybody hope everyone is having a blessed day
Hey Daniel thanks for always posting such positive comments!! It's much appreciated!!
Werks! Werks Veddy Goot!😅
Our Australian hardwoods are good at killing bars and chains.
I bet
It's why we don't use full chisel chain here, it dulls that sharp point real quick.
Yea i wish we could send these guys a huge log if it would be cool for the channel. /s

Thank you tinman for the quality content
My 266se is only 66ccs, it's just a mild worksaw build.
IRON HORSE WANTS YOU TO STEP UP IN HIS SHADOW !!!
Yes he sure does, I'm about certain, dont count uncle harve out yet!
