This was a great watch and I’m kinda sad that this seems to be the end of this series. It was great to see the SL-9 detectives interact with Apollo Justice characters. It completely makes sense that these characters would lose their edge due to how much time they spent away from being detectives due to the…circumstances these three were under and their numbers halved. Plus, I find it funny how neither Skye sister likes being around Klavier. I like how it ends with Klavier questioning how Kristoph knew the information about Drew and him not wanting to suspect his brother. Still wondering why in the world Franziska was meeting him, but I think an interaction between them would be interesting and fun to watch.
Don't worry, this isn't the ending part, it's just the last one before a time skip. The next part will be during the events of Apollo Justice so expect to see Ema working with Lana ;)

one of your best videos yet. really liked the scene with Marshal and Zak and how despite their efforts, these three feel like they're not what they used to be... I like the acknowledgement of Gant as formerly part of the group too - if Marshal, Angel and Lana are all shadows of their former selves, the former Chief of Police is more of a corpse

Great klaiver is slowly realising the truth and franziska somewhere in the stage and I imagine her finding Lana and she's on the same side will definitely be a great advantage, with Edgeworth working in the background to along with phoinex probably pulling the 100th string by now and hopefully Ema doing something (seriously it's weird how she's not reunited with lana yet)
The character wrighting is still very on point and i can't express enough how awesome it is that you're continuously consistent on this! Fantastic work!

Long episode! Clicked as fast I could. These interactions are all on point. I really like how all three of them show signs of being rusty after so much time out of the force. Love to see it. I'd gladly watch the whole series however long it is.

Will Franziska play a role in helping Phoenix regain his badge? I don't think she's the one who would stand idly by as she might be itching for a rematch.
Who knows? We don't know yet why she was visiting Klavier or why she was angry, but we can guess ;)

Even with all of your works, this is by far by favourite series; and I definitely support a 4th part if you ever planned for it! It's not just a good story; it's good writing. The characters are all in line with how they are in the series, which is extremely hard to achieve while creating a good story

I am eagerly awaiting the next part! I love seeing the story unfold to things we don’t get to see in the games.
I feel like a Whole New Timeline is going to unfold with this Series and I'm all here for it though I do wonder if one could take such responsibility for said new fanmade timeline. Consider me a new Sub :)

Boy oh boy the hype I have is intense. I don't care how long it takes for the finale of Lana Skye's parole, this is getting interesting. Kudos to you for Angel's dialogue with the Mishams. She instantly became my favorite character because of that ^^
"Not so fast!" is a perfect fit for Angel. The sheer energy coming from her when saying it more than compensates for taking away from its uniqueness as Agent Lang's signature line. ❤

as always man, your videos just keep getting better and better! I loved the interactions between the detectives and the respective criminals they were investigating. I certainly didn't expect this series to actually stick to the canon and they fail to deal with them before the events of AJ:AA.
anyways, curious to see where you take it next! I assume we will see the sisters working together inally, that sounds awesome! and boy, working with Lana, Angel and now Ema, Jake Marshall sure is one lucky outlaw, pardner, he is sitting on a gold mine.

Godot was never a legendary or renowned prosecutor :p He was well known as a defense attorney but as a prosecutor not only was he a rookie, he never even won a trial xD

Once again, my learned Sebeste, I must congratulate you on an astounding job. If I had to give a small criticism, I'd say that perhaps having Marshall find Zak would make me wonder why, in case we were to assume this as canon, Zak wouldn't mention the ordeal to Phoenix in some way, for example, when he invites him to play cards in the Borscht Bowl Club, he could've said something like: "I want to play cards with you, as I did with your cowboy friend", and that would've been a smooth introduction. Nonetheless, this is just a petty thing; the video is otherwise fantastic and I just love how you make it all so coherent and reasonable. I'll be eagerly waiting for the next part. A toast, for well done jobs!
Oh but I can't do that mate, because Marshall never mentioned to Zak that he knows Phoenix. All Zak knows is that Marshall is a random cowboy detective who tried to arrest him. He'd have absolutely no reason to assume that Marshall and Phoenix are acquainted ;)
@@debastiansebeste hmm, but then, how does Marshall know Zak "abandoned" his daughter? If he didn't know Phoenix and was just a random cop, he wouldn't even necessarily know Zak had a daughter to begin with or what fate she met. But it is true that, given the stressful life that is living in hiding, constantly fearing capture, I find it more than reasonable that Zak would have eventually forgotten about the ordeal before his reunion with Phoenix
@@onwu6894I insist. Police Detectives assigned to search for Zak would definitely be up to date on the whole ordeal of his only family being Trucy, and her adoption by Wright. Not to mention that the trial was very famous - not only was Zak a very reputable defendant as a renowned magician, but it also led to the disbarment of a famous lawyer like Wright. Even normal people would be interested to learn details at this point given the size of the scandal.
Trust me I've looked into the script very carefully to reach this conclusion xD
This is amazing! I can't put into words how much I love this series of videos. It was very cool to see how well this characterizes a couple one-off characters, as they really did have potential to be very interesting in their own right, but ended up being forgotten due to being clear last minute additions to the plot.
I also want to say that there's actually an image on the Ace Attorney Fandom Wiki that has Angel Starr in the same pose, but you could see the top of her the hat she's wearing. I bring this up as I noticed in the thumbnail that Starr's hat is cut off. Not sure if this was a mistake when editing or what, but thought I'd bring it up. Unfortunately I can't link you directly to the image that shows her hat, as the last time I did, TH-cam blocked me from commenting for 24 hours, citing it as "commercialization", so you'll just have to take my word for it, but hopefully this helps!
Finally, here's an answered question (as I've noticed you already answered this in other replies...I'm just including it because my original comment had it):

Let's just say at the time I was too pressured to finish uploading the video (was left with only 2 hours of sleep before returning to camp after uploading the vid :p), so I hastened to make the thumbnail. I knew a full Angel Starr existed in her texture files in full hd (different from what you mention), but I elected to ignore it at the time due to rushing like a maniac xD
However, now that I finally got the time I went ahead and updated the thumbnail with the full Angel, I hope you approve ;)

Nice vid however it will be interesting to note how the SL9 team felt about investigating for 7 years even longer than the Joe Darke killings
Additionally kristoph Gavin isn’t just purely hateful towards wright sure he hated him for ‘denying him his right to shine’ but at the start of Turnabout Trump he tried to frame Olga Orly and it is possible that he may have felt a bit responsible regarding Wright since Kristoph told Apollo that Wright’s trial must be won at all costs
It’s just my theory I’m curious on what you guys think because Apollo Justice ace attorney did teach us about how things are not always what they appear to be
Amazing! Yet again I'm hooked on the video, great job, Debastian! Perhaps only two minor observations I make are the fact I am unsure when this happens, perhaps I missed something more clarifying on this. Surely before AJ, but when exactly I do not know. Additionally, the 3 legendary prosecutors mentioned here were Manfred, Miles and Franziska? That would leave Diego out of the legendaries, I suppose...🤔
And second, Starr's 'not so fast' line sounds a bit like 'NO so fast'. Did you notice the same?

The previous videos were set 1 year after Phoenix's disbarment, in 2020. This one is set 6 months after the previous video, so somewhere between 2020 and 2021 ;)
About Diego, let's be honest. He wasn't a prosecutor until he started antagonizing Wright, he was a defense attorney, and as a prosecutor he didn't win a single trial (since he only went after Wright). So you could say that instead of a legendary Prosecutor Godot was a rookie instead xD
As for Angel's not so fast, yeah I've noticed the "No" instead of Not a long time now, and it slightly bothers me but I like the voice too much so I try to ignore it xD

Hmm...This was a fun episode. I never really saw Rise From the Ashes, so I'm not necessarily familiar with the 3 of them. While I understand that they're doing to help Phoenix, they did come off as a bit too self righteous, and kinda acted a bit douchey and cut throat for my taste, especially Lana and Angel. I really felt bad for Vera for being bullied by Angel the way she did. As for Lana, based off what I heard, and from part 2 I just can't bring myself to fully side with her after how many lives she's ruined and now she's coming off as self righteous. It bugs me for some reason, even if she's trying to bring down a scumbag like Kristoph. I'm just glad Klavier was able to hold his own against her. As for Marshall, I didn't expect his ass to get owned the way he did. That gave me a good laugh. Well done my friend. I look forward to part 4.
Well, Lana is the definition of learning to deal with one's dark past and working solely to do good and make up for one's past actions. Also given how she did everything to save her sister from Gant's blackmail I can't really blame her ngl
As for Angel, being snarky and aggressive is part of her so it makes sense she'd act like a b*tch even towards Vera if Vera stood "on the enemy side", even if it's just a barely teen girl :p
@@debastiansebeste That's the thing that bothers me; she's not the enemy. Not really. She was just fooled and manipulated by said enemy. If anything she's a victim, and for Angel just to be so hostile to her it just didn't sit well with me. She had better apologize to her when this is all said and over, especially considering what happens to poor Vera in Apollo Justice.
As for Lana, I get what you're saying and you're exactly right in regards to what you said as she's trying to make up for her past, but imo nothing justifies the numerous innocent people she ruined even if it was a noble reason to protect her sister. Again she just comes off as way too self righteous for my taste. In comparison to her sister Ema who has more of a friendly nature to her. Lana seems way more direct and to the point.

They're custom ones made by fans I suppose. There's a drive link on the objection lol discord server with tons of custom voicelines for many characters (though Drew's objection came along with an uploaded Drew Misham character by 10-4Dontknow, who had embedded the voiceline to the character already). I don't know whether they're ai-made or recorded by fans themselves, because unfortunately none of them are credited :(

The ones I mean are Franziska, Edgeworth and Von Karma. Payne is too much of a meme despite his 7 year streak, and Godot was anything but a legendary Prosecutor, he was a defense attorney all his life and became a prosecutor just to face Phoenix

Yeah I meant Franziska. At the time of the video Franziska has already made a name for herself and works with the interpol globally. Not to mention, she was already considered a legendary prodigy when she first met Wright, and she was already a prosecutor for 4 years prior (I think?). So I supposed that by 2020 she would already be considered at least renowned

Bruh, Shadi Johnson and Shadi Smith are just two of the many fake identities Zak adopted in my story (sure Smith is the only canon one but no one can tell me that he didn't change multiple names throughout the 7 years xD)

Nope. it's more like "the truth" behind Phoenix's investigation and what led to the creation of the MASON system. In other words, it's a story in which Lana, Starr and Marshall were the ones who helped Phoenix find the truth about his disbarment.
So are you thinking about doing a video on how Phoenix gets his badge back??? Or how he could retake the bar test. Apollo Justice shows us that he doesn't want to be a defense attorney anymore.

We only see in Ace Attorney Dual Destinies that he got his badge back but what's the backstory?

If you're asking because of the To Be Continued, there most definitely will be a part 4, but there will be a 6 year time jump towards Apollo Justice (in other words expect to see the team meet Apollo as well as Ema working with Lana together :p)

All we know about her is that she left Drew and her daughter because of the financial difficulties the family was facing
