My bank's mortgage director told me people destroy them. That is, I asked if they had considered renting unoccupied houses to poor people, just charging what they could afford to pay. The bank would have someone taking care of the house, people would have a home. He said they've actually tried that. The houses get destroyed. Portland Maine needs a couple of these villages. It’s all over the country. Greed has gotten so out of control that some people could work eighty hours a week and it would never be enough. These villages are great. Can’t say enough good about them. Not all poor people are scum bags
Now this is what I call real Christian. I have been to every church telling my troubles and all they do is say, 'Ill pray for you. I'm still without shelter, cold and hungry after 30years and they are still kneeling in the chapel praying and walk out to drive their BMWs to have their lunch at 5-Star hotels with their pastor and cell group members, have retreats at resorts, fly overseas to have their private holidays every year end....you know what I'm saying, don't you?
Yes. Absolutely. Lived in Bend for 10 years. Went to a church but we still lived in abject poverty. Lived in a run down farmhouse because there was literally no rental housing when we moved to Bend and we had 5 kids. Yep. Got pretty tired of the "we will pray for you" while I taped my shoes together with duct tape.
I'm going to do this. I'm going to create housing for the homeless in my future. I want to, because struggling is NOT fun or okay to let happen... I've struggled my whole life to have stuff, like a home, food, all that, and have moved 13 times in 19 years... It's awful, and I think it's something everyone should help with, to get those less fortunate people off of the streets and into a secure place. A home.
Oh please do! There are so many homeless broken souls out there who need more folks with a good heart & a few extra dollars to help others, including their poor little sweet furbabys
@Thomas Lucas why am I not surprised. The California goverment does not care for the poor and homeless. They are actively ticketing you to homelessnes. If you have a motorhome or trailer there is no place to park that is adorable. So they are forced to park on the streets and risked getting ticketed. I got 2 por parking at the trolley because my home takes up 2 spaces. I was there helping a frien that lost her husband and I used the trolley to get to her. I know of 2 homeless men that endeed up in a RV to live in, and got ticketed untill they could not pay the tickets. And ended up losing there RV's. One moved into the car the other to a tent. Then the car got ticketed for sleeping in it, until it got towed away and he ended up on the steets, pooping and sleeping they both lost there jobs because they were not able to be clean, no clothes no bathroom no job. Thank you to California DemoCrap run goverment, look at what they did to San Francisco, LA and San Diego, beautiful citys now full of homeless camps, so sad that people really think that they are helping by giving out food to eat for the day, but nothing to help the poor to be able to feed and care for them selves.
Hello Chrissy Maria I hope you get your wish, but they look tiny ,but maybe that's what we all need as we get older, but imagine ,if you were to have a big dog, it would take up a lot of room, maybe this is what the future holds for all of us,tiny house's, take care, god bless
Yes, I wondered if any of them are adapted to be accessible for disabled people - they didn't say. Because for me as well as being very claustrophobic (I suffered awake paralysis with suffocation in the operating theatre, anesthetic awareness) I would hit myself on corners everywhere and those steps up to sleeping loft would be way too difficult and dangerous.
I would absolutely love to build a community like this. This whole thing made me cry its so amazing what they're doing for people. Everyone deserves stability and to feel safe. I would 100% rather see tiny home communities over seeing skid rows around town
@@harino1066thats my thought too. What is required to build this community? The septic alone would require a lot of space. Alternative, if available, would be local sewer lines. What kind of zoning is needed? What about power? A meter is very expensive.
huu7hbbjko - its going to depend on where you are located and where you kick this off right ? Get in contact with them for tips to get started, its that easy ! The rest might be an uphill challenge but we love challenges thats why we take on these kinds of projects 💫
Bless Pastor Bryant and all those who donated their time, materials and expertise to make this project a reality. I hope other cities will do the same and soon, because the homeless problem is getting worse and worse, and as you can see, a lot of the homeless are not drug addicts, just people who can't afford overpriced housing.
Those peoples who dislike this they may do not know how peoples surviving and what kind of problems faced by the homeless peoples. In the world a lots of peoples are homeless because they do not know they can build the tiny and affordable houses where they can live with dignity. It's time to inspire all those peoples who are homeless or economically weak or who can not afford the costly house for their living.
They are hard to set a tax rate on. It's not that they aren't a great idea it's just that municipalities are having hard time figuring out how to make money off them. I'm stuck in public housing and it sucks. The monthly value/rent for one of these units is $1,400 a month i pay $300 the government pays the rest. Tiny homes would be much healthier places to live at half the cost or less. People need to speak up about how their tax dollars are being wasted on public housing. Public housing is just warehousing people. Tiny homes are what's needed at a fraction of the cost.
Some people just overall believe that homeless people intentionally made themselves homeless and that they're lazy, drug addicted, alcoholics or mentally ill. Many people do not bother to see them as human who've had some very unfortunate things happen to them and so they don't care to have any part in helping the homeless get into places like those shown in the video. It's really sad that some parts of humanity can be so cruel.
The best part of this community is that they are not transient. Those retirees on a small fixed income can live there forever, and amongst friends. There should be communities like this all over the country.
This is what the tiny homes movement is all about - real people building homes on a budget to resolve real housing need. Not a pretty couple making a 'lifestyle choice' and hawking/monetising the whole experience/ 'journey' on social media. This is a template that really can work to resolve the housing crisis. Inspiring stuff...
I so agree with this. I was so disappointed when I started researching the tiny house movement. So much of it was young able bodied people putting a house on their parents land, and then making their money on TH-cam. Nothing wrong with making money on TH-cam, but I’d like to see people who don’t have these options get these kind of opportunities. Older folks, mentally and physically handicapped, etc.
Convince gov to let everyone have an acre of free tax free land to grow a food forest on and live on. End farm subsidies. End tax breaks to farms exsept those who grow healthy vegan food for human consumption exsept no large mono crops. End mandatory school, ged and hsd requirements, age limits, minimum wage, and exsessive regs. People should be able to learn how to do a good job they want so they can afford a house and car before 18. For those who and whos parents can afford it, tax deductible chairty and or the about 180,000dollars spent on k thru 12 per student could pay for it and trash k thru 12 and some of that money could be used to promote more independence and healthy living.
This is most beautiful thing I’ve seen by far. Like one gentleman said, there’s a bond created when home owners are required to put in time(minimum of 50hrs) and make the home their own having input creating it. All rent is below $400 which most people can afford especially the elderly, most importantly it keeps homeless folks off the streets. And it’s a second opportunity for the residents. The co-op membership thing is another great idea. You see folks, HOMELESS FOLKS ARE HUMANS JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE AND ONLY NEED SOME LITTLE HELP TO FIND THEIR WAY.
As nice as this is we have to ask about the more core issues. Why are they in this situation to begin with? Can this base symptom be treated? Is this actually the best option for them or is it possible it will harm their mindsets in the future? These are real questions that while not glamorous or easy to swallow need to ne asked. Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll eat for the rest of his life. That is the principle I was raised by and I whole heartedly believe in it. Hard work is the one and only way to be self reliant as an honest person. I simply worry that this is just a way for the people who made it to feel good and virtue signal without having actually made significant enough changes in these peoples lives to help them become self sufficient. And to be honest 50 hours of work, even on housing as small as this is chump change in the long run. These houses likely took over 4-5 thousand houses from multiple people to build.
@@matyasofinvention6304 Being homeless and jobless are two very different things. These people have incomes, but housing costs on the west coast is extremely high. Some cities have rent controlled housing, but it's limited. Also, 50 hour's is the minimum. Many people do much more than that.
Matyas of Invention Virtue signal is a rude way of describing what these people have done. They’ve given people a roof over their head as well as dignity. Yes what a great way to help poor people. Stick 'em all in sheds. The elites would love to have 99% of us living in sheds while they live in style. The saddest thing is when I hear how grateful these dim wits are.
@@kennerthallen2132 you would be grateful too if you were living in your car. Debbie Potter. Can you and some friends afford to buy 2 acres of land if you pool money? You may fit 10 to 20 such 150 sq foot cottages on 2 acres. Such a tight collective could fund that endeavor with corporate dues (rents) of $400 a month with a $1000 buy in. Even power, septic and water could be delivered self sustained in the right location. A simple ($8k 10 kw) solar or wind or solar generator could support 10) 200 sq foot homes as easily as a 2000 sq foot suburban residence. Some communities would fight you, but many unincorporated areas would not. Worth the research. When a group of Iowans decided to do this in 1894 they went all the way to the undeveloped side of Mobile Bay in Alabama to buy the land.

i thought , when i win the lottery , i am going to do this here in uk , i been thinking this for a couple of years or more , make them big enough to live in but no wasted space , make it a village , all beautiful houses with just the room you need not space you can not afford to heat , not just that but also have a community garden grow as much food as they can , have a few chickens and ducks and geese , some goats , so their food bills drop right down too , just make it so you each have to put in time to keep it but you get the food and you know its all fresh , have what i would call a club house were post is delivered and washing machines are, if i put it by a river i will have water turbines to run it all , make it fairly small but proper side walks and nice gardens so it looks like a shrunken village
In a Viking village, that club house would be the longhouse. A place to eat, and meet, do laundry, maybe groupnkitchen, board games. That would be spectacular. I've been thinking about a group of A FRAMES in the woods, hot tubs, gardens, I love this idea.
They? YOU get involved with a church or charity and volunteer and you can make this happen in your community. It was all done by volunteers. The government has No business in housing. Half the money would go to graft and corruptions.
They need these tiny home communities EVERYWHERE! Fantastic idea, and get these poor folks off the street and end a lot of violence and crime. Wake up Detroit.
Robert A. Lofgren Jr. wake up Houston.. anyone know of any “TINY HOME COMMUNITIES” being built in Houston? Or, where one may volunteer in nearby cities, states, other countries? Which churches or organizations are familiar with this in TEXAS?
Sadly there are cities that see homeless people as rats. A plague that makes their city look bad and by "supporting" them in any way brings down property values to their homes. THAT PISSES ME OFF. Pardon my anger and language. I moved from a bigger city after my Mom and Dad passed away. My "friend" screwed me over and blew our rent on drugs and got us evicted. He moved back home with his mom while I had no where to go. I lived in a motel for a while. They had "cheap" weekly rates. Not so cheap. I couldn't save any money. I ended up in a shelter. I was treated as a person, NOT a vermin. They found me a transitional place, and I was only there a few weeks. Yes there were some who had been there longer. BUT it is NOT for me to judge anyone. I WASN'T judged. I never believed in stereotypes, and I still believe a man or woman DEFINES who he or she is. NOT by how they look, their race, or their financial background. My point is as some of you have said is EVERYONE DESERVES another chance at a life. When we give up on each other then what? As human beings we are SUPPOSED to have the capacity to be able to care, to help people. Lately all I've seen is killing and BRUTALITY. We need to be better than that. These people are trying to help. It takes MORE ENERGY AND EFFORT to fight and argue than it does to shake someone's hand and introduce yourself. Just sayin.
I had tears in my eyes watching this! The key word that I picked up on within this video was “dignity”. Well done to ALL those involved in this project and others like it - my words cannot express my gratitude to the people in this world who are prepared to make a genuine difference to others, especially those in need. I would also like to thank the residents who showed us around their homes - they are all beautiful, welcoming and SAFE homes. I am so impressed with this idea. Well done to everyone involved! COME ON BORIS! LET’S TRY THIS HERE IN THE UK!!!
I have a tiny house in a Mobile Home Park - a very nice park, might I add - the blame lies with property owners / management. Wish I had done this 10 years ago before I had that BIG house BIG bills- mentality ( brain washing at it’s Finest)!! Wake up America - it’s still Great - even with TINY living. Amen!
Once you find yourself homeless...you will appreciate trailer parks or government housing...don't look down through your nose at people...God will humble you...or karma...depending on what you believe ...good luck
What an absolutely wonderful idea/initiative! Wow!!! :) This is 'God' in action. These should be rolled out worldwide/ wherever possible! I'm so happy to have come across this.
Really good to see people helping others in practical way. Love how eclectic the tiny village, much better and more character full than having every building the same. EVERY country need to get behind and support these ideas... we definitely need this in the UK 💓🏡✌️
We in the philippines could also use this... Learn to downsize to lessen the heat index... And at the same time, provide shelter for the homeless and informal settlers...
This says it is 4 years old...time to re-visit! We all need to keep hearing of how good life is when all you need fits in a tiny house & your community supports you.
I'm not homeless but I'd live there, garden, cook and support the community 👍 ...I'd love to volunteer there. To clarify... I used to be a part of the food sovereignty movement & I ran a community garden on my own property when I lived in Detroit. Now I live in an uppity tech town, in the Midwest 😒, where community & unity seem to be sorely lacking (idealized but not realized). I truly miss being a part of those simple activities that meant so much more to humanity & impacted lives directly. But seriously, I'd volunteer there, partly because the people in the community are taking small steps to improve their lives (according to their level of conscious awareness).
This is what I want to do with my life. Whenever I think about my future, what's left of it, it's this idea or something similar I keep coming back to. Being born into poverty and barely managing to keep my head just above poverty my own entire life, I am very fortunate. It's been pure luck that I had a career I could do from home during Coronavirus even though I am underpaid for my skill. Doing this kind of work is what life is about and I am going to figure out how to do this in my fourth decade here on earth.
I agree that the tiny house movement is the greatest concept ever. It seems to be the only system that really works towards helping the homeless not only gain a place they can call home, but they now feel they are a part of a community.
This needs to be available to ALL Americans! Everyone who wants to own a tiny home should be able too. Greed has killed the American Dream! Property owners and Landlords charge to much for rent.
I wonder how many rules they have? I bet no smoking, drinking, overnight guests, curfew, no firearms? You give up all of your personal freedoms for the privilege of living in a crappy shed. This is an amazing concept I live in South Florida and at one time was homeless myself there's a large homeless community here, and we have nothing like this I am going to try to get some people together and see if I can start this process of making small homes that are affordable for people. Thank you so much for sharing
I'm in the process of building a tiny home and I encourage anyone who has the means to do so. You can have an affordable home and end the endless extortion of renting.
This is so heart warming. My chest is actually swelled watching and listening. What a wonderfull thing you have done pastor.. Everyone interviewed was so lovely and we can see how much it means to them. Wow.
Dorothy, God bless you! If you have the time, energy and can do it, I know several people, including myself, who will need an affordable tiny house in the future (I might actually inherit some land in central Portugal that I hope to be able to use for that purpose), as we get along in years. None of us have children who can afford to help us financially with that and we have all served for years as volunteer independent (ecumenic) missionaries/humanitarian workers in our younger years, in far away countries, many times forsaking all to do it, (over and over again) and move according to the need of the work. Please get in touch, if you think you can help raise funds for that... Kind Regards, Isabel Gg
An amazing project 🙌 this is what real Christianity is about. Helping those less fortunate. Affordable housing and affordable health care should be a right for every human being
This is amazing!! We should hug this type of living. Our generation (Baby Boomers) have been taught that more is success... a total lie... having more = sadness... , having less = happiness !!! 💕
Sometimes more is burdensome. I've thought of tiny house living just for the sake of minimizing upkeep. The more you accumulate sometimes, the more you feel weighed down. Image a tiny home that was also easy to move.

Well said!
Portland Maine needs a couple of these villages. It’s all over the country. Greed has gotten so out of control that some people could work eighty hours a week and it would never be enough. These villages are great. Can’t say enough good about them. Not all poor people are scum bags
Exactly..I'm ready to move there from pa..seriously
Your so right! Lets do it! Karly Lincoln Maine
RIGHT!... IT'S THE PEOPLE THAT NEED TO CHANGE!
Amen to that!!❤
Being poor has nothing to do with being a scum bag. Scum bags come in all shapes, sizes and economic means..
Nailed it
I feel ya, sister!
YES! The judgement from these holier than thou congregations and pastors, too!
Of course I know what you are talking about.
First them, needy people last.
God bless all these residents, the donors, the architects and builders who contributed to this fantastic housing project.

This needs to be replicated everywhere
Oh yes!
A home.
Do it, Noah!! We love your decisive compassion...xoxo Thank you for watching. -RR
I agree I would love to do this to in my city..
Remember me when they are ready ...I am also in need of a home I am 64 yrs no job.
I wish you the greatest of luck.
Oh please do! There are so many homeless broken souls out there who need more folks with a good heart & a few extra dollars to help others, including their poor little sweet furbabys
This needs to be done in every state!
Gabriele Bolds > in every city!
Yes! This is something im soon to be doing in our town for the homeless
Every country
All over the World .....
I'm not Christian, but I really love this. This is what it means to be a caring and compassionate human being.
I personally thank you for allowing people that have these little tiny houses to have some dignity in their life I think this is fantastic
I am disabled and I live with my mother, imagine having something like this? It would be amazing!
Save money buy a shed and build your Tiny House and live on your mother's land
I Love The Tiny Homes I Want One....
Hello Chrissy Maria I hope you get your wish, but they look tiny ,but maybe that's what we all need as we get older, but imagine ,if you were to have a big dog, it would take up a lot of room, maybe this is what the future holds for all of us,tiny house's, take care, god bless
@@NEATERTICK she said she lived with her mother. She didn't say her mother owned anything.
Imagine if each city had a parcel of land set aside for small home communities
They won't do it. Private citizens have to do it.
States that fund the public school based on the property tax would need to tax the inhabitants a different way
Get elected in your town and craft policy to make it happen . Anyone can talk . Most don't do anything to make a difference
That's would he amazing then we can help the veterans and non vets every homeless person needs a place to lay there head and feel proud
🙏🏼💜🙏🏼
I would absolutely love to build a community like this. This whole thing made me cry its so amazing what they're doing for people. Everyone deserves stability and to feel safe. I would 100% rather see tiny home communities over seeing skid rows around town
If you do, please let us know
It is the best model of this kind of solution I have seen. I want to know how hard it is to implement elsewhere.
This could end homelessness:) This is all a person needs:) For those who want a home:)
I’m glad to say Kentucky is working on this. My fellow vets deserve this !
This is one of the most productive, uplifting example of a church helping someone in need. Bravo! We need more!
Why would anyone dislike this? Genuinely curious. I think this is a brilliant concept.
The Banks dislike these.
Landlords and real estate speculators dislike this because it impacts their profit margins.
“You don’t just throw your kids away cause you can’t find a place to live” 😭😭
God Bless this ministry
The best part of this community is that they are not transient. Those retirees on a small fixed income can live there forever, and amongst friends. There should be communities like this all over the country.
Tissue Alert: My gratitude to everyone that has helped to make this amazing community a reality. Blessings to you!
God bless all these builders and architects who donated. And every person who was part of this project. Thank you God for all these angels.
Andrew Cheatle, you have nailed it! Most people on "social media" just want to sell you something. They don't want to "bond" with you at all!
Agreed...We can't let this become just another trending fad for disposable income.
I agree. All those bimbos with makeup on TH-cam who pretend to live in tiny homes are making a mockery of this movement.
Community gardens and orchards would offset their grocery Bill's as well
TheEmeraldfox777 I give this you ENDLESS 👍🏻
They showed EXACTLY that in the intro shots.

End farm subsidies. End tax

Its therapeutic too, but as a lover of gardening, it can be time consuming :) Some people dont have 14 hours a week to have a decent garden.
This proves no one should be homeless with all the money and resources there is in the world.
This is awesome!💝
😃 yes, i compleatly agree!
So many things put people in a position to be in a low income situation. More reasons than you could probably ever think of. Meantime, some one acted on a solution instead of just Yackity yacking like you are.
@@matyasofinvention6304 Did you not watched the entire video? Most of them worked hard all their life in minimum wage jobs, then they turned 64 yrs old and out of job. They couldn't afford their rent and we're evicted. These people can fish. Unfortunately, the people who buy their fish cheated them of their rightful earning.
This is a brilliant idea. The fact they helped build their home makes them feel a part of it..accomplished
Pretty much cried through this whole video. The kindness, compassion, understanding… it’s criminal how many people need homes and can’t afford it. Seniors, families with children, singles-everyone needs and deserves safe housing, not living out of a car, if they’re lucky. Who is profiting on all this misery?
We loved telling this story. And we personally felt hopeful, like this is a blueprint, literally and figuratively, for making a difference for a lot of people in a lot of places. May it be so. Thanks for watching, and for commenting! - RR
What a great way to help the people of your community. God bless you guys.
Yeah, but what you don't know is that they will eventually want everyone who is not what they consider elite to live like that. They want the earth for themselves .
I wonder how many rules they have? I bet no smoking, drinking, overnight guests, curfew, no firearms? You give up all of your personal freedoms for the privilege of living in a crappy shed. Who holds the $1,500 that each of the tenants save? Who collects the interest, or decides how it can be accessed?
Yes what a great way to help poor people. Stick 'em all in sheds. The elites would love to have 99% of us living in sheds while they live in style. The saddest thing is when I hear how grateful these dim wits are.
@@kennerthallen2132 you would be grateful too if you were living in your car. Living large is really not all it appears to be All the taxes, maintenance etc is really not worth it especially if you have a small family. I can say this because I've experienced both and since downsizing I feel a peace and freedom that you would have to experience to understand. I've found out that we sometimes have way more stuff than we need.
@@noreenharewood8675 I agree, but you made a choice, correct? These poor people didn't get to chose this life, it was thrust upon them.

Kitty Piercy was the former mayor in the video. Pastor Dan is the gentleman who is the Executive Director of the project.
THEY NEED TO PUT THESE IN EVERY CITY!! THIS IS SUCH A GREAT IDEA!!
This is so amazing!!! Just listen to the PRIDE in their voices for the houses THEY built. These are people that would have been living in a cardboard box... forgotten... dismissed... disrespected. But just look at them now!!! Grandma is so happy that her granddaughter is coming to stay with her. You have given these people so much more than a Home... you gave them a LIFE. Bless you!
Pity the councils of the world dont adopt this great area we in the UK could do with these why don't councils listen to people especially single people 😢
I’d love to live in one of these. Homes like these should be made available for everyone!
CMaPD : They are. Some people buy tiny houses, some build them, some renovate mobile homes or school buses.
Not allowed in the UK

I live here in California it would be nice if they can make it here n affordable for people!
I love that they require everyone to contribute at least 50 hours toward the building of their home. That is what gives this project so much dignity; it allows these people to regain self-respect and purpose after their homeless experience. It lifts people out of depression and gets them excited about doing something to help themselves. It wouldn't be the same if homes were just "made available" to everyone.
The magic is that they helped to build it themselves and pay for the upkeep of the whole community. Well done!
Wonderful
This gives me ideas so when I cash out my AMC winnings I want to build small home communities.
So nice that they have each other because when you get older sometimes you just have you
Imagine that a pastor, not sitting around collecting checks. Someone doing God's work. 💜🙏💜
I would so live in a tiny home and in a village. It’s great.
Agreed. This is super.
Me too Debbie
I wonder how many rules they have? I bet no smoking, drinking, overnight guests, curfew, no firearms? You give up all of your personal freedoms for the privilege of living in a crappy shed. Yes me too Debbie. What an awesome idea. I love these tiny homes
Every state needs many communities like this.
I love that each resident gets to put their own personality into the project and that not every home is alike. Good job!
i thought , when i win the lottery , i am going to do this here in uk , i been thinking this for a couple of years or more , make them big enough to live in but no wasted space , make it a village , all beautiful houses with just the room you need not space you can not afford to heat , not just that but also have a community garden grow as much food as they can , have a few chickens and ducks and geese , some goats , so their food bills drop right down too , just make it so you each have to put in time to keep it but you get the food and you know its all fresh , have what i would call a club house were post is delivered and washing machines are, if i put it by a river i will have water turbines to run it all , make it fairly small but proper side walks and nice gardens so it looks like a shrunken village
i am thinking cob , its warmer and safer than many small houses and you can have a stove
i have considered floating too , not sure cob would work then though , too heavy
I love your vision
Wonderful.
In a Viking village, that club house would be the longhouse. A place to eat, and meet, do laundry, maybe groupnkitchen, board games.
That would be spectacular.
I've been thinking about a group of A FRAMES in the woods, hot tubs, gardens, I love this idea.
The older women's story is like mine exactly, and I'm sure that's true of a lot of people. People need somewhere safe that is affordable. I need that.
I think that there is a need for this in every community around the world 🌎
I totally agree with the mayor's rationale. I think this is a wonderful service provided to the community. Wish they would do this everywhere.
Just sayin.

Certainly better than trailer parks or government housing.

How so? This is only temporary accommodation.

We all need to keep hearing of how good life is when all you need fits in a tiny house & your community supports you.
They need places like this here in Mississippi, and all over the U.S.A!!!!
I'm not homeless but I'd live there, garden, cook and support the community 👍
...I'd love to volunteer there.
Well said, I'll join you or anyone anywhere volunteering.

"Beautiful Village" Thank you to everyone committed to the people and to the project. This is a happy village made for the people by the people.
An amazing project 🙌 this is what real Christianity is about. Helping those less fortunate. Affordable housing and affordable health care should be a right for every human being
the old lady wearing pink pullover has full of wisdom. I like her she's so inspiring.
This is amazing!! We should hug this type of living. Our generation (Baby Boomers) have been taught that more is success... a total lie... having more = sadness... , having less = happiness !!! 💕

It's not so much the less as not as much waste .cheeper than having things you don't really need.
Sometimes more is burdensome. I've thought of tiny house living just for the sake of minimizing upkeep. The more you accumulate sometimes, the more you feel weighed down. Image a tiny home that was also easy to move.
Hi nice one
Couldn't agree with you more! Well said. God Bless
I am on ssdi and would love to have a house that is affordable and works for me. 375 a month is way better than paying 550 just for rent and then 90 for car insurance and the rest on food and i am broke for the whole the rest of the month out of 770 a month
Thank you for doing this and caring for all God's children.
I am praying that God shows me the way I can do this in my town. Jacksonville, Fla.
Blessings to all.
God bless you Pastor Dan!
Great idea! Christian love in action!
Brian Riley Christian love in its truest sense
Why not just HUMANITY at work?
I live in a tiny cabin for the last 20 years my rent is $250 a month it has saved me from homelessness as I can't afford anything expensive and am so thankful for my one room cabin 🙂💙

GOD BLESS YOU AND TO ALL.
When public housing fails to house every human being in need of housing! God is good...
Where there is a will, there is a way! Helping thy neighbor 😍
BRavo !! This teaches goofy uppity neighborhoods, these are relevant people who want to work and contribute.
I Love this !!
Pastor Bryant , thank you for the great work you're doing.
This is so awesome and encouraging, finding myself alone, over 60, and homeless, disabled, I so understand the hopelessness and despair, and absolute loneliness along with being treated differently, I worked hard all my life for.....??? to see the joy on their faces say's it all. Jesus bless y'all 🕊
This is a problem every where, living East coast,Housing is NOT AFFORDABLE to working or disabled people,No living wage to keep up rents or keep your home you own (the American Dream homeowners ship slips away) I worked my life ro get one,and now a work injury, changed my life forever.Help is needed for all to make it affordable.
This great tiny house community should be brought out here in the Northeast ! Homelessness is real over here too and the over priced housing in NYC is insane! Housing is a human right,
This is breathing space for folks who need it the most, it’s humanity in action, and adds peace and love to the world. well done!!
