It's been there longer than any other tiny home community, and they've been here on TH-cam so many times I've lost count. I haven't lived in DFW since 1988 or Texas since 1989.
Kudos to the park owner! People should have a place to relax outdoors as well as a comfortable home inside! Tiny homes with great designs are perfect places to live and really enjoy your life!

We went a different route wanting privacy so tiny house more land no neighbors but would love to create a village for persons who are elderly and/or disabled!
OK, the first problem I see is they are parking them on dirt. This park should have concrete pads for the homes to be parked on. And why are they so close together? This park owner is ripping these people off. These are campers. People need to go into these things with their eyes wide open. Don't get caught up in the hype.
Not wanting to leave Texas. I see we now have several parks for a tiny home. I don't know if the rules would allow a park model. Gotta have a 11x24 or longer. How awesome are these! ❤
You know, when I built my first tiny house I thought I needed a giant one until I started living in it and realized it was just wasted space. I now live in a 8'x16' and it's more than enough. People don't realize how brainwashed they are by our materialist culture until you get rid of most of your stuff (not the stuff I actually cared about) and live more minimally. I used to buy a new couch every few years, buy new clothes every year, stupid crap. But everyone is different.
I don't like the idea that it seems as though this tiny home park requires you to buy your home from a certain builder. It makes me wonder if they're getting some sort of kick back from the builder to promote them.
This is a trailer park. When the owner increases the lot rent or sales the land, they are going to have the same problems as trailers because they don’t own the land that it sits on. Even if you tow it to another park same issue on repeat. Edit: And it’s not “tidy” it’s really cluttered.
Go shed to house, pay around $400-$500 per month for 36 month on unrestricted land and own the property. why rent? Solar wood stove rainwater dry composting and a big garden. Life is good!
This is just so sad. Glorifying tiny homes bc our economy sucks. As someone who has lived in one bedroom apartments off and on for 25 years….dreaming of a real home was all I could do. Now, ‘tiny homes’ are gaining popularity. American dreams are quite literally…..shrinking.
These people who have these tiny homes already had places to live, and folks that isn't right, because tiny homes started out being for low income and the homeless to live. The wealthy and these people don't fit into those categories at all. What bothers me is that tiny homes have become trendy for people who already had their own homes, so the homeless and the people who are living on their social security and medicare are still getting screwed in this country, and folks it has to stop being for others who don't need them.😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Hello from the Oregon Coast 🤠 Our goal is to purchase land, put a Tiny Home on it. Space for a large garden absolutely. Free range chickens. Need a lot of space from neighbors. There is plenty of land for sale here on the coast. Conservative communities/small town living and respecting the environment.
As a 37 year old guy who grew up seeing houses being valued above 100k and more, those prices to me has always been too outrageous knowing that I would have to continue to pay on the home for 15-30 years of my life. I just can't see myself doing that. I think the tiny house with a lesser value would be perfect for me. Too much room is just more problems to deal with. If anyone know where I should start doing my research, please let me know.
You aren't going to find many tiny homes under 80K, if you want one that is truly liveable like a small apartment would be. The price per square foot for most tiny homes is TRIPLE the cost of most traditional-size homes. That said, if you just want 4 walls, a kitchen sink, a toilet, and a shower...basically a shed you can live in, then you can check out the Incredibox from Incredible Tiny Homes in Newport, TN. It is the most basic envelope that you can live in that I've seen since I've been looking at tiny homes (2011-2023). When I say basic, I mean there is no paint on the walls, nowhere to hang your clothes, and nowhere to put your towels, no sink in the bathroom, etc. There is flooring, a flushable toilet, and a 36" shower. It's not pretty, but it is functional. They have an 8' x 16' that is like a college dorm size (but without closets or storage) for $20K and a 8' x 20' with the same layout and amenities, just 4' more length for $25K. If you have building experience, one of those might work for you if you can find somewhere to park it. WARNING: most tiny home parks and mobile home communities will *NOT* allow you to work on your tiny home once you move in, they don't want you disturbing other people's peace with a bunch of hammering, drilling, etc.
I love my 150sqft. Everything I own and love is within reach, I own my house outright and rent a small piece of land in the woods. It allows me to work less and live my life in peace. The constant desire for more more more makes everyone unhappy.
I could have had a tub in mine but kids didn't wait. I have a tub in farm house where I live with kids & grandson on their land. Because I sometimes have to have a tub. They do have private hot tubs you can rent by the hour if you get desparate for the soak. But yeah in your home is best. Also for little kids to play for help while cooking. lol. I have 7' head room. I don't want to a/c or heat all that ceiling or never shut off all the windows letting in heat in the summer & cold in the winter.
Oh yeah double sinks on my island. All three sinks have swivel faucets, black fixtures but sinks are square in kichen & square outside & a half moon scoop white porcelain but square in br. They are paying for airspace to spend on utilities that they can't use with windows glaore. That's where your money goes now. I can camp & live anywhere. Tiny homes are not accpeted in campgrounds to live yet either. So goodluck finding a place to live. I can join Good Sam's club & save money on rent as well. If I was living in a campground at a lake or river or stream ya know with nature as an ammenity.

I lived in Dallas, Lewisville, Carrollton for 33 years and I got excited about tiny houses ever since 2015. About once a month I'd drive over to Rockwall and tour all of their tiny homes. Every year, I kept waiting for The City to approve a tiny house community. So after Antifa attacked our neighborhood, I moved, to Alabama, then Florida, California, Missouri and now I'm in Louisiana. All I want, is to get a tiny house and move back to Dallas where I can retire and be near my family, friends and my Church.

Our next step is talking to the builder & seeing what our options are. My dream TH might not be in our budget. I won’t know until we ask.
I hope this helps.keep looking if you need a TH for a family. Note: you will save money if you can live close to a builder. Last I checked, transportation can cost a loof money. Also know the city ordinance rules bc a city may not allow a TH on a piece of land you purchased. That’s why these communities are important. I wish you the best!
@@gizmosworld5855 thanks very much yes there is many many thing's that have to be considered when living in a TH much research has to be done. Yes I don't mind living with less I pretty much living that way as it is. I'm getting up in age where thing's are not that important to me anymore just family friend's and good health. They way thing's are going it might be a good time to start thinking about down sizing. Gizmo's World thank you for all the great information. Yes I agree location location location makes a world of difference.
“We are pretty tidy people.” This is key.
No it gets old dragging out and putting away. Just get an rv that has it as a home. Read about my new home . It's more and better. Cheaper saver.
@@jwilcox4726 where can I see it?
This is just beautiful. Thank for showing…
This is what the American dream has come to, I'm glad I grew up as a post baby boomer.
I wish you told us about costs, such as purchase price, utility hook-ups, lot rental, etc. Also, could you add solar to roof? Can you unhook & move it to another location? Thanks!!!! Jim
The best tiny home layout I have seen. It's fabulous.
Love this tiny home with tall ceilings and great storage space/closets. The community looks nice too. Wonder what this one cost???
This is the new starter middle class home....the standard of living in the 🇺🇸 for the middle class is dwindling & it's sad to see the media glamorize it
Once again mind you-!!! It's all part of the diabolically evil democratic party😈. " New World🌎 Disorder ideology syndrome conspiracy theory. To turn the (U.S.)a Venezuelan (3 rd) world nation.
I absolutely love the last house where the wife and husband and kids live❤she seems so happy there❤
I just don't like the land renting. I've been renting for over 20 years and I don't like how the fees can change after a decade or so. Moving those homes is not cheap. I more looking for a tiny home on a small land that I would own. That's the dream😅
Let's talk about the price of these homes the cost is ridiculous per square foot
check out on yt...Incredible tiny homes in Newport, Tenn.....Randy Jones...been watching for 6 1/2 yrs....you'll be shocked & happy..
How beautiful ❤ tiny homes have a place now and beautiful one
If I got a tiny home, the first thing I would do is cancel my Costco membership.😂😂😂
Jerry Terry has a fast-talking’ hijack-hawkin’ shyster-vibe to him.
Wow I’m surprised I haven’t seen this community yet. We’re out of Dallas area now but still go back and forth to different areas.
They have a tiny house community in Fort Worth also.
Tons of fully unrestricted land in TN too.
It's been there longer than any other tiny home community, and they've been here on TH-cam so many times I've lost count. I haven't lived in DFW since 1988 or Texas since 1989.
This is literally the yuppie version of a trailer/mobile home. A mobile home at least given you more space.
Kudos to the park owner! People should
have a place to relax outdoors as well as
a comfortable home inside! Tiny homes
with great designs are perfect places to
live and really enjoy your life!
Tiny homes can be cute. But if you have to rent the land under it I don't think it is a good investment.
Bingo, it's now a mobile home community...
Best to own your own small piece of land (& still have to pay taxes on that plot😢)
Another reason to be proud of this great state. 🤠✌
I can almost smell your narcissistic psychopathology.
@@le_th_ I can smell your petty jealousy and self-hatred in the air . that's ok... Texas loves you anyway!!!! 😎✌
My first trailer had a tiny little sink in kitchen with a little pump handle you worked with one hand while you rinsed a dish in the other. Funny now.
It's very beautiful
Blessings to you both 🙏
girl driving in down town Dallas should have been beyond never racking as people in Dallas drive crazy! Glad everyone made it one piece. I lived in Dallas 2yrs then moved back to Houston!
Just finished my RN career, hoping in the future me and my hubby can buy one of these and move around the country. These are so cool.
What happens when somebody decides to sell the land, you are parked on?
🤫🤫🤫🤫🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Then, you have to move to another place or sell your tiny house.
Move the unit to another location-!!!😉
I cant seem to find the answer about if I need to buy land, water power hook up, property tax stuff like that. Pls share more details?
It's good to have options for home living quarters.
We went a different route wanting privacy so tiny house more land no neighbors but would love to create a village for persons who are elderly and/or disabled!
The Couple with 2 small children, nice Home, very nice!!
OK, the first problem I see is they are parking them on dirt. This park should have concrete pads for the homes to be parked on. And why are they so close together? This park owner is ripping these people off. These are campers. People need to go into these things with their eyes wide open. Don't get caught up in the hype.
This is awesome! Congrats on your tiny home!
@@MrMountainchris I can agree I have 2 pup's and need room to move in not stuff I don't need at all. Do you have a place in Texas?
@@DeborahLong7777 Virginia actually.
thats all I need since I love to go places or sit in the sun, an affordable tiny home is all I need.
Love the community feeling
I don't like the idea that it seems as though this tiny home park requires you to buy your home from a certain builder. It makes me wonder if they're getting some sort of kick back from the builder to promote them.
Great place, beautiful homes.
A blessing for everyone💖
This is a trailer park. When the owner increases the lot rent or sales the land, they are going to have the same problems as trailers because they don’t own the land that it sits on. Even if you tow it to another park same issue on repeat.
Edit: And it’s not “tidy” it’s really cluttered.
Beautiful tiny homes! 🙌🙌❤️💜
Cute homes. I like the couples's tiny home and the last tiny home. How much is their lot rent?
Go shed to house, pay around $400-$500 per month for 36 month on unrestricted land and own the property. why rent? Solar wood stove rainwater dry composting and a big garden. Life is good!
The only thing I don’t like about these places is that they do not have fences providing some kind of privacy to each home’s “backyard”
What bothers me is that tiny homes have become trendy for people who already had their own homes, so the homeless and the people who are living on their social security and medicare are still getting screwed in this country, and folks it has to stop being for others who don't need them.😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Tiny home with covered carport is a good idea
Beautiful tiny homes
Love the community and homes
@@le_th_ Thank you for the update. I guess I'll just save up for a home, lol.
I love my 150sqft. Everything I own and love is within reach, I own my house outright and rent a small piece of land in the woods. It allows me to work less and live my life in peace. The constant desire for more more more makes everyone unhappy.
Wow yo he visitado su workshop y hacen un excelente trabajo bravo 👏🏻 Decathlon Tiny Homes
Finally rooms where the kids can stand up.
Love the double sink and how much head room in the last house on this video. I also love tubs
All states should provide Tiny Home Village lots!
Renting out the lot and provide with water and sewerage are HUGE!
AWESOME!!! WOULD LOVE TO LIVE IN A TINY HOME!!!
Thanks for wonderful news! Great idea! I would add as a public health nurse...be sure to have excellent ventilation and some filters and protection from dust in Texas.
Love the stand up loft ❤
They sell tiny homes for the same as a large house. DIY and you can use salvage stuff and save thousands.
We did one for about 20k. Rents for 1100 utilities included.
NO PRIVACY
This is the America today!
These are very nice and I would like to buy one to put on a piece of property. The caviot is there is no room for my sewing and knitting machines! I have to have that because I not content simply watching TH-cam or surfing the internet! What do people do?
We need this in Detroit!
This is a very nice tiny home with a lot of storage. I could live there.
Excellent tiny home building company.
Great start!Starr!! Will be the solution for some. Better than homeless.
I would love to know who built Marcel and Elaina’s home! It is just gorgeous! I won’t live in Texas, but it would be perfect in Florida, too! I just need a downstairs bedroom. Your needs change in your 80s.
Love the tile & black & white in Belle! My niece’s favorite princess was Belle too. Cute dog!
I cringe every time a female tells me she loves Belle. That is a recipe for a future in domestic violence if there ever was one. Little girls who love Belle tend to have fathers who are narcissists. No little girl should be encouraged to love a brutish beast, and certainly not to idolize one.
Girls should be taught to RUN from men like that. I only wish I were kidding about this.
@@le_th_ no thank you for your unsolicted comment! I don't have to worry about my niece being involved in a domestic violence situation because she was recently killed in a horrible accident. I don't know why people like you feel the need to comment on other people's comment! You should comment to the person that did the video! The other commenters do not care about your useless opinion!
Wow what a community
They look like tiny wooden mobile homes.
it's just a mobile home park with more expensive per sq foot homes and less space inside the houses.
Actually they are wooden pull behind campers (rv's).
Cost of renting a lot is $500-$600 😅
The lot rent is $700-$750 with a $1000 deposit and one year lease. You have to bring your own tiny house and they vary widely in price.
The family of 4 deserves a medal for living within 300 sq feet! Raising children with a minimalism mindset is such a gift. More areas need to allow and encourage tiny home villages. Good for you Texas!!
Not everything in Texas is big!
Where does everyone park there cars? This is a disaster. These will not be allowed in regular mobile home parks.
So adorable watching it go down the highway. I hope there is a tornado shelter they can all go to if need be.
That was my thought! Especially in north Texas
people who live in regular homes also need tornado shelter
Did not notice - but I could not live without a full size refrigerator and freezer.
Guessing tiny home people don't buy Costco toilet paper.
Very nice !!! Love it !! Congrats 💖😊

Where are they locate?
Tiny home on wheels. Yes please! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Marcelo Ferrer should 100% become a sales person for these really nice tiny homes. He is easy to listen to, and went into some great details. That microwave looked huge BTW!!!
I got really fat after an accident left me unable to exercise for a long time, so I'll keep dreaming. I think the concept is a good one, and I don't see why this idea of new minimal living space can't become perhaps the new norm, and the new decisive goal for the populace.
These look like nicer trailer homes. I really don't see the difference.
