I bought one a month ago. It's much quicker and gets better gas mileage than reported. 0-60 is consistently 3.8 seconds on all weather tires. Thanks for the video.
I’ll be getting mine in late may early June. I’ve priced out every car S3/4,AMG, Acura Type S. And for just over 52k (my build) it’s unmatched. Yes I can get a S3 base for cheaper but a 300hp glorified Golf R for mid/high 40’s is a horrible price to performance ratio. And the AMG 45 starts at 55k. And with AMG (my favorite brand) you get almost no AMG For that money other then the engine and look…and the M240 in testing is performance wise neck and neck with a car that’s the top range in Merc. Let’s not forget the M240 isn’t even a real M car and it keeps up with actual top end performance cars in/around it’s class.
I bought the '22 S3 in October. Beautiful car but totally regret it, the turbo lag is painful, and just feels sluggish overall. Ordered the M240 yesterday.
I'm agree with you, that the reason I have one now :D I didn't like 4 Series coupe, why: I'm living in crazy courd city and it's impossible to find park, four series almost sedan size. i hate big car because all car geting biggeer and biggeeer! we love compact and fast car!
i would, but its over 50.000 € which is what an apartment did cost 15 years ago. its just too much for a car in my opinion. especially for a 2 series. everything got 30 to 60% more expensive in the last 5 years.
Are the tops of the door panels still hard plastic? That's a MAJOR fail in the F87 M2c. My wife's Kia Soul has better materials on the door panels. Sadly it looks like it might still be hard plastic?
My 2013 328i xDrive with 94k now surprisingly had almost no issues outside of obvious maintenance. Only issue I ever had (engine wise) was having to replace the thermostat about a month ago. Waiting on my M240i I just ordered, end of May/Early June is what I was quoted.
The problem with this car is that the new RS3 exists. Better engine, better transmission. Exterior looks are debatable, interior I'd definitely give to the 240i.

This body had so much potential too. Who the hell is the designer at BMW right now? The gloss black plastic on the outside lower trim is going to look like shit in a few years, and the front end cowls have absolutely no flow at all with the bumper. Seems like the koreans plucked all the good designers from the germans

Literally bought one 2 days after it came to the dealership. The inline 6 cylinder makes this the best coup I've ever owned!

That's what the reviewers say but I doubt it when it has a slow shifting transmission when compared to a DCT. Yes I know awd plays a part.
@@benquinones45 I'm used to a dual-clutch transmission and this shifts just as quickly. If it is slower, it is imperceptible.

How long did they tell you the wait was. I did my order about 2wks ago as well.

Oh no, I just noticed it has the small round exhaust pipes within large chrome surrounds (fake exhausts) - I would have to change that if I got one.

Did a good job with all the pans so we could see all the details. So many people put the camera in their own face for most the video unfortunately.

the instrumental dials are horrendous. The RPM and MPH edge display is not attractive at all. The classic circle dials are a must.
