I successfully attempted this workout over the weekend after being off the mats for 12 days, and made it through- and hey, I'm 58 years young folks. It's a burner. Great way to get/stay in shape and maintain TKD skills. I highly recommend it.

Trust me dude. But if you want to do a split. Just do the splits. Those bullshit TH-cam tutorial videos on YT are dumb. Do it like 3 times a day or something.

It’s taekwondo not karate there’s a difference karate is self deffence and a martial art and taekwondo is a sport and a martial art they both might be the same thing but there different tecneeks do you mean karate or taekwondo just remember that 😀✌️ peace good luck on your first say
Hi Samery, thanks for the instructional workout. I'm a TKD black belt that has forgotten the advanced brown & black belt forms or katas over time. I was with the ATA & would appreciate it if you could break down a few forms for us to work on. Thanks again!
She has a ton of videos on youtube. There is a lot of videos on flexibility, conditioning. She isnt going to cram absolutley everything into each video.
If by chance your really taking actual classes, on a regular basis, that's good, but if you can put together a random self motivated punching and kicking routine, you have to develop a routine that works for you,
I've never learned much Taekwondo only Muay thai and some BJJ but you are a black belt so isnt striking with your feet bad? I'm not sure if that's a Taekwondo thing but I've always been told striking with your feet is bad.
This TKD is good and everything for fitness, may be jumping and dancing a bit, but not for fight. I have no experience in martial arts, I just do fitness, and i defeated many black belt TKD girls. Even my young sister, 16 year old, defeated a 29 year old blue belt last week..
just cause someone does taekwondo(in this case) it doesn't mean they're fighting machines. but not every athlete is at the same level. do you think you can defeat a taekwondo athlete like Samery or Chloe Bruce? it's not taekwondo that is not for fights. it's the individual athlete that is not good at a fight.

Gotta recoil your kicks a little more, but otherwise great technique. Also, keep your hands up, but probably not as important in tkd, definitely important when you introduce punches to the head..

Gup levels are very basic, but are an excellent foundation to build upon. I've been training for almost 30 years and I still watch other martial artists because its impossible to know "too much" or "enough". I learn as much from training white belts as I've learned from masters. The mere fact that you claim you, as a redbelt, dont need to watch others and their technique tells me all I need to know about your attitude and what kind of martial art practitioner you are. For Pete's sake "I DoNt KnOw WhY i Am WaTcHiNg ThIs, I iS a WeD bElT hurrrr derrrr".
