I really love the looks of these trucks, but just hearing a lot about the reliability of these trucks and for the price?!… yeah is hard to get into. I wish they can have some good reliable engines. If they did I think it be somewhat worth the price.
I have a 24 ZR2 with the Duramax. I enjoy the fuel economy with my commute to work. Got a 23Zero RTT on an RCI bed rack. It’s been a great setup for sporadic camping trips. I’m sure the trailboss would’ve been a great truck too. As a GM employee couldn’t pass up the opportunity/deal for my ZR2.
@@eduardoguzman-lw4ct I average 20-22 mixed driving. Long highway trips 26-27. I easily get 500 miles range out of three quarters of a tank. Well if I don’t hot foot it. Diesel has been around $3.10 a gallon since I bought the truck in May.
Has anybody bought one of these to use as a daily driver? How do they do as a daily? I dont currently need to pull anything, but my wife and I want to get a bigger RV in a year or two. Anybody DD one of these 2500's? How is it?
@@atg1338 i don’t travel long distances or tow heavy loads on a daily basis so while I would enjoy the better fuel economy the diesel would give me it’s overkill for my needs
All,trail bosses have the black bow ties. That’s not part of the black essential package. Do some research on what you’re selling before making a video. Small details matter.
If he's a salesman needs some training. 3.0 is available in both for '24. L70 is 305 hp and 495 torque. Chevy should have used Bilstein instead of Rancho on the TB.
Why in the world did Chevy ever decide to put the full length Chevrolet name indented across the tailgate 🫣 that’s so ugly. Just put the bow tie on every tailgate
Neither, I use hd trucks to haul my toys. It's a tool. I picked up a 2500hd duramax custom. And I feel I overpaid at 63 thousand. And that was a good deal? They are overpriced. I would rather put my money into my toys. And they are overpriced as well. But purpose built. Choose your poison .

You won’t be buying a new motor if you use 87/89 lol
Really?
The trucks are designed for two different people. Just depends what you want to do with the truck. Tow or off-road.

What mpg you getting? Really considering the same truck you have

Tow mirrors on a half ton is just weird to me 😂
Ill take the Trail Boss

My money goes to the ZR2 AEV Bison edition. Better IMO
Yeah no shit lol
Amd still almost none of the trail bosses come with adaptive cruise control? Why not? Even most of the premium trim trail bosses do not have acc.
I want a truck like that
A dealership pushing the more expensive model? Say it's not so! 🤣
I wish i made more money the more expensive the truck was.
What about payload and towing whats the differences ?
ZR2 has 8900 max tow vs trailboss diesel at around 9,300 Lbs. Zr2 suspension and gearing makes tow capacity a bit less.
Zr2 doesn’t have HIDS lol both have LED. LED is better than HID
My bad.
Save $25k. You know you ain't gonna off-road a $75k truck!! 😮
The zr2 if you dont need the e lockers is not worth it.
I’d buy a zr2 if it came with the 5.3 liter v8 i don’t want the 6.2 or the diesel
The diesel is an awesome motor....
@@atg1338 yes it is I just don’t need a diesel engine
@@CaptainSolo124 you don't need better mpg ?

@@CaptainSolo124 but diesel does cost more and oil changes are more. So it's probably pretty even after mpg.

You are correct, its dark essentials pkg and thats an option on other silverado models.
Thats why i like ZR2 suspension better.
Big boy truck

Way to much $$$ for a 1/2 ton truck

Should you buy the 70k dollar truck or the 85k dollar truck. FOH
