And the homeless population is world wide, of course. I read that Scotland has a homeless prevention program. I do hope that other countries can find inspiration from this tiny home concept. And that we can learn from other countries. That which helps save lives deserves a round of applause.
david schechter While I agree that drugs cause problems in communities, drugs addicts are people too and they deserve to be warm and dry as well. Every one has issues.
Yasu Leone if you make that the case, there should be regular drug tests done also. Not saying that people on drugs don’t deserve a place to stay, but being on drugs will cause more problems. Ex: stealing and violence. The tiny homes work in Oregon, but your idea would be a lot better suited to a larger city like New York where there is a much more dense population. You could have it like this place where each person would be assigned their own capsule so that they would have their own space and they would be able to stay until they can get a job and get permanent housing. This is a good idea, it just needs some more work.
I agree. Even other parts of the world follow the housing model first and then they address the cause of homelessness. It is smart that this state follows this. I hope California is smart and will follow this model.

Being homeless was one of the most difficult, desperate, lonely, shameful parts of my life. It eats away at your soul when you are disregarded and set aside. On the flip side, I've met some of the kindest, most generous people when I was homeless. I've learned to be grateful for things I took for granted. I realized that suffering creates a new sense of appreciation, and hardships build strength and perserverance. And God is much more concerned with our character than our comfort. Just a little food for thought ; sometimes God takes away all the distractions so we can better hear His voice.
To have clothes, food, shelter, warmth and security...blessings on blessings. And $250 to $350 is well in reach of a minimum wage income. Looks like Kentrel has made his little house into a home. Respect and sincere well wishes, Kentrel!
Yeah I've been couch surfing for 10 years for 6 of them I had a job making 1000$ A month I tried my hardest just to find a room to rent and every one wants 500-600 a month + Utilities. If I had something like this where I live It would of been a miracle. I'm currently still couch surfing I am actually thinking about relocating to one of the cities trying this so I can have a chance for a normal life.

People can stop purchasing brand name stuff, stop going to watch movies, stop paying for concerts, etc. Kind of like an economic revolution to turn everything upside down. Once Hollywood stars and sport stars and many of those wealthy people start losing audience, then the government will start to pay attention.
My goal is to battle homelessness in Las Vegas. I would love to start with a community like this. I'm working on saving the money to be able to go through with it by the time I'm 30.
The American government has the money & resources to fix this. It's the system of government that is designed wrong. Presidents are incentivised into giving money to the rich - because the rich donate cash back to the election campaigns. With the stroke of a pen, this could be repaired overnight. By taxing the rich. And by banning all political donations entirely. And by banning political profiteering. But, the American system was not designed for this to be possible. Not unless an honest set of political leaders are found on BOTH sides. And, both political parties seem miles away from achieving that.
Just saw this comment and I'm from Nevada too! Not sure if you're familiar with them but food not bombs has been trying to set something like this up (tiny little places just big enough for people to sleep, not on a scale like this atm) but they've been facing a lot of push back from it. I'd definitely look into it tho if you're interested in volunteering with them, they're a great organization.
Happy that Kentrel has a cat. That image of him sitting in a corner with his cat nearby on a shelf looking out a window is so peaceful. I'm sure things will continue on a positive road for Kentrel.
The guy at the end, Cantrell? His house is so beautiful! I'm envious! All these rich people living in huge empty boxes loaded with consumer goods, and Cantrell's house is way prettier.
Like NerdyChat said he works 40 hours a week. He lives in the community because he was going to school but didn't finish so he has a lot of debt. The residents still have to pay 250-300 per month for rent and if we're going to be completely honest it isn't possible to survive on food stamps alone for food unless you're skipping every other meal and eating rice with tomatoes so these people still have to work, we're just making sure they aren't sleeping on the streets where it's much harder to get yourself in a better situation.
My parents retired and volunteer tirelessly for this organization, I’m so proud of them and so grateful that there are people like them that care. This is a huge community effort, I hope we can see more solutions like this everywhere. My parents are my heroes! ❤️
Are you able to give us an update on how the community is doing? I'm wondering if larger plots of land and gardening programs could help further help the people living there. Gardening and growing one's food can be quite healing. Thoughts?

It's a really sad thing that in Americ-a that a person can work 40 hours a week and still not be able to afford to pay rent somewhere. Something is wrong within the system. We all know to well that the "rich" have and make too much......too many of them come from $$ and too many of them get paid a ridiculous amount of money for what they do. There are people that work their fingers to the bone and do very hard work and don't get paid a decent amount. No-one should be homeless if they are working......also our vets on the streets should never be left homeless. Someone(many of us) need to fight all the red tape and all the crazy "laws" that are in place that only help the upper class. I live in a very small community, we may have a few homeless behind the scenes but if I lived in a city or town that actually had this many homeless that needed a helping hand I would be trying my best to find a way to help them out and to bring awareness to this growing problem.
That's not just America, unfortunate\lt that's most places in the world. If he is working 40 hours at min. wage (and he's single) he should be able to afford a studio apt in a lower income area.

The rent is too high, the pay scale doesn't match the economy that we live in. Too much money being taken out for taxes and health insurance, by the time you bring your check home you can't afford nothing. Car insurance is high for a 2011 Altima, no traffic or accident in record, still paying over $200 for insurance. Then you have to pay for water, gas, electric, food and other expenses. We don't go out, don't have the time because we're always at work. Living it right now as well as looking for another job. My husband and I both work long hours. He's a Plumber Pro and I'm a Nurse. Combined income of $70,000 is just not enough money to take care of our family with just having 2kids. We are living pay check to pay check barely surviving.

My homeless friend Scott Needham just recently passed and he lived on the pavement in front of a 99 cent store. I met him one cold Christmas when I was passing out food. He was a kind old man. We became friends and I would visit him to chat and just get to know him. He was on a waiting list for low income housing and he said the only way he could get the housing someone would have to drop out or die. He got an infection last winter and did not make it. I always get sad thinking of how he almost had housing. I really felt bad that I didnt offer shelter. And I wonder if he had opportunity at a tiny housing community like this how it would have changed the quality of his life. He was adopted and had no living family and died w no kids or wife. He had other homeless friends and I feel blessed to call him a friend bc he taught me again what is most important in life...love ❤️rip Scott

Good no one should get anything for free! It needs to be implemented in the UK! No contribution to society through volunteer work your benefits should be stopped! I’m sick of people’s sense of entitlement! Everyone can do something!
Off the top of my head, I know one major issue is that a lot of cities still have laws and ordinances on the books prohibiting settlements/villages like this. A lot of these laws are held over from the 70s when they were trying to curb communes from developing. So looking into your city's housing laws and doing advocacy there is really important!
Washington State made it legal to create tiny homes and tiny home communities in 2019.😊 I'm working on making mine next year and I'm trying to get my friends on board too.
We need more of this in the world! We have so many disabled people that cannot afford housing due to their low income level. What little housing is available, is owned by slumlords that also rent to druggies that threaten the safety of the disabled. They are also forced to pay high rent cost for housing that is not safe for human habitation. this is a great solution to the problem. Building safe communities of this sort would serve the needs of so many people.
So "druggies" shouldnt be allowed to rent even if they can pay the rent? Youre directing the problem at people who are victims of societies and suggesting that they instead be homeless, instead of realizing that everyone should have homes. Drug issues cant be addressed for people unless they have the basic need of shelter
@@yamaha5647 Meth users and other addicts have extreme psychotic periods which present a real danger to people in the community. I know they have to be housed as well, but only after going through programs to clean up. Otherwise it's not fair to the community.
If I am looking@ the model in this video correctly, only after they achieve sober living would they be transitioned to the next phase. The disabled and elderly should make up 30% or so of the small home sites. Probably need a bit more square feet for handicap accessible homes (wide doorways, lower counters/sinks for wheelchairs- handicap bathroom has to be larger). This mix of abilities and ages Would give diversity needed to create well balanced communities....needs of everyone.
I would also like to add this to the mix...many of the disabled are that way due to work accidents or drunk drivers and drugged up drivers...if you think you will never have that happen to you or someone you know...dream on.
Define disability I am legally blind with ASD I still make it without welfare. Or living on the streets. My rent is almost 800 dollars a month I pay child support and all my other bills. If your really disabled they have so many different types of help to get jobs. Just being fat or lazy is not disabled.

I consider th Tiny house program the best solution to the homeless problem as. It gives each a roof, a potty, cooking space an address and privacy there is also a larger space that allows for Community cooking, showers and laundry. It is not the Hilton but a real workable solution. So my hats off to Oregon Well done.
I’m a native of Colorado and after my divorce I became homeless. It was hard working while homeless but I did it. It took about 5 years to get section 8. If you can find a place you stay because no one takes section 8. I have always loved the tiny house movement. A group tried this here and Denver city bullied them out! It’s a disgrace! We have more homeless then ever now. I’m with my daughter now. But all I have to say is keep fighting for this. Be proactive in the world around you. When you help the community around you, you help yourself.
Kathleen Lycan we moved to the Denver area 16 years ago and the city / county was in the middle of its 10 year program to eradicate homelessness. I haven’t heard anything about that program for several years.
Where I live in Europe, if someone becomes homeless due to bad luck and has no family, its the main news in local newspaper. Community helps them out, sometimes buying them old trailer home, sometimes Church builds them a new home if they have children, or the County gives them flat or old house to live in in case nobody else wants to deal with it. I see people in California not caring at all for homeless, European Union should put sanctions and ban all non essential products from California, for 1 month, just to shock them, and especially sanction all Cal. Government officials taking tax money and pretending to help the homeless doing stupid studies and 5-year plans, while blocking private initiative . No Facebook, no TH-cam, no Intel processors, no nice surfboards etc. for one month. Because if that social complacency spreads to Europe, it will be worse than Asian viruses.
I am watching this 5 years after it posted to You Tube but my hope and prayers are that this village still exists and more communities take a page from this wonderful village. I’m in tears!
If I had property... I would do this too! I understand because I have been in their shoes. Today, I live in a motorhome at a camp ground. Rent is about the same here.
Honestly the laws are.made so that it is nearly impossible to do that. Only a few savvy people figure out how and who to allow this environment to happen and within a reasonable price.
Maybe it’s different in various states. But having a house is wonderfull in all these ways. But another bit of red tape is that you can’t get a job without a permanent address.
i mean if the village is on one lot they can use that as the address, then the owner of the lot can pass the mail to the person it belongs to. Not sure if that would work but its an idea.
@@fozzybear8878 For tax reasons when you start a job you have to give your information and as proof of identity for taxes you need an address. If you do not have an address you are not a tax payer therefor not a recognized citizen. You can not even vote without an address. This is why a lot of politicians do not care for homeless people. Also, to get social services (at least where I live) you have to prove you have an address (you still have to file your taxes when you are on social services and as part of rent you are helping pay the landlord's property tax). Some homeless people get around this by using someone else's address, but that can be considered fraud (they are not paying taxes for living at that address. Remember, no taxes = not a citizen). You also have to prove you are a citizen, have a job permit, or are a permanent resident to get a job. If you can not do that then you are not legally allowed to have a permanent job. (They can not properly tax you otherwise)
@@tohrurikku Thanks for your reply and your interest. In Australia, we still pay taxes no matter where we live- the tax dept doesn;t care if you live under bridge- you will still pay taxes to the full extent. Employment and housing are separate here. Here, if you had a GPO box as an address, the employer would just think you had a crazy stalker and likely never mention your housing situation ever.
@@fozzybear8878 It is nice that over there your employers are so easy going, but here some employers would raise their eyebrows if you have a p.o. box and a lot of employers hire people on the basis of where the prospective employee lives. If you live out of town and there is a major snow storm you would not be able to come into work because the highway would be closed. Employers do not like situations like that so they avoid hiring people who will have a hard time coming to work. They would also chose the person who lives closer to the place of employment to ensure that the employee comes in every day. So your address is very important here when you are applying for a job. Where I live and how I expect to come to work has been a topic of conversation on pretty much every job interview I have ever had. Homeless people here are often living off the grid and can not do their taxes. Honestly, expecting a homeless person to do their taxes is unfathomable. To get a post office box is not that easy, you not only need the money to get one (they are not cheap) but you also need two pieces of Id as well and a lot of homeless people do not have that. There are programs to help people to get their basic id if they are low income. I can not attest on what requirements you would need to be able to utilize these programs so I can not say how effective it would be for a homeless person. Still, I do not think it would not be enough for the required Id needed to get a post office box.
Two great models , transitional and permanent , addressing the housing needs of the marginalized. I hope more communities see the viability here and adopt similar projects. Bravo Eugene, Oregon!
A Discourse well they aren’t meant to be permanent homes that money could probably be better spent building a higher volume of homes rather than amenities. I know it sounds harsh but you have to remember it’s temporary to get them on their feet and you’d help more people that way. Solar panels and batteries and installation isn’t cheap.

We thought it would save me money and help but the city wont allow it, and would cost me the same I'm paying now. I dont understand what it bothers them for, especially if its family sharing the land. But you cannot have two living spaces on one land without paying the same taxes for both. :(. I even joked at one point about living in his shed in the backyard but the city wont even allow that because it's not "code" lol.
Something needs to be done like lowering the prices of rental prices. The way things are now a person would probably need like 3 jobs to maintain a household basic necessities which is ridiculous.
Amira Muhammad first step is lower property taxes (cities would have to cut back their spending due to less income) then ppl owning the buildings can lower a bit . But usually high demand causes high prices because that’s how it works. Increasing amount of available housing would decrease prices as it increases competition.

There are laws against squaters, jobs are legally allowed to discriminate against you if you have a crimional record or you have kids or you have no car which alot of people don't realise that if your an addict when you get clean it makes it hard for you to recover so when you can't find a job alot of times they end up going back to drugs and crime. The difference it makes to be under a roof, no matter what roof, is huge compared to being out in the open. I love these ideas, I hope they can be expanded on.
Not the governments job.... "ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country. Time for people to get off their asses and quit expecting someone else to fix all their problems.
It's unbelievable that you think the government can do it better than the community can. The government is a faceless system of bureaucratic red tape that neither cares about individual circumstances nor can cater to individuals. The community is the neighbors who see and interact with these people, who know their stories, who know what kind of help they really need versus what kind of help would be useless or even harmful. Think of the success of GoFundMe. That alone demonstrates that the community is often much more generous and efficient than the government can be.
Great idea to house the poor, homeless, people who can’t afford to rent or live in traditional homes due to their situation. It is so expensive nowadays for rent, food, fuel, medical insurance, etc.
Honestly my thoughts are because of other formaldehyde in the plastic of cars and homes as well by regulation states OK for a car because you’re not usually in a car longer than eight hours so sleeping in a car gives you all kinds of sickness which in turn causes you to see a doctor and if you’re on Medi-Cal they cost to much money for the state. @@realvictoria5970 that's only for new vehicles. Once they have off-gassed they are fine. However, it is much easier for bacteria and such to form inside a vehicle if you are not aware of the potential for it. You even have to be careful what chemicals you use to clean as the smell can be very overpowering or even toxic. We have some very old laws classifying what is deemed suitable to live in. They exclude tiny homes in many places as well, thankfully many areas are changing these laws. We can do a lot more with a lot less space. Excellent initiative from Eugene, Oregon! Absolutely brilliant concept of providing tiny homes for those in need, and to provide essential facilities for the community. You can get wind up lighting, solar lights, I will assume that lady that was talking is looking for a job or has one now I'm sorry about her losing all her children.
I think they could fit far more people into those little areas, maybe double/triple size of the bathroom thingy for the new numbers. But I think they should be having far more of these kinds of places for those that can't get homes currently. If they can get a councilors of some sort nearby so they can help them get through their personal issues and get them back into the workforce, it could go good in long run.
You will never know if you are not homeless people. I can feel their heart ,what they need. And thanks for people who build the tiny houses for them. You will get bless .

And the homeless population is world wide, of course. I read that Scotland has a homeless prevention program. I do hope that other countries can find inspiration from this tiny home concept. And that we can learn from other countries. That which helps save lives deserves a round of applause.

We're turning into a pay scale much like a third world country. The sad thing is, companies couldn't survive now if it wasn't for this.

Kentrel is so sweet and smart... it's scary that you can be smart and hardworking and still not be able to afford housing in our society.
Thank you for helping other people ♥️
We need more of this in the world!
We rented homes for awhile & always took setion 8. Offered incentives to renew lease but most move on. Not stable.

We are so very happy that tiny home communities are being used to help the homeless population.
Can you provide evidence that you cannot get a job without a permanent address.

We NEED more community's like this!!! Let's build one in Denver!?!?! I need a home
Thank you for helping these people, all countries should do the same.
I’m glad someone is making an effort to help lift others up! Now they just need solar panels donations, so they can enjoy light!!

Kentrel has such a positive soul! I hope he can finish school one day.
I'm actually homeless on December 12th 2019. Lost my job. Don't know where my family is.
God bless you and you will be in my prayers
Hope you’re doing okay
I hope you're okay. I'm so sorry..
I'm sorry to hear this has happened to you. Hopefully you can reconnect with your family and life gets better. Keeping you in my prayers.💛

This needs to happen across America.
What can I do? I want to help no matter what. People need help in this world more than ever and knowing there are kids going thru this is heart breaking. COME ON AMERICA REMEMBER WE THE PEOPLE! UNITED WE STAND AND OUR COUNTRY IS FALLING APART. LET'S DO SOMETHING.
This is one of the most humane things a city can do! I hope other cities like Seattle (Mr. Bezos, how about it?) will follow. Great for seniors also!
Old peep can,t sleep in lofts.
I’m so proud of this young man I wish u much success
i started off in life leaving home at 17 with the shirt on my back . luckily for me a guy who owned the local scrap yard took pitty on me and let me stay in his yard in a caravan .
now i own my own home i never forgot where i came from my door is never locked .
the only reason any one is homeless is because you are not allowed to call any place you sleep your home
Yes I know what that is like being homeless and living in your car like me and my daughter and three dogs for 3 months in the cold. Now thank God for jesus me and my daughter live in a nice warm house God truly bless us. Keep praying daily and keep the faith.
Emerald City is a diamond in the ruff! we need these everywhere!
I wish I had the money to fund something like this in my city!! Winnipeg needs this. MB as a whole needs this. Half the reserves out here dont even have proper plumbing or electric.
Maybe you could sponsor a house, or let someone set up one in your yard 0:)
@@hershekissed I wish my city allowed that. Sadly they're greedy and have laws. I myself am disabled from a motorcycle crash and can barely afford my place, my brother wanted to buy a house with a large backyard so I could purchase a small readybuilt house and move it onto the lot.
Lucky Lex then burn your corrupt as shit government to the ground. That’s more than outrageous.
Someone who's good at organizing need to set up a gofundme. I think people would donate!
Find out how they got this started & do what the Eugene People did. That's what I am going to do.
They even hv a cat living with them. Big hearted ppl living in small space. This warms my heart
What a lovely Community. No one should be homeless. My heart goes out to all of the residents here, and I hope for more Communities like this.
this is beautiful...we need more community's like this.
Wow!! America are you watching??? Thank You Eugene!!!
Habitat for humanity??? You are needed!
Exactly. Last year I wanted to go back to college but I need to work. So I was working 40 hours a week with some college units in my schedule except in california over here, I couldnt even afford rent for my own for a *STUDIO* apartment. I ended up finding a single bedroom with two other people. One guy had the bedroom, I had the couch, the other guy had the dining room... yes... the dining room... this crisis is getting very very bad.
If something isnt done to fix our situation soon, heads will roll...
And that is the point everyone has to work there ass off to have anything.
To keep what they already have.
Stop asking them to hand you money.
There money is already spent trying to hang in to what they have.
Now you need to get off your lazy ass and put up with the same jerk boss I have and work for your part to.
Stop raising property taxes and stop taxing us to death.
Allow ppl to keep more of thier earned money.
@@ElinWinblad theres pleanty of houseing and people are still homeless property tax is once a year it wouldn't lower it enough compatition doesn't help with houseing it just makes the landlord be more picky on who i wants to rent it to. There are empty houses and buildings all over the united states. Our criminal justice system doesn't rehabilitate people it creates lifetime crimonals. I saw my dad go through this now he has given up he is lost i don't think anyone can help him now he will probably die on the streets of california.
God bless them. Love how happy and thankful Kindrell is
These tiny homes are amazing !
"HOME IS WHERE THE ❤️ IS"
GREAT JOB, GUYS.
This is so important!, Belonging to a community is so precious! Thank you for sharing!!❤️🌻🙏🏼👍🕊
Now this is a SOULution!!~!
☝️love it
the young black student is on top of life he will be good no TV internet he reads
This is one of the best solutions I've seen, it's so good to see a municipality make an effort to deal with homelessness. Many won't zone for tiny houses, yet allow poop filled streets. I hope this takes off as a solution!
The difference it makes to be under a roof, no matter what roof, is huge compared to being out in the open. I love these ideas, I hope they can be expanded on.
The San Francisco Bay Area really needs villages like these. Land, money, materials and people who can build them are the hindrances.
This is great, Every state should create Tiny houses to help the homeless people. 👏🙌🙏🏻
,we need more of tiny home for homeless . Who like to be homeless? No one .
That is so awesome. Keep it up Eugene Oregon and the other cities doing this, you're being a positive inspiration to the rest of the world! 👌🏘️🏡🏡
It's unbelievable that the community itself is the one that has to fix this kind of problems because the goverment won't even bother.
makes you believe in lower taxes and less government because only individuals and churches fix problems not systems
Then why sre cities passing laws to prevent people from sleeping in their vehicles?
Honestly my thoughts are because of other formaldehyde in the plastic of cars and homes as well by regulation states OK for a car because you’re not usually in a car longer than eight hours so sleeping in a car gives you all kinds of sickness which in turn causes you to see a doctor and if you’re on Medi-Cal they cost to much money for the state. Sad I know it’s not about the humans life it’s about the $
There is a special place for all the greedy, selfish and uncaring....
HELL
@@realvictoria5970 that's only for new vehicles. Once they have off-gassed they are fine. However, it is much easier for bacteria and such to form inside a vehicle if you are not aware of the potential for it. You even have to be careful what chemicals you use to clean as the smell can be very overpowering or even toxic.
We have some very old laws classifying what is deemed suitable to live in. They exclude tiny homes in many places as well, thankfully many areas are changing these laws. We can do a lot more with a lot less space.
I lived in a vehicle and it was quite a comfortable life, I didn't go without anything. Hot coffee in the morning, hot meals every night, ereader, comfortable bed, digital radio and a lovely view as I didn't stay in the city. I even had hot showers at least 2/3 days.
I suspect the restrictions are because the middle and upper classes don't want to see people camping in their streets. It's very much a case of NIMBY (Not in my backyard).
MissFoxification because the "haves" don't appreciate the "have nots" making the area look less than perfect.........
Genocide conducted right before the eyes of the world. Just because we don't call it genocide does not mean that it is not. We should call all murder by the state, genocide. I would especially call these endless wars genocide also. Murder by the state.
Kentrel good for you. I pray GOD WILL KERP YOU ALL SAFE. AND BLESS YOU WITH AMBUNDANCE OF FAVOR. 💖
Wow they really look very thankful...GOD BLESS THE PEOPLE THAT REALLY HELPS OTHERS AND HAVE A GOOD HEART.👍
How sad that woman losing her 6 children because she couldn't get a home 😕
Then dont put 6 children into the world when youre living on the streets. Fcking irresponsible murder
@@GoingRound This might not have always been her position. She might not have always been homeless. She might not have had resources ($) for an abortion. There are many things that could be the reason for why things happened to her. No need to kick her while she’s already down. We’re all just trying to survive.
its impossible to know what she meant by that short statement without talking to her personally about it.
Leave people alone. Life is about choices. Let her walk her journey. Learn the lessons. Stop judging
@@slurmqueen930 if you kill someone while driving drunk nobody is going to give you sympathy for the trauma you get from that. Same principle.... Ofc dont kick her while she is down but im also not gonna help her up and pretend like she did nothing wrong

I lived in SLC, Utah my whole life and I never saw this. Maybe in the year 1/2 they put these there? I think this is an amazing solution to the problem. Everybody deserves to have a roof over their head. No one, no one should ever be homeless. Nor should they have to sleep somewhere where they don't feel safe. In my opinion this is a good solution. One step at a time, just grows into more steps of getter closer to a better solution.
God blessed me when i was homeless for a short while. gave me an appreciation like no other.
Excellent initiative from Eugene, Oregon! Absolutely brilliant concept of providing tiny homes for those in need, and to provide essential facilities for the community. The US (and the world) needs more communities like these, which in the long term can solve the homeless/housing crisis. Kentrel is such a lovely young man, so humble and grateful for what he has. I hope this inspires more organizations, churches and other people to start these tiny home communities so that homeless people can at least a roof over their heads. Well done!
This is Awesome I hope the Rest of the Country can learn from this Program and help all who is in Need
These tiny houses is one of the best Ideas in the World.👍🏽🙏🏽😊
God bless our country and the homeless people
Bless these people who are seeing a need and filling it. It seems incredible that the US with all its supposed wealth still pays workers such abysmal wages. I guess that's how the 1% get richer.
God knows my heart ♥ but one day I will be able to help out. That's my desire lord
I wish there were tiny houses in places like CA , NY and Detroit.
We need one in flint Michigan also
June Seed there are I’m pretty sure but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t use more
Great program! Is it for singles and couples only? What about the woman who lost her kids? But Great idea! Why not in abandoned buildings in large cities? Housing FIRST! Total reversal of what they do now.
Not a band aid. The mission is a band aid. Street living a band aid. Housing First!
Agree with you totally!!!
This turns low value land, rooftops and even carparks of dead malls into homes. Dead malls can be converted into homes, each empty shop becoming a multi bedroom home. All it takes is the initiative.
They should start a fund for solar panels truck batteries and converter inverter. so u at least got lighting and phns laptop whatever 📻 look up cello tv's they are rechargable u get 10 hrs playback it has 2 plug in lamps plus can be hooked to car battery runs on 12v-and wall power
Great idea! A lot of the homeless ppl don't want to live according to someone else's specification. They just want to live. Why do gooders have to complicate things with bureaucracy and associations, I've no idea.
You can get wind up lighting, solar lights, I will assume that lady that was talking is looking for a job or has one now I'm sorry about her losing all her children.
Good info
Go get a job buy it yourself if you want it.
@Truth Filter For TH-cam It's funny how a natural thing like electricity becomes owned by a few. Go figure!
Agreed, if I'm willing to work 40 hors a week I should at least be able to put a roof over my head.
You will never know if you are not homeless people. I can feel their heart ,what they need. And thanks for people who build the tiny houses for them. You will get bless .
