Chef Uni, the abang or owner of the restaurant, is undoubtedly a well-spoken citizen of Ipoh who is knowledgeable and friendly about cultures and promotes information about the Ipoh area. I think Tim, you are fate to meet the great people when you are hungry or the need to find the restaurant. Like the nasi lemak lady :)

This is the first time I watched your video and it made my heart beat fast. I was so worried that you wouldn’t be able to catch the train!
Durian is known as the king of fruits, and mangosteen is known as the queen of fruits!
Some people in Southeast Asia eat mangosteen after eating durian. According, it is said that way can bring the best balance to the body!
You said that your backpack is your friend, I feel you are so lonely. This is so sad for me!
Thank you very much for sharing, looking forward to the next episode, I am legend! 💪😁👌

I totally agree with you on the travel arrangements situation when in a new location, it's stressful and fingers crossed that everything will go as planned. Anyways, as far as Malaysia is concerned, all you need to do is ask when you need assistance or direction. Everyone will try their best to help. By the way, Ipoh is a foodies paradise, and the dishes to go for are the Salty chicken, shredded chicken Kueh Teow in clear broth, Tau fu far( Steam Beancurd dessert) and Poached Chicken with steam rice. There's a street called Thong Sui Kai which you must visit in the evenings.😊

But that is a blessing cause you can learn many new things. The world is vast. So take your time and be careful. Ask the local if you don't know something or direction. The locals can help you.

Meeting more authentic Malaysian is easy outside of Kuala Lumpur ,
Cameron highland is nice but the road is scary , maybe for me if I was about to go there by bus 😅 . It's not like genting highland it's more to nature compare to genting , genting got a lot of amusement park casinos clubs etc ,
Going to Cameron alone might be boring but if u got a partner or family then it's more suitable place .
Along the roadside u can see alot local tribal small shop if u are looking for a special gift within peninsular Malaysia then it's half of the jackpot there .
Anyway, enjoy your day and be safe buddy .
