Some people say Mozart is "easy" to play. Compared to Chopin it is surely easier, but to get this clear and precise sound and at the same time adding nuances in the dynamics is very very hard. Also all his trills are so perfect, light and flawless.
Highly disagree. Dynamics in his instrument didn't exist when mozart played. In fact, Mozart never wrote his sonatas for the Fortepiano. Hence the reason why they don't have written dynamics. Both dynamics and speed of his sonatas were added at the turn of the romantic period. When performers could in facts play loud and soft as well as faster to show off, this was due to the action change on the Forte piano.

Oh, I just keep coming back to this fantastic performance! You are like Alexander the great! Fierce, sharp notes but also so romantic and expressive. You make me feel so relaxed and doze my mind into into childhood happiness! Just amazingly great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The spirit of sounds of Mozart’s music will have been crystallizing themselves wonderfully as well as fantastically with the melodies both harmoniously and exquisitely woven of Beauty and Simplicity eternally in the hearts of Mozart lovers around the world.
It would be no exaggeration to say that the awesomely wonderful synergy between Mozart’s inhuman mentality and the piano’s potentiality has crystallized into a timeless work of art in this universe.
I have the DVD with Barenboim playing all the Mozart sonatas. This one and KV 309 are my favourite interpretations by him. Maestro plays the c-minor Sonata as well fantastic.
The beauty and simplicity in the musical streaming from Mozart’s mentality are through being listened the most harmoniously melted into one to be eternally crystallized in my heart 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
What a masterful playing of the greatest master's so called simple works. after listening to numerous renditions of Mozart's piano sonatas, including some of my favourites like Brendel and Gulda, Haebler. I always revisit this cycle of Barenboim from time to time. His renditions are like gold, it feels just right always, not affected by one's mood or the taste of time. the second movement of this sonata is so recklessly beautiful. The poetry and pathos in it shall not be overlooked just because it's a relatively small work that he wrote probably for his pupils.
I was brought up listening to Wanda Landowska play this sonata. In high school I begged my piano teacher to let me play it. One of my favorites still, after all these years.
I'm awesomely happy to feel a certain kind of spiritual energy pouring through my ears into my heart on listening to the sounds of the most harmonious melody exquisitely woven of Beauty and Simplicity.
Nearly flawless! But then I guess no one can play it perfectly. But Barenboim comes closest, in my opinion! Amazing performance. It captures the true spirit of the piece, which is actually hard to master. Great!! 😄
If Mozart’s too early passing had any meaning, it could be said that as his creativity in composition comes from basically outside of his life experience, he has no need to accumulate a wealth of life experience and so he has completed his missions from God.
Although there are limits to the human ability to express language, I feel that there might be something mysterious in Mozart’s pondering a motif of a piece of music that transcends human ability and creates an infinitely wonderful fantasy.
Once I get used to listening to the performances of this great pianist, I'm able to hear those of other pianists with my sensory ears, though Mozart’s spirit will not resonate in my heart’s ears ❤
Human beings wear masks when interacting with others, but when listening to Mozart’s music, they take off the masks and could become true to themselves.
It would be no exaggeration to say that Mozart’s works are in fact so difficult to play that even the slightest mistake in interpreting them could trigger a fatal error in a performance of a piece.
some of the fingering is so different to the way I was taught it at school. He uses a lot of 1-2 fingering, which my teacher always tried to stop me doing. And the phrasing is lovely, but different (again) to what I did. I love how he got the right hand to sing the melody in the second movement. Edit: I noticed a 3-4 trill! Absolute no no, I've had been told off for that. And I couldn't have done it anyway: he has such control over the weaker fingers.
When I listen to Mozart’s music, I feel something exceedingly profound that cannot be expressed in words and that musicians cannot musically imagine.

Mozart and Barenboim is such a great combination 👏👏

Very modern interpretation. Love it!
What do you mean by 'modern'? Faster than was the original intention? He is showing off - "see how fast I can play? See? Wee!"
