That sounds beautiful! I can imagine how good you feel to have tackled the issue.
i have the same issues in my bike..., I will try to do the same to fix my xr1200x.
Let us know how it works out.
Hey, thanks for your videos about the XR, not much content around on these, especially here in Germany. Maybe it would be possible for you to upload a short clip with your idle set to a thousand, 900 and 850, 800rpm to hear the sound difference. I‘m thinking about getting a powervision but am not sure if it is worth the invest just for tinkering with the idle.
Cheers and greetings from southwest Germany!
I could do that but you are not really supposed to have it idle less than 900 rpm due to it causing low oil pressure.
@@xpsgarage yup, I know. It’s just out of curiosity. But still I don’t think that it’ll harm your engine more than for example a serious amount of cold starts. Cheers!
@@arkus9905 No it won't hurt anything to try I just thought you might be planning on setting it lower. I'll make you a video as soon as it warms up enough to run it.
@@xpsgarage Thanks a lot!
What that instrument you using to messure the diff. Value with?
That is the Power Vision Black series tuner from Dynojet. Very handy tool but a bit pricey.
@@xpsgarage thanks 👍😊
