I'll make a slight correction.🤗 In Japan, graduation from kindergarten through university occurs around the end of March. The final exams for the subjects that Fami is registered for are in January 2025. So, Fami is planning to graduate from university in March 2025.

Both excellent bass players, Miho - in my opinion - more introverted, often a pensive face; Fami - when she smiles (and she does that a lot) can dispel all the dark clouds within nanoseconds. But before I forget: I hope that Miho is doing great (again). Let's never forget that it was she - together with Haruna - who gave us this unique band. And I will always be grateful for it.

"Bravehearted" is the only (so far) official song Haruna has composed for the band, and it's also the only song that has a Japanese (lyrics) version. It's an awesome track and Haruna should write more songs for Lovebites.
@@TJandTheGringa As someone else has mentioned, ' Bravehearted ' is the only LB song that Asami sung and recorded in Japanese. I'm not Japanese and don't speak the language but somehow, Asami sounds like a different singer in Japanese lyrics. She seems more relaxed and was able to express emotion and feelings more freely and naturally. I love her voice but at times I only wish she sings more in Japanese. Since TJ speaks Japanese. As terrific as Asami's voice is, she somehow sounds to me trying to do too much in English in certain songs. She is totally herself singing in Japanese, at least that's how it sounds to me. It would be great if you react to that version as well. There is a fan made video version of the song on YT.
A great performance of this song, and you would never know Fami was brand new here, it was like they all had been together forever. All five of them rocking out in peak form. 🤘🐺🤘
This song was my introduction to Fami and I still love how punchy her bass sound is. It really gets through. Sometimes you have to really listen hard to hear the bass but since Fami it really is there, undeniable. She's a perfect fit.
I had a similar experience as that guy who would see the Lovebites pictures and bypass the video thinking it was JPop but for me it was that way with Band-Maid. Their videos kept coming up in my recommendations and I would think, no thanks! But then I finally listened to them and was an instant fan!
Fami is just the most natural lady to have in the band. She surely leads the band to new horizons. And she adds another "dimension" to their music. LOVEBITES were already _amazing_ as "Miho line-up"; but after that loss, LOVEBITES sound amazing in a "different" way. In the "Fami way", probably. Still, in my "gut", I will always connect LOVEBITES with Miho.

I would never have thought, that an all-female Metal band from Japan would have such a positive impact in my everyday life. I still continue to listen to Iron Maiden, but LOVEBITES are ....... a league of their f~~~ing own.
For the story. This song is in fact the very first song of Lovebites. Haruna wrote this song for Destrose. But as Destrose disbanded she képi it for Lovebites. The original lyrics was in Japanese and Asami translated them to english. The 2 versions are on youtube.
The debut EP "The LOVEBITES EP" (2017) has the Japanese version. The debut LP "Awakening From Abyss" (2017) has the English version. The Re-recording of the EP "RE-LOVEBITES EP" (2024) is an English version, but with Fami.
It is difficult to determine now which song was LOVEBITES' first. 🤔When the band was created, Miyako already had two songs ('Panic Fuze' and 'Just a Liar'), which she composed for her band A DROP OF JOKER. Haruna had the song 'Bravehearted'. Asami had the song 'Inspire', the music for which was written by her friend, guitarist Araken. On November 18, 2016, the ladies performed for the first time as LOVEBITES (before that time, the band had a different name). LOVEBITES Setlist: 1. 'The Hammer of Wrath'. 2. 'Don't Bite the Dust'. 3. That's a great description and also a nice tribute to Neil Peart. For me, Haruna has the double bass power of Dave Lombardo, a precise playfulness of Neil Peart and almost brings every concert venue to its knees like a John Bonham. Er just for the record Lovebites actually HAVE sung a Celine Dion song! They came on stage in England with Dragonforce, who they were touring with, to perform "My Heart Will Go On". They mostly just goofed around to be honest apart from Miyako who, typically, took the thing more seriously and sang backing vocals. The music was awesome as always, I've got nothing interesting to add. So... Instead here's totally made up "facts" of Lovebites. For funsies. 1: Haruna once invited two of her drummer friends to a buffet joint for dinner after a show. That place had to close their business the next day... 2: To this day, Miyako and Midori have caused 247 employees of the franchise, Guitar Center, to quit in shame. Each one tried to hit on them by offering to give them lessons, and were shown that lessons were, in fact, not needed. 3: Asami is, in fact, a Disney Princess. She just attracts more metal animals. Wolves, falcons, the occasional panther... 4:The venues they play at have learned to sit the audience back an extra 10 yards. It took forever to clean that many melted faces up the first time, and they are not repeating that mistake. 5: The band gets their fancy clothes from the same place wrestlers get their costumes. It's the only place that can handle making clothes with that delicate look, yet can still hold up to the sheer power of their music.

What you said happened to me.....I was looking at the on youtube recommendations 5 girls in white called Lovebites but I didn't see it because I thought it was a pop group.....then I opened it and I don't know what hit me.......🤔
I listen to many Lovebites reactions but just recently I struggle to hear Myakos guitar in lots of different songs and vids where it was clear and its most annoying and it was Midoris guitar in some vids that was hard to hear a little while ago which was also frustrating.

If I remember correctly they releases a short version of this to announce the winner of the auditions. I was sooooo pleased they chose Fami as I had seen her on TH-cam already. I was rocking out watching it and I literally jumped off my seat shouting "yes,yes,yes!" at the end when Fami did that slide on the bass. Love her more and more withh that infectious smile. The perfect replacement for our beloved Miho.
As I always say, never forget Miho, always love Fami. Man, we are so lucky to have this band :)

Both excellent bass players, Miho - in my opinion - more introverted, often a pensive face; Fami - when she smiles (and she does that a lot) can dispel all the dark clouds within nanoseconds. "Bravehearted" is the only (so far) official song Haruna has composed for the band, and it's also the only song that has a Japanese (lyrics) version. It's an awesome track and Haruna should write more songs for Lovebites.

@@TJandTheGringa As someone else has mentioned, ' Bravehearted ' is the only LB song that Asami sung and recorded in Japanese. I'm not Japanese and don't speak the language but somehow, Asami sounds like a different singer in Japanese lyrics. She seems more relaxed and was able to express emotion and feelings more freely and naturally. I love her voice but at times I only wish she sings more in Japanese. Since TJ speaks Japanese. As terrific as Asami's voice is, she somehow sounds to me trying to do too much in English in certain songs. She is totally herself singing in Japanese, at least that's how it sounds to me. It would be great if you react to that version as well. There is a fan made video version of the song on YT.

A great performance of this song, and you would never know Fami was brand new here, it was like they all had been together forever. All five of them rocking out in peak form. 🤘🐺🤘
This song was my introduction to Fami and I still love how punchy her bass sound is. It really gets through. Sometimes you have to really listen hard to hear the bass but since Fami it really is there, undeniable. She's a perfect fit.
I had a similar experience as that guy who would see the Lovebites pictures and bypass the video thinking it was JPop but for me it was that way with Band-Maid. Their videos kept coming up in my recommendations and I would think, no thanks! But then I finally listened to them and was an instant fan!

Fami is just the most natural lady to have in the band. She surely leads the band to new horizons. And she adds another "dimension" to their music. LOVEBITES were already _amazing_ as "Miho line-up"; but after that loss, LOVEBITES sound amazing in a "different" way. In the "Fami way", probably. Still, in my "gut", I will always connect LOVEBITES with Miho.

In my life, there was a time _before_ LOVEBITES, and there is the time _with_ LOVEBITES. I would never have thought, that an all-female Metal band from Japan would have such a positive impact in my everyday life. I still continue to listen to Iron Maiden, but LOVEBITES are ....... a league of their f~~~ing own.

For the story. This song is in fact the very first song of Lovebites. Haruna wrote this song for Destrose. But as Destrose disbanded she képi it for Lovebites. The original lyrics was in Japanese and Asami translated them to english. The 2 versions are on youtube.
The debut EP "The LOVEBITES EP" (2017) has the Japanese version.
The debut LP "Awakening From Abyss" (2017) has the English version.
The Re-recording of the EP "RE-LOVEBITES EP" (2024) is an English version, but with Fami.
It is difficult to determine now which song was LOVEBITES' first. 🤔When the band was created, Miyako already had two songs ('Panic Fuze' and 'Just a Liar'), which she composed for her band A DROP OF JOKER. Haruna had the song 'Bravehearted'. Asami had the song 'Inspire', the music for which was written by her friend, guitarist Araken.
On November 18, 2016, the ladies performed for the first time as LOVEBITES (before that time, the band had a different name).
LOVEBITES Setlist:
1. 'The Hammer of Wrath'.
2. 'Don't Bite the Dust'.
3. 'Panic Fuze'.
4. 'Just a liar'.
5. 'Love Bites (So Do I)'.
6. 'Bravehearted'.
7. 'Inspire'.
The Set-list of this concert also included two songs by Miho: 'The Hammer of Wrath' and 'Don’t Bite the Dust'. All seven songs on the Set-list were performed by LOVEBITES for the first time in front of an audience.
Later, Miyako made a new arrangement for her songs 'Panic Fuze' and 'Just a Liar'. hese songs were given new names: 'Scream for Me' and 'Liar'. And under this name they appeared on the first releases of LOVEBITES (ЕP and LP, 2017).
At a concert in London (November 2017), Asami told the audience that the song 'Inspire' united all five of them as a band and was the reason Asami joined LOVEBITES as the lead vocalist.
That's where the bass should always be in the mix - right at the very front!

Er just for the record Lovebites actually HAVE sung a Celine Dion song! They came on stage in England with Dragonforce, who they were touring with, to perform "My Heart Will Go On". They mostly just goofed around to be honest apart from Miyako who, typically, took the thing more seriously and sang backing vocals. Grom the same tour their joint performance with Dragonforce of "Farming Simulator" is a joy to behold.

The music was awesome as always, I've got nothing interesting to add. So... Instead here's totally made up "facts" of Lovebites. For funsies.
1: Haruna once invited two of her drummer friends to a buffet joint for dinner after a show. That place had to close their business the next day...
2: To this day, Miyako and Midori have caused 247 employees of the franchise, Guitar Center, to quit in shame. Each one tried to hit on them by offering to give them lessons, and were shown that lessons were, in fact, not needed.
3: Asami is, in fact, a Disney Princess. She just attracts more metal animals. Wolves, falcons, the occasional panther...
4:The venues they play at have learned to sit the audience back an extra 10 yards. It took forever to clean that many melted faces up the first time, and they are not repeating that mistake.
5: The band gets their fancy clothes from the same place wrestlers get their costumes. It's the only place that can handle making clothes with that delicate look, yet can still hold up to the sheer power of their music.

I listen to many Lovebites reactions but just recently I struggle to hear Myakos guitar in lots of different songs and vids where it was clear and its most annoying and it was Midoris guitar in some vids that was hard to hear a little while ago which was also frustrating.
