my 2014 i-sport has been a dream come true. fluid changes, filters, and tire rotations only and it still runs like new 90k miles later. i find it funny how underrated mazdas are, but the fact is any mazda made in japan will be just as reliable as a honda. and they are such stylish fun cars.
Great review! I copped a 2014 Grand Touring Hatch recently and absolutely love it. The interior quality is really solid and I LOVE the handling the car provides.
6/27/24 i own a 2015 S Grand Touring that Meteor Gray. 132,000 miles and still runs great and it really has a timeless design. A good set of tires quiets the interior quite nicely.
I have an old 2012 mazda 3 2.0l skyactiv... it's great dispite of it's friendship with ford... i'm considering change it by a 2017-2018 mazda 3 GT like a daily car... i hope the change will be good.

fuel economy??
@@brutushita1 very good!!! i drive the 6 speed manual, I get 30 in the city and 40 on the highway. Auto gets slighty better
Is it still running well ?
I own a hatchback 2015 optimum 2.0 manual 6 speed. Love this little cute car. Currently 114000km

Couldn't agree more!
How is the cabin noise
@@aberdeen1021 Easily the worst part of the car lol, it's mad loud at highway speeds.
@@Alex-yj9xl It’s an S Grand Touring
@@dbowe4415 Hey, any chance you changed tyres since then to reduce road noise? If you did, how much did it help?
In Japan, Mazda did offer the 3rd gen with 4WD, too.
I have a 2014 SEL so quite dated now but still drives really well and is fun to drive.
Great video Mike. Just bought a 2016 Mazda3 s GT a few days, love it so far.
Some say that it is loud car, road noise inside the cabin. How is your experience with that :?
@@pufifa yeah it's pretty noisy on the freeway for sure. Different tires could help. But with the tunes on its not as noticeable
@@tech_gear Thanks for reply! 👍
Great review! Im always looking for reviews comparing the Mazda 3 with the Civic.

Good review! I just bought used Mazda 3 2019 here in Thailand. It's a good car & fun to drive.
I have a 2014 i-sport. Those grand touring models have so many more features, but the truth is, I can easily live without them, and do.
Same here. Whatever the bare bones, base model is, I got it. 2014 as well, 6 speed manual is so fun.

Got one also _crazy good on gas! 😎 Sears suck long distance your bang on there.
I was tripping when you said awd and thought you saw into the future, then realized that this was uploaded 10 months ago
lol
Why manual?
Which is better (more reliable) the 2nd gen or this 3rd gen?
Does the 2.5 come in a manual?
Yes, absolutely
You look like mike from the stradman
What up stradman
Car parked with no emergency break?
Sounded loud AF on the highway.
Road noise is common issue with these cars, unfortunately
A 2017-2018 with good tires is a decent improvement as far as road noise is concerned
Too much focus on appearance instead of technical review.
It's too wide.
What a dumb comment ... it's got great proportions and width gives you better handling and more interior room.
@@seanthompson8071 ok. i agree it's got more room
ur mom's too wide
