    The middle storage is a wireless charger, good research.

    These are awesome trucks, safe and comfortable for families and towing, perfect for travelling long distances in Australia. ❤️🇦🇺👍

    I'm just here to read about people whining about large vehicles.

    I do like the LTZ, and if I could afford that, I would, just for it's towing ability. But this ZR2 looks great for the Aussie market.

    We Americans love our pickups. Love mine, anyway. :D Met a woman who moved to the US and was absolutely shocked at how many people own trucks. :D

    Hey matt, the front on these 2 models look insane, a standout, overall seems pretty good, I think they missed an opportunity on adding the sensors & a dash cam and a 5 year warranty.

    Great observation on the wireless charger 🤣

    Canadian Silverado ZR2 owner here, noticing some minor differences between the Aus version. It’s wild that this doesn’t have a phone charger in the center console, it’s standard on all Silverado models here. Also, we don’t have a headrest in the center rear seat.

    You also got the bigger Silverado 2500HD in Australia if you want more towing and you should do that review next.

    Hi Matt, the price is spot on for anyone looking at towing 3,500 kilograms when compared to a new Landcruiser. In fact it’s better than the Toyota just mentioned as you can still legally load it up with the higher GVM. However, the size and front end design means it has absolutely no place in a city environment. Can’t park it in shopping car parks without taking up two spaces and it won’t ever get a 5 star ANCAP rating as it’s not pedestrian friendly. Every time I see one in the city I feel sorry for the male driver as he obviously has a well below average sized apendage. 🍆

    Does the motor blow up because of the two cam lifters stop when in fuel saving mode in 10th gear

    • @johnphillips519

      The difference between Toyota and GM is Toyota has acknowledged a quality control issue (thats very unusual for them to have) and are fixing it, GM on the other hand have a serious design issue with these engines that can cause catastrophic engine failure, But are doing nothing about it..........th-cam.com/users/shortsT5INdZynMzE?si=yUI8Hr8UZ8Aa7BjZ

    • @351tgv
      @351tgv 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There is also a class action law suit against GM about there V8 engines from the 5.3L to the 5.7L, 6.0, 6.2 and the turbo diesel 6.6 L
      and yes GMH is affected by that as it goes back to around 2012.

    No one in America are buying these trucks anymore. So they send them here for the blue singlet brigade. It will all end in tears.

    • @ashlogan2049
      @ashlogan2049 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Of course they buy them, and they always will.
      That's why chev, Ford, dodge and Toyota make them

    Nice. The perfect vehicle for the bogan road warriors who like to tailgate while speeding to the drive through bottle shop to pick up their 1 litre Jim Beam and a pack of Winnie blues. See you on Dashcam Australia soon. No thanks.

      You mean like ... not ... in the US, where the majority of these are certainly not sold to farmers and tradies?
      I think it's safe to say that most farmers prefer diesel because that's what they use with their other vehicles. There's a reason why the Landcruiser 70 and all the "normal" utes are offered with diesel engines.
      I've never seen any of these trucks with the typical canopy used by tradies, either. Probably because any half-smart tradie realizes that the fuel bill is a "little" high.

    • @ashlogan2049
      @ashlogan2049 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      For all you naysayers, 2 points.
      1. What's the difference between driving one of these and driving a V8 300 series landcruiser, besides the fact the chevy is about 10 years ahead on comfort, features and tech?
      2. Why not just enjoy your life and let others enjoy theirs. In other words keep your negative opinions to yourself. Each to their own.
      I for one love these, I'm not a bogan, I'm not a farmer.
      But I like big luxury cars that are very capable offroad.
      And nothing beats the sound of a V8.... nothing
