The only thing that can stop this thunder team from becoming a dynasty is the future contracts each star would most likely demand.

Well it will be in 2026. Till then they only have to decide on joe, Jaylin Williams and hayward.

Jdub, chet and shai. Build around those 3 with all the pics. Can be done

@MeMe-ef5fw you know they are looking at finishing top in the west right....... they have already built the team......but they can still add more bench depth.

Best video I have seen so far discussing okc offense. One small thing about the first Giddey ball screen play is that they use it to counter the “put center on /ignore Giddey on offense” strategy. Good to see it works.

The creativity of the thunders offence caught me off guard when I watch them.
    Their future is bright.
    Great break down coach

The Giddey ball screen role only really works for a few teams considering Giddey is 6'10" as a point guard so i can only think of Banchero or PG who really would fit this role

Great video and excellent analysis. What do you think this offense looks like in the playoffs when the games slow down and are a little more physical?

Great breakdown. The only question I have is that I didn't think it was all that creative. I see teams like Boston and Sacramento doing the same stuff. What I love about OKC is how they keep good spacing while they get into actions quickly. The NBA is a bit boring in that everybody runs a few actions and counter differently based on personnel. I think Denver is similar in how they create space and cut to take advantage of what Joker does best while OKC's players really play off of what Shae does well. I think Giddy looks a bit shaky as the main guy off the short roll because I don't think team respect his finishinig ability. I wonder if a player like Siddiq Bey who's a lot quicker and more confident would be better. They seem to play better when JDub is in for Giddy. I think Giddy has talent, but looks a bit like he's stuck in 2nd gear at times. He has great vision so it would make sense of him to be short roll player, but his lack of aggressiveness might hurt them in the playoffs and I think the hecklers are getting to him after he was exposed but got off from any criminal action. I do love the inversions that you pointed out. It's like they took some of the Princeton concepts and put them into a 5 out framework. I would love to see OKC and Boston play in a finals match up where both teams make 20-25 3s in a game or 2.

Their offensive creativity built upon their consistent outside shooting as good as their defensive grit, without those two no matter how creative you are it's in vain.

Please consider adding some background music, and cutting out those long pauses. You are doing a great work with deep details, but I can see these changes improve your content even more!

Each to their own. I can tell your from the Tik Tok generation. I didn't notice any long pauses. Didn't even cross my mind that background music would add anything in the slightest, my brain doesn't need the distraction, the content is enough for me but you may be right that it would help his channel, not so sure myself though.
