    My old Mazda lasted me 400k miles. I changed the oil every 7500 miles and rotated the tires. Only had to change my timing belt 1x and the clutch. Then I sold it privately for a profit. Shine it up. Tint the windows and buy new tires and change the brakes oil change, tune up and it will last a long long time. As far as the newer. Cars goes, you can buy after market stuff like led lights all around and led headlights and that car will look nice. That's why alot of people hold on to their Mazdas cuz they're great cars to modify and have fun with if it isn't broke don't fix it. It beats having a monthly car payment. My car now is a 2018 Mazda 3 soul red manual. Tinted windows 15% tint. New tires. 48k miles and I plan on putting 400k miles or more on this one

      Feels like a gamble to only change the timing belt once in 400k miles.

    I have a 2014 Mazda 3 touring model. It has 220,000 and is still running strong. Time for shocks and cats. The cats are expensive. Had zero problems with the car so I bought a used 2018 Mazda 6 with 20,000. Hope it’s does us right also.

    I got 116k on my 2015 mazda 6. These cars skyactiv engine are redesigned by mazda japan. They are not owned by ford anymore since 2014. The engine and transmission are redesigned together and compliment eachother. Yes,tires make a difference.
    I plan on owning another skyactiv mazda.
    Researching turbo bit the 2.5 non turbo is a great engine.

    Outstanding choice buddy.......Still own my 1st Gen Mazdaspeed 3, and absolutely no hiccups, accidents, dents or dings for 13 years. As long as the regular maintenance is kept up, you’ll be in good hands......Been my work car for this long, but luckily work was only just 10 minutes away. Surprisingly enough, just 60k is all I put on it.....yeah, I babied it all this time 😉👍then again, this particular Mazda has been really good for me for this long. Have a zoom-zoom time with yours friend ( old days Mazda Motto ) lol 😉

    I haven't driven the 2015 model before, but I got the 2017 Touring model and cabin noise is pretty good. I did some research prior to buying, and they've mentioned that the cabin noise in the 2017+ has been reduced. That was one of the reasons why I decided to settle with the 2017, plus I prefer the 2017 rear bumper look. I mean it's not much of a difference, but it's got less of the black trim on the 2017 rear bumper.

    I have the sportnav version in the UK which I believe is the same trim level as the US GT but with a 2.0l engine. We didn't get the 2.5l ☹️. I also hit a cat earlier this year at 55mph. The poor bastard was actually stuck in the lower air intake and was still alive until I took it to the vets. It's a great car to drive and good to know they're reliable in the long term.

      Hey Bro, I bought my 2016 Mazda 3 Sport Nav (165ps) from new. I have put 30k on it so far and it purrs like a kitten. I didn't buy it to be a boy racer, I needed something reliable and long-term and Mazda are known for that. I only have small nitpicks but 5.5 years of ownership, I have never had to ring up my dealership and say there is an issue. On the motorway, it's flawless. Naturally aspirated is definitely my preferred choice of engine.

    I have a 2016 Mazda 3 Hatchback. Its the iTouring trim, and I love it. My car also has the chipped taillight! I don't know what causes this, but your chip is identical to mine. My car also has random love marks on it too. The car is a lot of fun to drive. The cabin noise is a bother though. I like the size of the rims on yours. The iTouring has smaller rims which I don't like.

    • @TheMarkoPoloProgram

      steve0h2004 Sounds awesome. Yeah the car has been driving great, went on a trip last week, and the car trip was pretty good. Only con is the back row seats don’t have to much space, so I wouldnt recommend big adults sitting in the back. More suited for teens, kids. Also yeah it’s hard to find a great deals , with low mile Mazda from 2014 and up. That’s why the one great deal I found, I had to drive about 4 hours there and 4 hours back. Well worth it though!

    • @theaveragecar672
      @theaveragecar672  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can't speak to the Mazda specifically on that, since I got rid of the car around 150k. But I can say that as long as the car has been maintained properly, and not beaten on, it should be fine. Proper maintenance on a high mileage vehicle would be better than a low mileage car that has been neglected.

    How is Gas milage with this car? Some people say its bad?

    • @Nightcrawlerfive

      He said 32 in the video. My wife has one, also with the 2.5L, and she gets similar on her commute. Maybe 1 or 2 mpg better.
      It's by no means great gas mileage for a car that small, but anything over 30 isn't going to be a huge expense in gas costs.
