선욱군이 16세 한예종 입학후 얼마 안되어 세종문화회관 소극장에서 피아노리사이틀 할때, 우연히 신문기사를 읽고는 뭔가 감?이 와서 갔었고,
그날의 열정적 연주에 너무나 감동,
"이 소년, 앞으로 큰일 내겠다~!" 하던 차에 얼마 안가 18세때 리쯔콩쿨에서 우승을~!
어찌나 기쁘던지요~~!!!
그 이후, 쭉 팬이 되어 항상 김선욱군의 연주를 쫓아다니고, 연주기사도 열심히 찾아읽으며, 열성팬이라기보다, 어쩌면 어머니의 심정으로 선욱군의 음악적 성장을 지켜보다보니, 이젠 제 나이도 어느덧 65세가 됐네요 ~ㅎㅎ

His sounds is completely transparent, comes from another dimension.
If he publish the complete Mozart recordings, it will be a treasure of the world.

Why is there so much coughing from the audience
His two note slurs could be played better in the first movement imo
Technically perfect. But at least 1st movement is a bit too fast... Mozart's music can be (often) very pleasant. But going to fast really stress the ears of the audiance and by the way it keeps away people from the essence of the music written by the author... It's like Bach: it doesn't need to be played to fast if you want to catch the beauty of the melodies...
He's young, in a few years will realize the error...and adjust. ...Exhuberance of youth...
