I believe the "Philodendron sp esmeraldas" is also known as "philodendron sp macas" in Japan. Recently it has been given placed in a new species as "philodendron sp dolichogynium"
Indeed, this taxon is sold as sp. 'Macas' and sp. aff. hebetatum. Dolichogynium (literally «elongated vulva», for its long pistils) refers however to its taxonomical section, which it shares with only another two species, P. sparreorum and P. delinskii. It remains an unnamed species for now.

The Pastazanum Silver is FIRE! I've been thinking about getting a Sodiroi, but now that's been replaced by the Pastazanum Silver instead. I have a really big Dean McDowell it would look amazing next to!

Hey!!! My Esmeraldense just came in today!!! It is such a beautiful plant and the odd growth pattern is prevalent in the plant I got too! Maybe it's just a sign that it REALLY wants something to climb on. 🌿🌱

Kaylee I know a philo you would like. Philodendron scottmorianum. It's kind of like a green billietiae. Pictures don't do it justice. The leaves get puckered and the upper lobes are overlapped or they have a very narrow sinus.

And one of the obvious difference between Philodendron plowmanii and sp. Colombia is the petiole. Philodendron plowmanii have a wavy collar but the sp. Colombia have a smooth round petiole like Philodendron gloriosum. Both are gorgeous.

Otherwise there seems to be some black covering a few letters of 'Philodendron' - but that's about it...?
The only thing I could find remotely possible is it covers the "dro" which can be used in reference to mar*Juana grown hydroponically and it could be due to a flagging issue she's trying to circumvent

And today won a SP Esmeraldas on eBay, rabbit hole, LOL!!!!!! 3rd) **joke alert** You seem to get a lot of “Boi’s & Long Boi’s on your side of the planet, but a couple ponds away in Hawaii, I get a lot of Keiki Girls, Baby Girls, that I inspire to grow into Mama’s….. She arrived, She’s here, on Maui…… SP Esmeraldas (She form)…. Got her on a brand new moss pole, & She’s Beautiful!!!!!!!!
All those plants are large to HUGE. Thank goodness I don't try and stuff my plants into a milsbo cabinet because they would quickly outgrow it. I do wish I had a giant sized greenhouse though since so many of these featured plants get humongous in size.

i really think this squamecaule and the last episodes's dark form one r variations of serpens! the squamicaules have hairs on the sinus and under the leaves! there's info online
I have a thing for long philodendrons too, but you have to check philodendron sqaumiferum variegata. The yellow variegation will turn into mint and eventually mint green.

Spiritus was so overrated. It’s funny how a cutting was worth thousands and now you can find one for less than a $1000 😂
it is a very attractive plant, but crazy overpriced. People sitting at home buying plants online was quite an odd time. My most expensive one was maybe 80. and I have seen it listed for like 1000., which is crazy to me.

Your Philodendron sp. Esmeraldas is nearly shaped like an Anthurium longissimilobum. Concerning the lake of popularity of Anthurium veitchii, I think it's a problem of availability of space. Due to good TH-cam channels like yours or Instagram, most people are better aware now of the size, speed growth, habits and requirements of plants. And when you see how large can be an Anthurium veiitchii, a Philodendron sharoniae, billietae or atabapoense indoor, you usually think twice before purchasing one 'cause it's stupid and irresponsible to buy a plant before throwing it a year or two later because it becomes too large. And we have too the crazy fever fashion for Monsteras (you know, the "Thai.. something" crushing like weeds everywhere while his price collapse 😉) which steal the post of our dear longbois.
