Hello to Norway. This is a nice warm place to retire. There are plenty more videos to come. Go back and catch up. I've made one a day for over a year. There are plenty of street tours. Plus, a playlist called Mistakes I've made and things I did correct. Good info on visas, banking, etc..
The next stop, Talad Phlu, is the place to live around these areas. Good mall, condos of all types and prices, tons of food, several markets, heritage sites and even a few decent bars and clubs
Yes, that video is coming out. I need to go back and take a deep look. This as a crazy day of filming 5 train stops. I filmed from 6am to 1pm. It was just too hot to explore everything. Cool area though.
Dang, I lived 8 years in Mission Beach when in the Navy and I retired from USPS HQ doing their IT designs..... I'm visiting Bangkok this August, we need to meet up..... I used to stay at the Hilton Sukhumvit in the past but trying the new Hilton near Asoke. Did you ever watch the TV show "North Mission Beach" with Larry Himmel, who had is own show "Who wants to marry a millionaire????
