Mind blowing is the word!!! So affordable and in a good area with all those facilities and shops and market … Well done on Expat Paul and thanks for showing us this …. Peace
I think this person posting this video is providing a valuable service. Thank you sir. I appreciate you. Many others feature an agent that they are promoting. I have learned to avoid those. They have yet to deliver on the amazing deals they feature. I guess if you are used to living in Tokyo then 28 square meters is massive. I guess. For the people from North America; note that 28 square meters is about 17.4 feet by 17.4 feet. If it's for one person only, my opinion, maybe it's OK. For a couple, you will likely be stepping on each others toes. :-) An empty room always seems bigger. In my limited experience, is rare that a condo has this many amenities and located close to an MRT or the BTS.
Love this comment and much appreciated! When I was editing I cringed a touch when I said “massive” but at the same time if you zoom out and reflect on the situation.. 4k baht to live in what I would consider to be the best city in the world.. it’s massive haha 😂 but rightly for a single person agreed 👍🏻 that said.. I know many girls will share a space like this for many many years and be happy 😃 thanks for the feedback my man ✌🏻
Wow, this is amazing value for money. My wife lived in Bangkok for a very long time and she paid 4000 baht for just a small room with a bed and a shower and didn't even have hot water.
That place is amazing for the price and location. The last unit at 7000bhat is great fully furnished! Pool, gym and all of the near underground shopping makes it a safe haven for living!! Thanks and great video!! Earned a new subscriber!!
As an American who lives in the capital city of Virginia, Richmond... This blows my mind! A studio apartment in Richmond goes for around $1500-2,000 a month!!!
Good video, love the info, nothing confusing about it. Of course it's a little less for an unfurnished room with a microwave vs a furnished 1 bedroom. I would opt for the furnished 1 bedroom for sure with the bigger fridge. Would love to see a 2 bedroom as well!
I'm going to Bangkok next week and I plan to visit this Condo for myself. I'm thinking of eventually making the move out there for myself and would like to visit to see if I like it. Thanks for making us aware of this place.
Awesome find. I am always amazed by the condos you can rent for cheap in Bangkok. Only downside is the purple line doesn't connect to the BTS which makes the MRT line less attractive.
I really like number three with the bedroom enclosed so you can cool off just the bedroom while you sleep very nice I love all the amenities of the building and all the stores and stuff downstairs in the parking. Very cool! I don’t know if I could handle living in the big city like that though I think I would be more apt to live about 60 to 90 miles south of there. And just visit Bangkok for a few days at a time.
Then you would love Hua Hin. You should see what you can get there for a similar price. For about 7000thb per month you can get a fully furnished suite with a full kitchen only minutes from the beach!
G'day Rob, Thanks for this video .. and others. I may've done a Project Bangkok tour today. Thanks to your videos, I explored Benjakiti & Lumphini Parks plus the Green Mile elevated walkway, I wandered around Wat Paknam and in the process saw more back alleys, front yards and makeshift kitchens than I care to mention, then I finished it off with checking out a condo at Regent Home 27. It was a good day. Now I'm keen for more of your content. Cheers, Phil.

Hey Rob, Thanks for the great video. I am going to be working at Sangsom school (Prachachuen) in January. I’m going to be viewing the 7000 baht option at Regent home 27 in January, but I’m also going to view Metro Sky Prachachuen where you can get a condo starting at 6900 baht apparently. Have you heard of it? It has an entrance to the red line MRT which is pretty much outside of the apartment. Also, it has gym, swimming pool, and jogging circuit. Thanks for the informative videos, I will be taking the 44 baht train to Hua Hin on weekends as long as the train runs after 4:30pm. 😎🌞
The 4500 baht room is a no go for most people being both unfurnished and NO air conditioning. Also a minimum one year lease, and quite a distance from the city. So the 6800 baht furnished A/C room is more likely for most people, though still quite small at 28 m². But still a very good deal for about $220 including utilities. If you travel to Bangkok a lot for entertainment and friends, etc., the trains run until midnight, so you may end up having to pay for a taxi home which will cost about 200 baht, (10 trips a month = 2000 baht) or you could buy your own motorcycle, if you’re willing to risk the traffic.

oh man this would've been perfect if they did month to month. any good recommendations for places like this that are willing to do furnished month to month? I'm coming for 60-90 days in january and looking for something like this where everything I need is right there at my doorstep
Hey, first of all great, informative video. You also seem like a genuine good dude btw. I'm thinking of moving to Thailand next month. Are there still deals like this? It's almost hard to believe in fairness lol
I`ve stayed in Bang Son a couple of times in an Air B N B the opposite side to this complex. Bang Son is a great value area to live in and i`m considering moving there. Will check out this apartment block. Great upload..thanks
That's a very good price today with all the shops in the building. 1 month ago it was possible to get a fully furnitured and better equipped 35 sqm. 1 bedroom condo units for approx 6500 - 10 000 bath with 5-15 minutes walk to the BTS or MRT station and lots of shops in the neighborhood. It seems like the 300 000+ russians that has arrived lately have made an impact on the price in the rental market.
@@ProjectBangkok Not is. Was 7000 Bath 1 months ago near Bang Na BTS station. I think it was only 8 minutes walk from the station. 6500 2-3 months ago. But now approx 9000 Bath for a well equipped 1 bedroom 35 sqm condo unit.
Russians have been down there for 6-12 months though. Prices would have fluctuated earlier in the year, no? The question is, are they abusing the visa system and staying long term illegally? Bangkok has a huge supply of housing, I don't think it is a stressed market.
So what's the downside? Is it really out in the boonies? Would late night MRT commuting be problematic and time consuming? I would think no a/c, not furnished, & incomplete kitchen would be intolerable. But the other two units looked great.
I live here on the 23rd floor and mine came fully furnished. It's about a 25 minute drive to the Sukhumvit area or 50 minutes by MRT. I've been here since it first opened and I still love it. The only downside is the parking if you have your own car. (particularly finding a spot after 8-9pm)
Thanks for the video! I wonder what the cockroach situation is like in this complex? I know that some cities are worse than others, but... A/C's seemed solid and no sign plumbing leaks? Did you notice any sewage smells coming up thru drainage? Cheers man! 🍻
The rooms were nice and cool considering the size of the block as well. Cockroach’s are in every single condo block in Thailand. Just comes with the territory I’m afraid. Will be no better or worse from one block to another
I keep the little slit under the door taped off and don't get any up here on the 23rd floor. Once in a while you'll get a faint smell from the shower drainage but usually none.
Wow, Thanks!!! Been watching Thailand videos for a longtime and Yours was full of great info. I never heard of that place. Very cool. Make some more! Thumbs Up & Subscribed! Enjoy and C Ya soon..
Brilliant work! I am gobsmacked! Not enough guys are working the low end of the market. Now... here is an inspirational idea for your next video: Same as this video, but ladies! Maitrichit Road in Chinatown had some budget choices for 500 baht last time I was there (5 years ago), but we all need an update. The prices in Nana etc are now becoming impossible, and you are JUST the man to investigate...
@@ProjectBangkok Hmmm... with (only)10.5K subscribers, maybe it is time to reinvent your channel! With the current tight visa restrictions only a small % of expats can take advantage of your (1 year lease?!?) fabulous apartment find. But a very substantial % of visitors want to get their pickles polished, and at a pleasing price, if possible... "The reason that opportunity is missed by most people is that it is generally dressed in coveralls and looks like hard work" - Thomas Edison.

Hi Rob, do you still live in the Ashton? if so do you recommend it after living there? I'm moving over in July and looking to renting there for 12 months. Cheers Rob
Hey Darren, I’ll reply to your email when I get a moment buddy. I don’t live there anymore.. I needed to get away from the chaos that is sukhumvit road.. and I wanted more street food. It’s the perfect condo for location thought with the BTS and MRT on the doorstep
If I were to buy my own furniture, what are the prices looking like? I’ll need movers to help too right. How much is a bed frame and mattress? Thanks for the help!
Erm.. the channel is ProjectBangkok not ProjectFurniture 😂 not a clue how much that stuff cost I’m afraid.. would have to look into it. Can rent stuff from one of the shops in that basement actually. Would have to go visit to find out
Doesn't matter when the "elite" visas cost several thousand dollars to basically just be allowed to stay in the country for more than 3-6 months without doing the risky visa runs.
I would grab the unfurnished one, as furniture and appliances are pretty cheap. And you can have what you like, and finding unfurnished condo in Thailand is rare, to the point you choose places because of their owners deco styles choice or what crap they want to store in the room for you to live with, more than location and value etc. I lived on the the other side of Rama 9, just opposite to this area, good to see the markets had grown. Airport link trains was a bonus. Just be open for the call for pray from the big mosque That's quite loud there and I was over a 1 km from it, But you get used to it.
I lived directly across the street from a huge mosque for over a year in the middle east -- a small residential street. It was quite the experience, the mid-summers were the worst because the pre-dawn call went off at like 3:30am. Felt like the loud speaker was literally in my apartment sometimes 🤣🤣 My neighbor was also very devout and exited his flat & called the elevator up like clockwork, which made a not so quiet bell ding when the doors opened. It was all a life lesson on tolerance for sure!
I really enjoy ur videos a lot. I was wondering if maybe nxt time you can do a condo video that’s near schools. I will be moving to Thailand nxt year to teach so I would love to kno the distance from some condos to schools if possible
Can you give suggestion to me about the apartment or condo under 10.000 bhat for only 1 month around bangkok area? Because I just wanna stay for 1 month in bangkok It's better near from mrt/bts/bus terminal.
Hey Robert I'm a little bit confused, what's the difference between Condo 2 of 3 and Condo 3 of 3 cuz, both looks for the same price and same utilities

It is a sardin can surrounded by other sardin cans, when you look oubthe window you can see what your neighbours are doing
Have you always been a snob looking down on people?
@@ProjectBangkok subbed just because this reply is so great. Keep up the good work
Karma is restored 😂 welcome to the channel haha
question.. seems great but a huge sticking point for me is neighbors, how would you deal with neighbors sharing the same walls with you that play loud music? I like quiet
i like condo 3 the best. i couldnt live without aircon. nice price and pool too
Very affordable n very beautiful...thanks for sharing...wonderful place to live
Honestly I would be happy to live there and save a boat load of money! Surrounded by what makes me happy.. food 😂
Your videos are improving day by day. Very good content. Keis and Dan need to watch out. There is a new vlogger in town ;-)
I’ll be sure to let them know haha i actually take inspiration from both of them actually and look up to them as creators.. we all here to work together and not compete 😁 (I’m going to leave them in the dust! Is what you really wanted me to say 😂)
@@ProjectBangkok I know you work together and are friends. Seems like a good crew. Adam have been the one with the most varied content with very good edit skills. But are stagnating. Dan is by far the best technical editor. But it start to show that both of them have gigs beside YT. Your content are starting to be equally good as Adam. sometimes better. And your edit is soon on par with both of them. Will be relocating eventually to LOS. Been visiting since 1993. Keep up the good work. Who knows. mabye i will get the opportunity to buy you a beer . :-D Cheers
I lived there two months last year, great place to live, about 30 min to sukumwith with the mrt
Oh sweet! I would honestly consider moving there because of how much money I would save.. watch this space I guess.. due to move in Nov
Only two months though?
yea my visa ended and i had to leave, rented from airbnb@@poopoogigolo
@@poopoogigolo yes i was traveling around thailand for one year
Excellent video Rob. A great find.
Thank you 🙏 all thanks to Paul on this one 👌🏻
how much do you spend to buy food at supermarkets - are there supermarkets nearby. except for sevel eleven that isn't a real market
"Im not going to go through all 68 in one video" 😅 anticipating a second video then mate 👍- haha definitely convenient to get anything you need without leaving your complex will not find that anywhere in the US
how do you guys find the cheapest month-to-month furnished apartments/condos in bangkok ??
Iv never found a month to month condo in Bangkok before.. have been living here 2 years.. have only seen in Pattaya on the video that I made a few weeks back
Looking good. Everything you need is within 15 minutes.
Less I think.. so convenient
Thank you for this video. What part of Bangkok is this condo in and are the prices still the same? Great job!
one of the best content in terms of hunting cheap condos. maybe you can also provide the contact details where to rent it? thank you!
You are the King of value. Thanks for your great tips PB.
Thank you kindly
woooo, amazing prices, the solution to the super high crap prices for apartments here in Europe
Coming from the UK I know all too well how high prices can be
Are these buildings safe? What are Thailand's building standards like? I hope they don't cheap out....
What do you mean safe? Little confused with this question
oh man this would've been perfect if they did month to month. any good recommendations for places like this that are willing to do furnished month to month? I'm coming for 60-90 days in january and looking for something like this where everything I need is right there at my doorstep
Your only real option for month to month would be Airbnb and you will likely pay a Premium for the privilege I’m afraid
Ah damn was afraid that might be the case. Oh well, thanks
Insane what you get there and the better quality of living vs here in the US. Wow!
How much is the monthly management charge? How much is 1 unit of electricity?
That's an excellent price nice building like that also the location all my buddies is in Bangkok for bodybuilding looks like a place she stays in
Hey, first of all great, informative video.
I was just saying in another comment I might even go too.. my pool at the condo is nice but is it worth the extra 10,000 bath lol
@@ProjectBangkok 10,000THB a month extra ? that is a nice bit of monthly savings/investment.There is a pool in this condo isnt there?
Fantastic video Rob 👍
Thanks bro! Linked your channel in description too 👍🏻
@@ProjectBangkok thanks mate 👍
Bro... im coming tomorrow 🤪. Lol. Thanks for giving me hope
Your very welcome! There’s a bunch of condo blocks like this all over the place.. but you gotta keep those legs moving to find them haha 😂
Wow. Value for money 💰 ❤
What condo is doing 35sqm for 6500 with a 5min walk to BTS or MRT?
@@ProjectBangkok Not is. Was 7000 Bath 1 months ago near Bang Na BTS station. I think it was only 8 minutes walk from the station. 6500 2-3 months ago. But now approx 9000 Bath for a well equipped 1 bedroom 35 sqm condo unit.
Russians have been down there for 6-12 months though. Prices would have fluctuated earlier in the year, no? The question is, are they abusing the visa system and staying long term illegally? Bangkok has a huge supply of housing, I don't think it is a stressed market.
300000, that's an awful lot of Russians who don't want to fight
Great video, do you have the website for the rental office. thank you
your channel is fantastic!
Thank you so much I appreciate you watching 🙏
They are monthly contacts or hav to be yearly contacts
Always love your informative videos.
I try make them fun if I can 😁
So what's the downside?
Your very welcome. Happy you enjoyed.. will show you guys the 2 bed units in the building next door as well
Brilliant work!
I appreciate the kind words but I have to disagree haha this ain’t the channel for that kind of content 😁
What tight visa restrictions? Retirement visa, education visa, elite visa.. so on so on… sooo many options but nobody can be bothered to research how to stay Thailand long time. “I Dont need to reinvent google search” 😂 - ProjectBangkok
What do you think of the security of the condo? The main door has only a normal handle with the key, can anybody break in while you’re not there?
The most security on the ground and entrance I have ever seen at any condo! Also key card to use lifts, then security cameras.. it’s perfectly safe there
That’s great to know! Thank you for taking the time to reply and for posting such content! 😊
Thanks. This is great info. Can you refer any companies that will do a 30 day rental?
Impossible to find Paul's website
Hi ya..is this price still the same now? Is this price per room? Any college or uni near by?
Hi Rob, do you still live in the Ashton? if so do you recommend it after living there? I'm moving over in July and looking to renting there for 12 months. Cheers Rob
Hey Darren, I’ll reply to your email when I get a moment buddy. I don’t live there anymore.. I needed to get away from the chaos that is sukhumvit road.. and I wanted more street food. It’s the perfect condo for location thought with the BTS and MRT on the doorstep
I wonder after the 12 month léase is up, how much they increase the monthly rent if you decide to renew.
I've had it decreased. I paid 7,500 baht/month the first 2 years as we were the first to live here when it opened and now we pay 7,000/month.
is there any utilities in those? what are some of the prices for fiber if available
We have 2 air cons in my unit. I run one basically 24 hours a day and the electric bill is about 1,500 /month. Fiber is about 600 baht/month.
On the back of this great video, you have just gained a subscriber 😎
Welcome aboard!
Would have to go visit to find out
They have IKEA in Bangkok.
@2005CessnaPilot they have many
Hi, just want to know if its possible to rent there also for 2 months. That would be great.
Nooooo. Maybe Airbnb but will be expensive
Absolutely amazing. I'd live there no issue.
Really good video but what can I expect for 10000 bath? A kitchen?
Did you watch all the video? I showed 2 other units that had kitchens for 7500
@@ProjectBangkok oh. I missed that. Sorry.
The deal of the century
Place is amazing! Thank you.
Your welcome 👌🏻
where did you get the price?
is it rented out in second hand by a private person or is the building having more condos and the price is 4000 each?
do you or anyone reading this think it would be easily doable to rent out the last 6 months of the lease as only looking to stay for 6 months?
Doesn't matter when the "elite" visas cost several thousand dollars to basically just be allowed to stay in the country for more than 3-6 months without doing the risky visa runs.
Wats max stay 120day
Are all units furnished at that price?
LEGENDARY VIDEO. Thanks!
Because I just wanna stay for 1 month in bangkok
It's better near from mrt/bts/bus terminal.
This is unbelievable! Wow 😮👍🏼😎
Hey Robert I'm a little bit confused, what's the difference between Condo 2 of 3 and Condo 3 of 3 cuz, both looks for the same price and same utilities
