i had an xc60 with this system and the sub made this strange noise when there was bass, like a metallic sound. But it didn't make the bass any less, SO much bass.
Concert mode and jazz are not the right mode system for this type of music. That’s the only thing I found weird on this B&W. I owned xc90. After market will sound way better as I owned quite a few cars with top end audio systems. This B&W however is not bad! Not in the concert hall mode though😂
They are actually different on each Volvo with the system, each tuned to the space of the car and they all sound different too. They are purely gorgeous systems
@@AllcarnewsOh I see maybe concert hall in s60 sound different than xc90. Studio mode sounded the most natural in the xc90. The concert hall for this type of music was my least favorite. Anyhow for factory system it sounds really good. Enjoy the music. Good luck!
@@zzzaaa01 just a base “premium audio” system. I had it in my 2023 S90 and it was generally quite good. Probably just a basic Harmon/Kardon system without the branding.
@@Allcarnews I was actually slightly disappointed with the base audio system at the very beginning but after getting just the right tuning it actually sounds really nice. Gotta have the base and treble just right as well as the equalizer. I would say it sounds identical to the HK but is just lacking the subwoofer
I heard it…in a Volvo car I was not impressed. The only cool feature was the Gottenburg Hall reverb feature but that’s about it. It’s trash compared to real deal aftermarket car stereos….(Sinfoni…Dynaudio…Focal…etc.) The bass sucked too.
Don’t agree on that at all. What car were you in? And there is NO way an aftermarket system is good unless you want ridiculous amounts of bass which ruins proper audio.
Look at them mirrors shaking! Ha that’s good
It sounds good, even on my laptop 👌
